  1. Past hour
  2. Solar, your “playing scared” supposition is a bit harsh. A QB has, as a primary obligation, to avoid getting sacked or getting hit while in the act of passing which often results in a turnover. At the time of the IU game Dante had been sacked only once in the previous four, maybe five games. IU sacked him six times and hit him late at least that many more. He definitely lost some faith in the pass protection, which was warranted and necessary for maintaining possession of the ball.
  3. Today
  4. Since this IS NOT the official prediction thread I think Indiana wins because there are too many distractions going on with Oregon, way too many.
  5. Oregon adds another special teams commitment from the portal: K Keaton Emmett Oregon native and Nevada Wolf Pack kicker transfer Keaton Emmett commits to the Oregon Ducks, giving the program their second specialist commitment of the week.
  6. IU wins 24 - 21. This is going to be a bit of a defensive battle, with neither offense looking particularly sharp (because both defenses came to play). But the winner of this game will win the natty over Miami. Just saying....
  7. I'll play along. It gives me 2 chances to be wrong. This unofficial guess and the real Prediction thread later. DUCKS 30-24 2 3 284
  8. Hey, wait a minute...I have a (near) Seattle area code. 😄😄
  9. Oregon 24-17 TOs =1 Sacks = 2 Pass yds = 248
  10. Crud, I just have/had a feeling that this could be the year. After seeing this I don't think he has improved that much at all. Ducks better run first and run often.
  11. Exactly what I was thinking..... but people are having fun. I wonder how many of these predictions might change with new news coming out. (e.g. Davidson out)
  12. I think Hill and Whittington are good backs but neither of them bring the physicality that Davison does, it's a huge loss. We're also one injury away now from essentially having one RB available. Really hope Limar will stay since he might fit into being the fullback in the 2-1 personnel packages
  13. I dont remember what game it was this year but NW played like an absolute beast. Hopefully he finds that gear again.
  14. He probably saw Cannady.
  15. He previewed it at the BCS Duck tailgate. There was a crowd cheer contest to see which team he would create a ballad for and of course, Duck fans won. Also, before drones, there was a laser show on Camelback Mountain. And proper fandom attire.
  16. It’s likely not a clean break. He could’ve done it earlier in the game and it just presented as soreness or a bruise. Still, you don’t want to play even with a small fracture. Whittington is actually the team’s leading rusher. He’s just going to have to carry more of the load.
  17. Always happens to us, something has to happen to ruin chances. Huge loss since Davison was the RB having the most success against Indiana last time. It also cripples our ability to use the 2 RB formations we've using to great affect. It's always us, Indiana deals with one injury the entire year while we have to deal with injury after injury.
  18. Wrap it down from under the shoulder, take pain killers and off you go?
  19. Nasir Wyatt recruited as an LB was spotted repping with RBs during practice.
  20. Damn, was hoping it was all rumor. Maybe Moga wants to switch to RB for the remaining season.
  21. People probably remember how harsh I was on Dante Moore for the IU loss. Upon further reflection, I still haven't changed my mind. Moore dropped back for a deep throw on his first pass and got sacked with IU and TTU which left him really concerned about the pass rush. Then his head and eyes were down, scanning the DL so his peripheral field of view is only 5-10 yards down field. WRs/TEs further than 10 yards down field are not in his field of view. He literally can not see them, because he's too scared to look up and take his eyes off the pass rush. It's as simple as that. He doesn't trust his OL. He needs to trust the OL to do their job and focus more on doing his job. Move in the pocket based on peripheral vision but keep your eyes up to see open receivers down the field, not the other way around. If we lose because the OL doesn't do there job I can live with that, and he should live with that. But playing scared is a horrible way to lose in the playoffs. But if he can't figure out how to not play scared and wants to go pro, he'll have a fright fest playing behind that Raider OL...
  22. Rewatching the 3rd down run by him at the very end of the game he landed a little weird and got up slow. Guessing that is when it happened. Hopefully Limar stays with the team and plays on Friday as we need him.
  23. Time to let Noah Whittington put together his two best games he's ever played as a Duck and go out as a hero! With Dierre Hill in there to keep him fresh of course.
  24. Spencer is reporting it as well about Jordan Davison
  25. Nothing official yet from Oregon. I doubt this news has no basis, but a "fractured" clavicle could be a slight AC (acromioclavicular) separation that would be painful but not debilitating. Just got to wait to find out.
  26. Why does it feel like the deck is stacked against Oregon every year?
  27. If Davison broke his collar bone it wasn't during the game, because he finished with a goal line score and the wings celebration. I hope this rumor is false.
