Get By Indiana and the Schedule is Favorable for OBD
The B1G schedules run from 2024 through 2028. On paper, 2025 is OBD's most favorable schedule. On3 acknowledges the Ducks have a relatively easy flight path for the remainder of the 2025 season. But you never know when a team with a new Skipper will show up and play like a Neu team. 😁 Rutgers is in Seattle Friday night, playing UW. An extra day to prepare for OBD's visit a week from Saturday. Trap? For those who believe Miami is the real deal this season, Miami's path to the playoffs is far from daunting, and Miami, again on paper, has the chance to host its first playoff game and the championship game in its 'home' stadium. Georgia Tech also has a relatively easy path to the ACC champ game, where GT could Wreck Miami's title plans. Please! Nine SEC teams in the Top 25. How many finish 10-2 or better, and will any 3-loss teams be in the field in 2025-26? Go Ducks! Put Out That Cig! On3Path to the College Football Playoff: Toughest and easies...It's moving month in college football, as these next four weeks will help determine the real College Football Playoff contenders.

Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
The uniform combinations are actually decided in the Spring. Below is an excerpt from an ESPN article about the subject. "Once players have finalized their choices with Farr's assistance, he will lay out the scripting in a look book and show head coach Dan Lanning before the spring game for approval. Finalizing the looks well in advance of the season helps Farr organize the high volume of inventory he has to line up. Going off-script is rare, but not impossible. Two years ago, with undefeated Colorado visiting for a highly anticipated matchup, the Ducks changed to a different uniform combination." Former Huskies at the Heart of the North Carolina Locker Room Rot?
A fish stinks from the head. Billy - Tommy = Nudge, Nada, Nyet, Nulla, and a Nothing and Neutered North Carolina. 🤮 This has been a PR disaster from Day One. UNC football was marginal in a bad conference, and now it is a nationwide punchline. I'm not surprised that guys who played under DeBoer and won many close games at UW are not happy. Would any knowledgeable person who looked at Belichick's record without Tommy hand him $10 million a year, along with a nepotism nesting place? I had doubts in the preseason about Clemson, Penn State, and Texas. In fairness, I also had doubts about how Dante Moore and a close to entirely new offense and defense would perform for Danno. I had no doubt, even without the giddy girlfriend side show, that Billy and his boys, and Bill's boy, GM Lombardi, would crash and burn in Chapel Hill. Compare this disaster to what an unknown Cignetti has brought to Indiana. You're right, there is no comparison to a grump who is still a grump compared to a little-known guy who arrived with a chip on his shoulder, winning experience in college football, leadership skills, and a caseload of charisma. Point the finger nowhere but at the UNC trustees, AD, and the leader of the 33rd NFL team. Trying to lay this stuff off on transfers from UW is male bovine excrement. Thanks, Steven A, I feel much better now. 🤪

Does This All But Guarantee Dante Moore Returns to Oregon Next Season?
I agree with the general premise of this, but I think he'd be ok with 2 of the 4 teams you mentioned he should avoid. Go to a team that has an offensive minded head coach: Bears and Browns. Avoid the teams with defensive head coaches: Jets and Raiders. The Raiders are a team that would be awesome to resurrect from the ashes. Great brand and history (80's / 90's / early 2000's). If only the Raiders could get an offensive genius HC.

I'm 56 (will be 57 sooner than I like to admit) and I also think OBD's drip for this game is on fire!

Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
I really like the black uniforms . . . but I like them most for night games, not mid-day games.

Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
Going to go ahead and say I think those are sharp, but then again, I’m only 55 😉 As to the stormtrooper unis at PSU, I thought that would be cool too, but there may also have been some thought about having uniforms that contrast well with the sea of white in the background. (David Marsh beat me to the punch)
-
Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
I think they opted against stormtrooper v PSU because they wanted some contrasting colors against the all white backdrop. Stormtrooper all white with an all white backdrop might have been a bit much. It would have been really cool no doubt.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
Early in the year when the weather is warm/dry enough we can all wear the color of the week easily. But when it gets cold and/or rainy, that's different. I don't have jackets in all the possible colors, so I do my best, wearing yellow under whatever outwear I need for the game.
-
Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
Methinks the rain is going to hamper the yellow-out, as fans layer up.
-
Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
For whatever reason, the equipment room does not seem to favor matching pants and tops these days. I personally was hoping we'd go storm trooper at PSU.

If it Never Rains in Autzen Stadium . . .
This is why “the grass is damn green in Eugene”. Ducks thrive in the rain. Go Ducks.

"... say that UNC football's losses are a product of a divided locker room, a disorganized coaching staff and a failure to communicate." Sounds like Cool Hand Luke is in the building (don't miss the car wash scene). Former UW football members at center of Belichick mess at UNC

Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
"Just win baby win", I do not care what it looks like. . . unless it is those retro blue ones v ewe dub years ago (the unis fortunately erased the score from my brain) and the all banana yellow ones from the early 2000's.
-
Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
This is the key phrase right here. You can wear an old dirt brown and yellow shirt from the Mario era as long as you show up instead of selling your tickets to opposing fans. The amount of Ohio State fans at Autzen last year was pretty bad.
-
Uniform Reveal for Indiana Game...'Whatever!'
This goes back to my complaint about the generation O uniform collection we're running. It has two different color pallets... A retro and a modern. There isn't a green top in the modern color palette. There is the highlighter yellow though and that was the uniform I was expecting with the crowd wearing yellow.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
Yellow in the stands really shows up the best on tv.
-
Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
I agree with you about wearing yellow to show unity. The “lightning strikes” game against Michigan was the first time I remembered that happening and it looked amazing in person, on TV and in pictures. They were also selling cheap, non-branded “lightning strikes” T-shirts (~$10) for the game which probably helped. Unfortunately there are too many stubborn Duck fans (“I will wear what I want to wear.”). I completely disagree with your comment about the Penn State game. My wife and I could not understand why Duck fans would wear white. The “white out” was for the benefit and support of Penn State not Oregon, and our AD asked our fans to wear green. But I digress. If you are going to the game on Saturday please wear yellow. The bookstore and stores will probably sell yellow ponchos, if it is raining.

Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
South Carolina does this. They have white towels with the home and opposing team logos printed on them that they give out before every game. Of course, they have to uphold their reputation for having the wildest pre-game opening with the playing of "Sandstorm". Those towels play a huge part in the overall atmosphere throughout the game. To think that the towel waving craze started in the 70's when a bunch of drunken yokels from Pittsburgh raided their own linen closets at the suggestion of Myron Cope.
