Jonathan Smith has recruiting relationships on the West Coast and he ran a pretty good offense for the fuskies before coming to OSU and completely turning that program around. It seemed like he went to MSU because he had to. Not because he wanted to. I hope he doesn't go to Seattle because OBD might not be able to steal as many of their local recruits if he comes back.

💯 I too am baffled. Making the playoff and losing in the first round is better than any other non-playoff scenario imo. Anything can happen in a tournament and being able to say “we’ve made the playoff every year” would be something very few programs will be able to say to recruits.
