  2. Oregon opens as a slight underdog for road game at No. 2 Penn State The Ducks will be an underdog for the first time this season when they travel to Penn State for a week five Top 10 matchup.
  3. Today
  4. “[Dabo] Swinney is the second highest-paid coach in college football at $11.1 million, according to USA TODAY Sports.” If Dabo is going to accept his extremely high compensation then he needs to deliver. As other have said, he has not adjusted to the current college football landscape and the game appears to be passing him by.
  5. The one drive OSU scored it looked quite bad. I will say the Ducks turned around and made a point to take the run away. Right now we are all pursuing end of season perfection. Though we are not yet at the end of the season... Or even halfway.
  6. I think we were all saying the same thing last year before Ohio State. The Ducks stepped up and took out a team that was better than us. Dan might be a master motivator but outside of ok State we haven't seen our Ducks play with their peek intensity yet. Yes, ok State is a very bad team but the Ducks came out ready to dominate them and they did. Haven't quite seen that fire out of them yet. I will say this.... The Oregon offense has looked much better than last year's.
  7. Oregon State had 147 yards of total offense. 67 rushing yards. And folks are saying we had poor run defense and need to play better. Hmmmmmm
  8. I'm not sold on them. How many missed tackles did osu have? Plus, Purdue handed them that game with TOs, a pick 6 for 70 yds and an int in the endzone.
  9. Their offense is good. Their defense is giving up close to three TD’S a game. Although, I think Michigan State’s offense is much improved from last season.
  10. I think the coaching chess match between PSU and Oregon already started. PSU has been vanilla on offense. I also feel like Oregon gave PSU even less to look at this week than prior weeks. I even think Mixon hardly playing was our attempt to get PSU to forget about him so he can give Allar serious trouble. I feel like this will be a game that if you could repeat it multiple times you could get very different results. We'll play the game and players are going do what they do good or bad. Mistakes from the less experienced players are going to happen. Stein has to bring a plan that can succeed against Knowles' typical approach to suffocating our efficient short game. Lupoi has to do something different to shore up the run defense enough to get PSU off the field. I mean load up the box and force Allar and his WRs to beat our secondary consistently.
  11. Mario pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat yesterday. Don’t worry. Miami will lose to an unranked team at some point. It’s a given.
  12. I wonder if Dallas Wilson is regretting that decision to flip to Florida right about now. His QB can’t complete a forward pass, the team is 1-3, and the coach is about to get fired. Meanwhile, at Oregon…….
  13. So.... After struggling to beat Florida for most of the game, suddenly Miami is the best team in the country? 🤔 I just don't see it. ESPN.comProjecting the CFP top 12 after Week 4: There's a new No. 1We assess how the committee could stack the top teams in the country after Week 4.
  14. Oregon Ducks Quarterback Dante Moore Reaches Career Highs In Big Win Over Oregon State Oregon Ducks' quarterback Dante Moore had one of the best games of the season in the Ducks 41-7 win over the Oregon State Beavers. Moore threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns for the first time in his career the win over Oregon's in-state rivals. 15. Key Points: The Oregon Ducks defeated the Oregon State Beavers 41-7, improving their record to 4-0. Despite the blowout win, the Ducks had a slow start, with the score tied 7-7 after the first quarter. Linebacker Bryce Boettcher had a standout performance with 10 tackles against the rival Beavers. Oregon's defense held Oregon State's passing offense to just 68 yards. The Ducks now turn their attention to a Week 5 road game against the No. 2 Penn State Nitt 7 takeaways from Oregon Ducks' 41-7 win over Oregon State Beavers
  16. When asked by reporters when the Ducks would turn their focus to the Nittany Lions, he told reporters, “The switch is already flipped.” 'The switch has flipped;' Dan Lanning, Oregon Ducks looking ahead to Penn State
  17. Oregon excited and ready for the week ahead in preperation for No. 2 Penn State The Oregon Ducks will see a drastically different opponent this coming weekend as they travel to No. 2 Penn State. The Ducks say they're excited about the preparation that will come with the game.

  19. Flock Talk: The Beat Goes On The Bye-Week Narrative As always, attention shifts to perceived advantages. Penn State gets the luxury of a bye this week, while Oregon hosts a reeling Oregon State squad. The question practically writes itself: does the Nittany Lions’ off week give them an edge? 20. We are not performing well against genuinely weak teams. The Beavs? Montana State? Northwestern? And a somewhat crippled Oklahoma State? There's a real test ahead at Happy Valley. And Indiana is no slouch either, based on how they handled Illinois. Unless our defense can stop the run and our offense can run the ball against strong defensive teams, this is not going to be an easy schedule to navigate successfully.

  24. This adds a whole new wrinkle to my travel plans. I was going to show up in the afternoon. Now I’m thinking about showing up before 9:00 AM. For those who have been to this show when it has come to Autzen, is it worth the effort to see it?

  26. I think you guys won't have to worry about a replacement anytime soon. The Not For Long league doesn't have the same security as college does. Urban Meyer found that out. Jim Harbaugh was an NFL guy first. But if you did need a dude I as a Gator wouldn't want to see Fran with the talent and resources at Georgia. Maybe he can be our next head coach once Billy is gone. I know a QB prospect that could use the development he gave Kyle McCord.
  27. UW will not be ranked when we play them. I'm a main voter in the Reddit College Football Poll, and I certainly do not have Washington ranked. Or Notre Dame. I do have USC ranked at about 20th, though. The Oregon Ducks? I moved them to #1 for Week 5 after today's results. Penn State stays at #4.
