  2. More central, but close Jon. I don't claim Miami or Tallahassee ( even if I did attend college at the latter). John Candy is a very underrated comedic genius imo. I enjoyed his subtle facial expressions over Sam Kinnison, or Chris Farley. Like John, I think a more subtle personality like DeBoer would thrive at Penn State. They have high expectations, but it's not at the fevered pitch of an SEC madhouse like Tuscaloosa. Seriously, people want him on the hot seat after losing to Oklahoma. They think it's a given that whoever is the coach at Alabama, should win a title every other year. They tend to forget what life was like before Saban. Just like LSU folks tend to forget that before Saban won a title in '03(split with USC) that they hadn't ever won a legitimate National Title. The SEC tends to live in a tiny bubble. They refuse to see that the perceived superiority is nothing but an ESPN illusion. There's a reason why Lane Kiffin isn't signing an extension like Cignetti or Elko. Ole Miss is running at it's optimum. It's not sustainable. They don't have the real money, or resources to maintain the level they are at. Eventually the transfer cushion will deflate, and Ole Miss will fall back on their thirty first rated classes. At LSU, you have a situation involving all matters of madness. At Florida, there isn't a school president currently, and many top boosters want Stricklin gone. I personally would sign a LeBron James deal if I were Lane. But he's likely looking at this as his moment to be the top name. Next year his team could lose five games and he's an afterthought.

  4. I didn't realize Cristobal was THAT good.
  5. I think Dak is the only one that is a maybe to play. Pretty sure Stewart is out ... might get him for a playoff game if we are lucky. Gary Bryant is probably out for another week at least.
  6. Washington Waddler, Ducks must make sure it is OBDs' offensive and defensive pressure on the USC pipes that breaks those USC offensive and defensive pipes. ;-)) It is so much fun and enjoyable to defeat the Trojans; it is not either one to lose to them; it stings! VR, KCDuck1
  7. Who knew that a win over Bama would lead to a seminal fall? NC State 21 - FSU 11. Will 5-6 FSU Swamp the Gators and go bowling?
  8. Yes, some good stuff here. Particularly liked the take of Oregon’s defense on USC’s offense: “pressure breaks pipes”.
  9. Between IPAs, the results of B1G and Big games will be updated. Taking a Week 13 Nap - No. 2 Indiana, prepping for a test at Poor Doo. No. 5 Texas Tech, waiting to do battle with a guy once known as Rich Rod. No. 6 Ole Miss, walking on head coach eggshells and hoping not to break an egg in Stark-Vegas. No. 19 Virginia, waiting on a visit from a VA Tech team that will have to wait a year to see if its investment of all those Franklins in Franklin will pay off. Might as well be taking a nap. No. 3 Texas A&M -54.5 (!!!) vs. Sam's Ford Dealership. Attention, Mascot Reveille - You can run. And you can hide. Congratulations on being a good doggy and dodging (sorry, Sam's Ford) No. 4 Georgia, No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 10 Alabama, No. 14 Vanderbilt, and No. 20 Tennessee. But you can't run from Bevo and a game against Heisman front-runner Golden Archie. Right? No. 5 Georgia -43.5 vs. (Frankly, My Dear,) Charlotte, (I don't give a damn about this game.) Scarlett's body bag would have cost a couple of million more. 🤑Compared to A&M, this game is a throw, er, toss-up.🤮 No. 10 Alabama -50.5 vs. Eastern Illinois - A perfect OOC game for Kalen and Penn State next season? We finally found an Ill wind that blows totally, completely, undoubtedly, and absolutely no good. Warning: Fans attending these SEC 'games' will not register on The Get a Life Meter. See you tomorrow, goodness willing, and my stock of IPAs don't run dry. Go Ducks! Ruin the life of Riley. 😁
