  2. Like @idontrollonshobbas said, I don't even recall hearing about him committing to the Ducks. That said, I do miss a few things here and there. Likewise, I think I share the same sentiment as many. He was a 2027 commit anyway ... and a WR. SWSWSW His decommitting could be to facilitate a search for a larger bag, staying closer to home, still really fickle and no real buy in on the Ducks, or it could also be he is thinking he might have to compete a lot harder in Eugene for a WR1 or WR2 spot. Not saying that this his thought process, but if the shoe fits ... it reminds me of an old Ziglar quote, "if you think you are indispensable, put your finger in a bowl of water and then pull it out and see how long the hole lasts."
  3. A ton of very good games today to keep an eye on...
  4. Funny, but it WAS found in a closet at Mac Court...
  5. oregonliveOregon State Beavers mailbag: Is it time to abandon footb...Some spice and cynicism in the reader questions this week.https://www.oklahoman.com/story/sports/college/cowboys/2025/09/19/oklahoma-state-tulsa-game-score-updates-highlights-college-football/86243196007/ I watched the condensed version of the Tulsa game. The score does not reflect how much Tulsa dominated OSU. I knew they were bad, but they are worse than bad. Getting embarrassed by your runt little bro at home for the first time in 70 years is next level down stuff. I don't expect Gundy to survive the weekend let alone the week.

  7. Any commitment from a player that has never even visited the campus is about as firm as a bowl full of Jell-O.
  8. The Platypus Trophy keeps disappearing only to turn up again. I'm not a fan of this trophy, so hope that it gets stashed in some closet where no one finds it for a 100 years. 😉
  9. Ducks win big in this one 73-06 3 4 326
  10. Last time I did one of these I only predicted the Ducks would win by like twenty over another OSU, but that one was actually P4. Not to be confused with tOSU, the one in your conference. But this OSU is G6. They are terrible and Oregon has every reason to want to blow them out. My only concern is they might take the foot off the gas pedal because of the game next week. So I would pick a larger margin if I didn't feel Lanning wants to get his guys some rest heading into next week. Oregon goes up 42-0 in the first half. Dan puts in his backups and the Ducks end up winning 63-13. Beavis turns it over three times. The Ducks sack the Beavis QB four times. The Ducks pass for three hundred and ninety nine yards.
  11. GoDucks writer Rob Moseley gives 5 things to watch for during the game against Oregon State. University of Oregon Athletics5 Things To Watch: Oregon State - University of Oregon At...The Ducks host the Beavers in Autzen Stadium on Saturday (noon, Big Ten Network).
  12. I've never known the game as anything other than the civil war and never did see the connection to the carnage of 1861-1865. And truly, I know it is a rivalry game but if the 19th century civil war had been as one-sided as this year's game appears to be, it would have been over after the first battle of Bull Run (and there would have been no second).
  13. Ducks win 54 to minus 7 (Beavers so bad they score a negative touchdown) 2 TO 3 Sacks 179 pass yards
  14. 2027, and receiver? No problem...
  15. Rutgers looks smaller on defense, but has a pretty accurate QB. Iowa is rounding into form, but not many play-makers, IMHO.
  16. What I have learned from this thread is that the talking head experts know just about as much, or less, than anyone else.
  17. I have to admit this is news to me......his former commitment, I mean. Next man up.
  18. John Canzano....leading from behind since forever. Imagine being replaced by Aaron Fentress.
  19. Iowa up 38-28 after a pick and a couple of scores. Looks like the Hawkeyes will pull it off. OBD just has to play their game against both of these teams and they'll be fine, even on the road
  20. I don’t really follow Iowa football but man they really don’t seem to have any horses on offense… like at all.
  21. Oregon 52-7 2 TOs 4 sacks 245 yards passing
  22. A war? This is going to be like a fight between a yokuzuna sumo and a one hundred pound bookkeeper who thinks he can compete because he watched Dragonball on cartoon Network.
