B1G Ten Baseball Results From Week One
Thanks for posting this sports fan, and giving us perspective on the conference. We will still have a tough series with Beavis, and this alerts us to a tough Michigan trip. We also have a tough trip to UC San Diego, as the not only took a game from UCLA, but the Bruins are ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the nation in most polls. And yep...the Huskies are coming out of the gate slow, but they will play their best against us when we have to visit them. Great stuff, and thanks again for posting.

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
As a tight end Sadiq wasn't going to be a full time receiver but also a blocker. Sadiq was used in so many different ways this seasons but a lot of his plays were also him just blocking. Sure he had some spectacular games as a receiver and some amazing plays but tight ends spend a whole lot of time blocking. Also Sadiq was banged up for a good 3ish weeks in there. He disappeared in the first Indiana game because of injury. Against Washington Sadiq was targeted a lot but he dropped a TON of passes that game. Against Texas Tech he got a lot of targets early but Johnson started to get open more as teams keyed in on Sadiq.

B1G Ten Baseball Results From Week One
Taking a quick look at some of the games played this past weekend. The Indiana Hoosiers, who are expected to be a challenge this season, lost all three games to a ranked North Carolina team. The games were played in Chapel Hill. USC won all three and UCLA went 2-1, losing a close one to U.C. San Diego. Although the Michigan Wolverines aren't expected to be much of a threat, they played well, winning against Arizona, Stanford and split a two-game series with the Rodents of Corn Valley. The Ducks play Michigan at Ann Arbor the first week of April. And I have saved the best for last. The Leg Lifters LOST all four games this past weekend in Puerto Rico. Here are the results: North Carolina St. 13 Washington 0 Wake Forest 5 Washington 0 Boston College 10 Washington 0 Houston 8 Washington 7

Perhaps Justin Herbert? Who would have guessed he'd be the second coming of Dan Fouts in the NFL after the way he was underutilized in college? But hey, he learned how to be physical and fight in a phone booth under MC!

Oregon Looking to Flip Quarterback Recruit From the SECThe Oregon Ducks are targeting a quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class, but will need to flip him from a notable SEC team in order to secure a commitment. It's no secret that in this age of recruiting, a verbal commitment often means little, so the Ducks will certainly be doing their due diligence regardless of a player's commitment status. Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Looking to Flip Quarterback Recruit From the SECThe Oregon Ducks have retooled their roster for 2026 out of the transfer portal this offseason, and it appears the dust has settled in that regard. And if you really want to pile on, two of the teams (CSU and USU) ranked ahead of them also replaced their coaches the same week as Beavis…so they can’t even hang their hats on the new coach starting late in the cycle. I might start to feel sorry for them when this coach doesn’t work out like they thought.

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Could probably throw 2003 Igor Olshanski and Junior Siavii in there? Igor went 2nd round with the 3rd pick to San Diego and Junior 2nd round with the 4th pick to Kansas City. Haloti Ngata (1st/12th) had been set to start at one DT spot, before being lost for the season in the first quarter of game one. That I guess would technically be 3 top 36 NFL draft picks on the same front? Harmond (1st/21st), Burch (3rd/78th) and Caldwell (3rd/86th) also pretty good.

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Excellent picks, David! Jamari Johnson and Evan Stewart are pretty obvious candidates for stand-out seasons. Both of those guys have already shown game-breaking skillsets. I'm excited to see them both, and our other stellar receivers rack up big yards and tons of TD's this coming season.
