  2. Did you say... teach? What is this Mysterious Mind Game you speak of? That' would be like Mario learning to develop talented players to have more iphysicality...
  3. Stepping stone? i think not. Until Beavis begins some semblance of winning on a consistent basis, that job will be more like a milestone, around a a coaches neck... or maybe a curb stone to get stomped on.
  4. Some choice quotes from Beavis believers themselves. That’s like taking back your ex after they cheated on you, moved in with the person they were cheating on you with then you taking them back after things didn’t work out with the other one. My Beaver gear would be at goodwill. “Id rather wake up With my head sewn to the carpet…..”
  5. Ranking the top 10 frontcourts in college basketball: Florida, Purdue boast best post players in the nationGonzaga, Oregon among CBS Sports top 10 frontcourts in college basketball The teams with the ten best frontcourts in college hoops, unsurprisingly, might also be the ten best teams in the sport

  7. I’m not as sold as you are on Indiana. Time will tell, but Oregon was either out coached/played in the game or is overrated, IMO. Indiana does not have the resources or draw that some of the top football programs do. Cig could do much more at Penn State, Florida, et al (i.e., the ceiling is higher but so is the pressure to win). Even Oregon has had trouble recruiting elite high school offensive lineman under Coach Lanning and that is a requirement to win a national championship. As I mentioned, I hope he stays at Indiana but understand why he would leave, if his goal is to win a championship. He is up there in age, so time is not on his side.
  8. Nah. I drove by some construction workers the other day on the side of the road, who were wearing them…
  9. That’s like Joey Harrington at Oregon (without the picks). People remember him as “captain comeback” but forgot how mediocre he usually played until the second half/4th quarter (even he has admitted as such). There were obviously some exemptions like the Fiesta Bowl against Colorado.
  10. I too am living rent free in Jed Fisch’s head. It seems that he is obsessed with copying my furniture. I’ve had this couch for five years and his looks new.
  11. I’m hearing Harsin, Ed O, and Vigen from Montana State. It doesn’t really matter who they get. Beavis is G6 now which means they’re a stepping stone to a P4 job.
  12. Miami has a weird schedule. Their bye weeks only had one game separating them (FSU). Now they have seven straight weeks of football. Oregon dealt with this last year. I think it was eight weeks they went between bye weeks. It makes recovering from injuries pretty difficult. Coming off a bye week isn’t always optimal for a program that has gotten into a rhythm. Before last night, Miami had only played one game since September 20th, so that might have had something to do with their play. Also, Louisville had a great plan.
  13. My favorite Mari Cristbal post-game face:
  14. Tough luck Mario. Better luck next time against (checks notes) um... Stanford.
  15. The Duck has that Husky at every corner. Their only hope is to get Lanning hooked on Starbucks.
  16. A regular Pete Carroll moment...
  17. You're at home with a good FG kicker in chip shot range and a QB who has already thrown 3 picks. Run the ball. Tie the game up and go to OT. Amen on a bogus + roughing the passer call. However, Beck did a fine job of roughing himself up tonight. The QB who tied for the lead in INTs in the SEC last season showed up tonight. Jeff Brohm knows the Big Ten from his time at Purdue. Jeff has recruited in the Midwest and recruited well, with nowhere close to Penn State's resources. He's also an excellent portal picker. PSU hiring Brohm would not be a Headline Hire. But, with fewer resources than the opposition, like Cig, Jeff Brohm wins football games. Since his return to the ACC, Brohm has more conference wins than any other ACC coach, including Dabo and Mari-Oh-Oh. If Duke defeats Georgia Tech later today, the ACC could be 1 conference champ and PO done.
