  1. Past hour
  2. They can't go wrong if they stick to all one color: highlighter Yellow bright green that nearly black green oh hey, anything will be better than Penn State's choice. 😏
  3. Maybe have it go to Dublin next year in the River Liffey to overshadow the TCU/NC game. What great publicity that would be!
  4. We did try to trademark the word “THE”
  5. I’d love a rubber match with the Ducks, although I have to admit, not playing in the B1G Championship game last year probably helped OSU.
  6. Not sure North Western fans are that die hard....
  7. It would be hilarious, but not so much for the local PD’s overtime budget when they have to place every available cop with binoculars looking to spot roof top shooters trying to deflate Puddles.
  8. Oregon's colorful threads lead best Week 3 college football uniformsESPN.comOregon's colorful combo and Tennessee's classics lead top...The Tennessee Volunteers are sticking with their classically excellent combination of orange and white for a major SEC showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs.
  9. Coaches address speculation about Oregon’s inflatable duck appearing in Chicago - oregonlive.com It would be great if he makes it there? Chicago river or the big lake though? 😀
  10. Just read that on On3 too... If that's the case, good riddance. He was given plenty of chances to prove himself on the field and failed. Seems like worse than Ty Thompson who was at least hardworking and easy-going. Totally explains his transfer destination.
  11. The first time I remember this combo was against UCLA at the Rose Bowl in 1998, a hard fought loss back when the Bruins still fielded contenders. No matter the outcome, it struck me then as the best away uniform ever, only sharing the stage with the storm trooper.
  12. Some injuries are hard to come back from. Best of luck Jurrion. DL stated that players are expected to be on time for meetings, and practice when asked about Jurrion’s status. There were also rumors that he was fighting with teammates at practice.
  13. I'm in favor of yellow pants, yellow jerseys and green helmet. But what do I know? I can barely dress myself and I wouldn't care if the Ducks wore burlap sacks, as long as they win!
  14. Today
  15. Too bad he didn't pan out. Why was he suspended in August, I wonder? Good thing we got plenty of other talents. Wish him the best, although I doubt we will ever hear about him again...
  16. His injury derailed his ability to perform like he did in high school. He isn't the same player. I do wish him the best. He comes from a very rough neighborhood, and it appears football is the route he chose to escape it. It always pays to have a backup plan. I absolutely hope Jurrion is planning for life after football. I have serious doubts he will play in the NFL.
  17. I politely disagree, as I don't want to be the "bad-guys," but would rather stick to an Oregon color scheme. All Yellow?
  18. That is true; we need cannon-fodder...
  19. EXCELLENT uniforms!! I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but I hope that they go all/mostly black for the white out game in Penn St. The contrast will be epic.
  20. Dream scenario DM stays for another year
  21. This will only change when Penn St, Ohio St or Michigan have to go to Oregon and play after Oregon has a bye and they don't. Some wheels are larger and squeak more then others.
  22. I want to ask a question about Stein's offense, specifically one play. Tell me if I am imagining this or has he changed a basic play we and all team use. I believe its called a swing pass or bubble screen. It seems that they are having Moore throw this pass like a line drive, not a touch pass and that the receiver is catching it in full stride going forward not stationary. It seems to be a much faster developing play then in the past. Is Stein making the defense react faster and commit to set up a down field play off of this for Penn St? So am I imagining this play being different?
  23. Best of luck to Jurrion. Probably will go down as the biggest "what if" in Oregon Football?
  24. IMO, as long as the B1G remains the conference, revenue sharing should be equal through the regular season and playoff teams share playoff revenue. A stronger conference, as deep as possible, only makes the whole better. Especially for rankings. And rankings are needed to make playoff. The problem with the old Pac12 was that half the country thought it was USuC and everyone else. So a win against Utah, or ASU, etc carried no weight with voters. Whereas beating Ol Miss (or any SEC team) was a great win. You get my drift. tOSU wanting unequal shares is selfish and short-sighted. It's also a move to try and get in front of potential west coast dominance with OBD, UW and USuC surging on the horizon. (Oregon is already there) without full revenue shares Something tOSU is overlooking is the need for mid-level teams to be in- conference to aid in stacking the win column. If PSU, UM, tOSU, USC, UW, Oregon, et al, played each other every year, there would be a lot of cannibalizing and hurting chances of making playoff. Let's recognize the need for "team" play and try and lift each other. A strong conference isn't needed for pro league, but I think a strong conference is mandatory in college. Especially when deciding who makes playoffs is often so subjective.
  25. Ill never believe a super conference will ever come to fruition? Lets be clear, these teams want to shine, but they relish in getting the easy victory. A super conference in the NCAA would produce a ton of 7-5 or 6-6 teams. These super schools need the mid tier to low bottom feeders to pat themselves on the back after dominant wins.
  26. I guess he wanted to go where he had a chance to prove he can still be an all- American. But seriously, I do wish he well in his steppingstone journey
  27. If we can keep distributing game reps to between 70-80 players, it becomes the equivalent of a moderate practice, and we don't need no stinking recovery time. I'm only half joking. Our depth does mitigate this disadvantage tremendously.
