  2. W = Oregon Score = 41 - 16 OSU has a good kicker so I think they could get one TD and 3 FGs - Ducks get 5 TDs and 2 FGs TO = 3 OSU has a new QB, good OL, good WRs and probably a weak running game - which should be a good opportunity for some TOs Sacks = 3 OSU has a new QB Passing = 243 Last week run/pass was even AND OSU has a new DC with improved run/pass defenses over last year (at least against UT Martin, anyway)

  4. What 15, 16, or 17 year old dreams of going to Alabama for any other reason than getting to the NFL? There is absolutely nothing else in that state. No big cities, no tourist attractions, and no commerce beyond your local Piggly Wiggly. I can tell you that no kid would leave the state of Florida or Texas to move to Alabama for any reason unless it's military or college football oriented. It's not like Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, or Mississippi State have great learning institutions either. They all rate in the 100's of public universities, nowhere close to those of any B1G program outside of Nebraska. Nick Saban is still towing the company line, I mean he works at ESPN. He doesn't honestly believe Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Michigan haven't been recruiting and performing better than most SEC programs before NIL was even a thing. Stop sniffing the rat poison Nick. Alabama is in for a rude awakening once a few years pass and the high school kids that know only of the Saban era all age out. Alabama doesn't have the NIL, they don't have the backyard of in state kids, and they don't have anything to draw kids out of Florida or Texas once Alabama isn't a championship contender every year. AJ McCarron pointed all these things out in a recent interview. It's why they can't just fire a guy and eat the 70 million and hire another top guy with another guaranteed 100 million. Alabama has a blue chip ratio of like 85 or 90 percent. That's unheard of, but they've been in the top 3 recruiting classes for fifteen plus years now. That number was going to drop regardless due to NIL, Nick knew it and left before even he couldn't maintain the crazy expectations at Bama. To me it sounds like he is a little bitter, which shocks me. The guy is the greatest of all time. He dominated the game like nobody else, but I guess that ego might have been a key to his success. Just like Belichick, a man with 6 Super Bowls but also a man desperate to prove he can win something without Tom Brady.
  5. I’ll just leave this right here for everybody’s viewing pleasure.

  7. Proud founding member of the world's largest club!!!
  8. You know the joy...that it is football season again, and tomorrow is a whole slate of games to watch! I thumb through Jon Joseph's guide, and I point and say, "I'll watch that, and that one, and record that one during the Ducks game..." It is fun and glorious time again, and I just LOVE the feelings on Friday. Yeah, there is NO fool, like an old fool, but damn...knowing how much good football is on tomorrow makes me giddy as a kid.
  9. I live in San Diego now and was watching the high school football players running around. For those that don't know August is the only time of year it gets truly hot and humid, yuk. And with pads and a helmet, I don't know how they can see with all the sweat running down into their eyes. I can imagine the Southeast being way worse is NOT a fun place to play football.
  10. It's quite exceptional that Saban actually believed that he could sell such total horse crap to the college football community. The fear is strong in this one... and rightfully so.
  11. Those are some excellent lyrics. And I love the nod to the Beach Boys.

  13. When in comes to SEC homers and apologists, they never address the "elephant" (ya, Mr. Saban, that's you) shadow in the room. Historically, those schools paid better than anywhere else in the country, so of course the home grown players stayed there as well as having a long reach w/ other recruits. But a funny thing happened on the way to the "lithia dodge/jeep of Tuscaloosa". In today's day and age where we seeing equal footing in the NIL arena, maybe it's a case of a lot of good ole southern cooking isn't what 17 year old's want and maybe never really did as more and more electing to go elsewhere. Visiting the U of O and experiencing game day at Autzen is really all that and a bag of chips....add everything else Oregon has to offer, not to mention Michigan, ohio state and Penn St and I think we're seeing a lot of kids being able to justify getting he hell out of SEC country. Loving the upward trajectory and reach of Duck recruiting. And saint Saban might just be sour graping the consequences of not always having a huge advantage over others. Welcome to the side of the fence where "The Grass is Damn Green" here, and routinely watered and fertilized.
  14. Oregon Ducks Receive Surprising Ranking from College Football AnalystThe Oregon Ducks are now preparing for a bout with the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Autzen Stadium in week No. 2. The Oregon Ducks are currently ranked at No. 6 according to the AP Top 25 Poll, but with more analysts making their own top-25, where do the Ducks really stand against the rest of the country? Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Ducks Receive Surprising Ranking from College Foot...The No. 6 Oregon Ducks' 2025 college football season got off to a great start in week 1 when they defeated Montana State 59-13. 15. It's the Little Saint Nick, you don't know what you had, You had a comptition edge but now DeBoer's on the floor, And the Tide rolled out when a Seminole roared, And if that ain't enough to make flip your lid, Here's One More Thing: DeBoer ain't winning a Natty. 😁 People should make note of their Experation Date.
  16. 58-15 Ducks 3 to 3 sacks 258 yards
  17. He needs a cold shower, but keep to five minutes.
  18. "Dream on St. Nick" Nick Saban co-owns nine dealerships as part of Dream Motor Group. These include seven Mercedes-Benz dealerships, one Ferrari dealership, and one Infiniti dealership, located in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas. Headquarters Hoover, Alabama. He claims that he is pretty hands off on the business, and lets his partner run it. As a control freak that he is, I can't imagine. But, it may have helped in his primary recruiting territory: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas...:)
  19. Good call Charles. Which one is Saban again ....... Beavis or Butthead? Are Saban and Sankey brothers? They whine alot and sure pedal loads of BS!
  20. Remember he didn't like our fast paced, no huddle offense either. No one like change or adaptations that take away your advantage. Now that everyone can pay players above board, the SEC has no advantage. The degree programs are pretty much all better in B1G schools as they are all AAU members. Dream on st Nick.
  21. There used to be a thread of players and their cars (from years ago) under Saban, and it went 30-40 players deep before I got tired/angry of seeing them. This was long before NIL, and now he acts sanctimonious before the media?
  22. Oregon 38-15 1 TO 233,498 Sacks 186 yds passing
  23. God love you TerryM9, as I LOVE seeing your score every time. I just made a new rule to "lock-in" that score for you every time!
