  2. There was a new article out on The Athletic, where they give their predictions on the 'Natty, with their entire staff voting on it. Oregon is not even in the running for the 'Natty? Huh. Looks like some see Oregon like the past....

  10. Hummm, battle still on? Oregon's QB battle starting to shake itself out in the final days before game week
  11. I surmise like most of you that Dante Moore will get the start. I also expect the team will know going into next week's practice as it is game week and the starter will need reps with the 1's. Not naming a starter publicly says 2 things to me: Both Austin and Dante are ready to lead this team DL is respecting both players right to the end of fall practice. This should be a fun year!

  13. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore signs with Beats by Dre as part of 2025 'Beats Elite' class Oregon quarterback Dante Moore signs with Beats by Dre
  14. I just watched that this morning. Yogi also said Lanning would announce on August 30th, so game day. The other interesting thing I noticed from the B-roll video is Moore's body language is waaay more confident than Novasad's. I think like most, we will probably not here anything until just before the game starts and it will be Moore. Next question will be if makes sense for QB2, who is in the same eligibility class as QB1, to stick around for the season. There is no future here for QB2 outside of an injury to QB1.
  15. Oregon football needs new stars on offense this season Who are the most pivotal players?
  16. If Oregon can’t beat Montana State with their second or third string QB, I would be concerned about this season.
  17. Moore worked diligently with coach Love, improving his speed time as well.
  18. Google Chrome, Safari, Duck Duck Go all work for me. I believe Charles mentioned if you have an issue try using "New Private Window” for Safari, “New Incognito Window” for Google Chrome, and “New Fire Window” for Duck Duck Go.
  19. So much if the Lanning culture is about competition. I agree that barring injury it's Moore's job. He probably knows it as well. But Lanning won't crown him starting QB, even after he starts a game. Lanning wants him to earn it every single day and week.

  21. OBD's 2nd opponent in 2025 comes out of the B12. However, one of the Cowboys starting safeties, one of the top transfers to Oklahoma State coming to Stillwater from Miami, will be missing in action in Week 2. It's not just the Dallas Cowboys with troubles at the top of the organization. https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/football/2025/08/19/oregon-ducks-week-2-opponent-makes-big-roster-move-prior-2025-season/85719477007/?utm_source=smg-duckswire-strada&utm_medium=ema
  22. Alex, great article as usual. I think the only way the Ducks floor is lower than 10-2 is if they are snake-bit by injuries. If Dante is comfortable running the offense by the time they head to Penn State, I think the game will be electric. We all have to remember that this is only the 2nd time that this staff has had a QB that has been in the system for more than a year. The last time that happened Bo Nix was a Heisman finalist. If he stays healthy, this season will be special. GO DUCKS!!!
  23. I don’t think there’s any controversy. Seems pretty common for coaches to be coy when replacing a starter. Also, in the transfer age, probably strategic to call it an open competition as long as possible. I do remember a large percentage of people clamoring for “not Nix” when he transferred in. We’re fine, barring injury, it’s Moore.
  24. Dante must feel like he was Custer and suddenly became Eisenhower. That UCLA O line was like playing behind a slice of Swiss cheese.
  25. On the Big Ten Network's tour of Fall camps, BTN's Yogi Roth opined that the job is Dante's, and in practice, he looked like he would be one of the top QBs in the conference and also in the nation. It didn't sound like he was blowing smoke as a talking head. Roth was more effusive in his praise of Moore than any other player on the stops he's made on the tour. Following his mentors, Saint Nick and Kirby, Dan Lanning likes to keep things close to his vest. Which newbie QB will reach the highest plateau at Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas, among others in The Season of the Which? The wait is almost over. 😊
  26. Our Oregon football team has had a great offseason overall, but there’s a lot more question marks in the air from fans and writers around the sport that are hesitant to buy stock Of Oregon’s new starting quarterback: Dante Moore. Even ol’ Mr. FishDuck took a break from his gaming fun at MLB betting picks to give me his take on ... Oregon Football: Expectations of Dante Moore
  27. Dante Moore’s tape looks solid to me. Quick release and can throw downfield with accuracy. I have confidence that he is a good fit for our offense. Solid review by this guy.
