  2. Both teams down some key players. The good news is that would favor the team with the better roster. And once again it SUCs to be them.
  3. The good news on the other side is USC is without safety Fitzgerald (one of the top in the nation) and also possibly Ramsey (another star safety) who is questionable. With us not getting any receivers back, maybe the soft spot in USC's secondary with those safeties out with strengthen our passing attack a bit.
  4. Yikes. Any idea what the plan would be at LT? Rogers? Bedford? Crader? Not ideal if World can't go.
  5. World questionable with Wilson out, hope World can play!
  6. OBD wins 38 - 26 1 TO 3 Sacks 198 yards passing
  7. Looks like it is 14-3 at half for Ohio State leading Rutgers. Miami up 20-3 over VT going into half, and Oklahoma leading Missouri 14-3 in late first half. Minnesota up 21-13 at half over Northwestern? Somebody got their back up after getting rowed last weekend!
  8. Oh Jordan...referring to them as "Lil' Troy-Boys" is just a riot. I'm stealing that one! You are so talented, such a superbly written article, fun to read...we are lucky to have you contributing. I love your research; good-gosh, I did not realize the Trojans have given up 200 yards a game the last three weeks, and over 300 to Notre Dame? Whew! Huge stat. (...as a big boy body-snatcher; a colossus relocating tender souls into the next astral plane.) Wowsa. I could stay up all night and not come up with prose like that! Great information and entertainment--many thanks!

  10. Kirk Herbstreit Argues Why Oregon Ducks Must Beat USC To Make PlayoffThe No. 7 Oregon Ducks will face the No. 15 USC Trojans, and ESPN's College GameDay is on campus for the big matchup. Oregon is 9-1, but Kirk Herbstreit argues that if the Ducks lose, the program will fall out of the College Football Playoff race. Oregon Ducks On SIKirk Herbstreit Argues Why Oregon Ducks Must Beat USC To...The No. 7 Oregon Ducks are hosting the No. 15 USC Trojans on Saturday, Nov. 22. Oregon coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks are 9-1, heading into a big game at home
  11. Dan Lanning not taking ride on coaching carousel: 'This will be my spot forever' With no Alabama job available, Dan Lanning's name hasn't been bandied about as much in coaching discussions the past two years. But on ESPN's "College GameDay" in front of the Oregon crowd, he did his darndest to take his name off the table entirely. Talking to the "GameDay" cast, Lanning did not mince words when he was asked by Pat McAfee why his name wasn't being tied with the plethora of jobs available. "Because the grass is damn green, Pat," Lanning said, beaming. "I ain't going anywhere. I love this place. You gotta be able to appreciate what you have. And I appreciate what I have here so much. This will be my spot forever. And grateful for that."
  12. Rutgers just forced a 3 and out on Ohio State. They are down 7-3.
  13. Injuries won't matter if the Ducks accomplish two thingsTwo-score favorites don't lose unless they help their opponent. As long as Oregon remains focused and takes care of the football, they'll take care of business in Autzen Stadium today. The numbers dictate that Oregon needs to do two things to win: 1. Get pressure on Jayden Maiava 2. Run the football Autzen ZooInjuries won't matter if the Ducks accomplish two thingsTwo-score favorites don't lose unless they help their opponent.
  14. That was Josh Pate's prediction, Oregon playing it's best game of the year. It's a bummer that both DAK and Bryant are out but its not like they are a last minute scratch. Benson, Lowe and JMac are solid, have made great catches in previous games and have been working together the past few weeks. Sadiq is essentially a super-size WR that can beat you deep or knock you out of your shoes. He is more than a load for any LB and can smoke most safeties. Saleapaga and JJohn can block and catch so 13 formation is a very viable option in passing situations with multiple threats. Unanimous nods from the ESPN crew makes sense and Oregon should be ok.
  15. On a side note the GDC picked Harvard over Yale and its Yale 17 Harvard 0☠️
  16. Its the moment of truth- To this point this a defining game as far a being a pretender or a contender.
  17. Missouri 3-0 on Oklahoma and getting the ball back. This would be a big one in the SEC. OU would drop out of playoffs with 3 losses.
  18. -- Oregon --49 - 31 -- 3 -- 5 -- 305
  19. Oregon better not fall behind by too many points. I don’t like the idea of having to rely on Dante Moore and a depleted WR group.
  20. CONFIDENCE! I believe we play our best game of the year so far. It's time for a statement game. Sco Ducks!
  21. Miami leading Virginia Tech 7-3 in late first quarter....
  22. They can run a lot of 12 and 13 formations and still stay balanced. Oregon can be the new Stanford.
  23. I was surprised, but all five picked Oregon to win, and both Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit expressed respect for the USC offense, but felt that the Oregon defense had enough of an edge to prevail. Is that a great confidence boost, or the ultimate curse?
  24. UNLV 9-2, gave Hawaii a 38-10 Aloha. UCLA? Bob Chesney, not Dan Mullen? Dan did well as HC of the Gators before getting sideways with a booster or 5 over recruiting issues before the portal and NIL arrived. He should be moving on up. Truck the Trojans!
  25. I really hope E-Stew is back today given Dak and Gary Bryant are out; otherwise, Oregon may need to lean on the ground game to open up the passing game like last week.
