  2. Oregon Fans Will Love What Tosh Lupoi Said About Dan LanningFormer Oregon Ducks defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi is the new coach of the Cal Bears. Lupoi returns home to the Bay Area after playing for the Bears from 2000-05. In his opening press conference, Lupoi didn't hold back on Oregon coach Dan Lanning and explained the process of leaving the Ducks. Lupoi's plan is to return to Eugene to game plan for the playoff while simultaneously build his staff with the Bears. Lupoi said that he had already interviewed three candidates for positions on his staff. However, Lupoi made is very clear that the Ducks in the playoff will not be pushed to the side. “Over my dead body would I be walking out on the young men in this organization, if given the choice. And so I’m gonna finish what we’ve started there," Lupoi said. “Ultimately, having this opportunity to go coach in the playoffs, yet again, is gonna be one of the most driving forces for us in our success,” Lupoi said. ” … Every waking second of my life will be devoted to the success of this organization, when I’m away from game planning the opponent that we’ll learn come this Sunday, I believe at 10:30 a.m. …
So, I’m gonna have my duties, just as if I was representing this program and if I was leaving." Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Answers Defensive Coordinator Question After Tosh...The Oregon Ducks are expected to name Chris Hampton their next defensive coordinator as reported by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. Hampton will be replacing former
  3. Campbell, like Kiffin, is no longer in a place that’s happy to have him. He’s in a place that thinks he’s fortunate they hired him. It’s playoff or bust for both.

  5. Recruiting is a BIG plus for Oregon! Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Ducks Coaches Make Big Moves in New Recruiter Rank...Coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks officially signed all of their commits on National Signing Day without losing any recruits to any flips. The Ducks were i
  6. I can't see why he hasn't connected with his first 100 targets🥸. Oddly enough, those loons in Happy Valley like him more. He showed some 🔥. Well you know what they say about playing with 🔥. Good luck Matt Campbell.
  7. Why doesn't Penn State just go after Willie Taggart??? Why not? They don't want a good coach with integrity. We just saw that. If Campbell does go to Penn St, he just might be the next Willie Taggart. Penn St and LSU are the two worst coaching openings out there. Why? Because they are expected to be like Ohio ST and Alabama, but are more like Washington or Tennessee. No way anybody can succeed there. Get paid and get bood and get kicked out and take a money bag with you. You get rich but lose all respect and your career is in the trash and your name is mud. You know who might do well at Penn St AND be very dangerous... Chip Kelly. Think about it. He was great at Oregon with Oregon's reputation, recruiting and resources. He couldn't wake up a dead body at UCLA, but nobody else could either. Chip guided Ohio St to a championship as OC. He can still coach. You put a Chip Kelly offense with Penn State's defense and linemen and athletes, you have a team that can compete with the big boys.
  8. I am more excited about Jalen Lott. What a top speed athlete. Henry might end up being like Kyler Kasper. What bothers me the most is losing a Matre Dei kid to east of the Rockies. Time to get some more D linemen
  9. Interesting story here about Tulane's QB. And, by the way, former Duck Ty Thompson is still on the Tulane roster, but as a TE, no longer a QB. He has played sparingly this season. Thompson was regarded as a 5-star QB recruit in 2021. An interesting case study on player development, or lack thereof. Anyway, here is the link for Tulane's current QB who transferred from BYU: Jake Retzlaff, eyeing college football history, isn’t the...Across the country is Zevi Eckhaus, a Washington State quarterback who dons tefillin every morning, prays at the 18-yard line and hopes to set an example for Jewish fans
  10. Campbell seems like a coach that's good at getting more out of less. That sounds great until you run into a team that gets more out of more. Currently The BIG has three teams that fit that role (tOSU Mich, OBD). There's also another coach (Cig) that is excelling at getting more from less right now. Has Campbell brought in top twenty classes before? How about top ten? Without them PSU is setting themselves up to be another Nebraska, Illinois fuskies or SUC that are all fighting to be that fifth best team while still remaining nationally irrelevant. Also putting yourself squarely in the middle of Lanning's cross hairs for no good reason wasn't a smart move.
  11. I dunno. B1G has Indiana and Oregon now alongside Ohio State and Michigan. USC is on the rise, and who's to say Rutgers or some other B1G bottom dweller doesn't discover their long lost billionaire alumnus that can make them relevant for a playoff run in a hurry like Texas Tech.
  12. Hope Bama doesn't end up #5, with the Ducks at #4...
  13. I'm non plussed by Drew. It's like your best friend that every chick would die to be their girlfriend and instead he picks a girl that leaves a lot to be desired. You could have anybody! Why them? I hope to be proven wrong with Drew being successful, but I'm not feeling great about this.
  14. They are trying to scare the other players on the team away from doing something similar. It makes sense strategically if you ignore the fact you have to replace 100% of the players every 4 years and the new players will be too scared to sign. These types of NIL deals are DIRTY! The agents are just as dirty for not refusing to accept this condition in the contract that could ruin the life of a player he is representing. He's a minor and his family could lose their home, be bankrupted or other bad stuff. This is a PR disaster for Georgia. Who could have thought this is a good idea could only be wealthy NIL donors that have gotten rich by screwing over other people, it's how they roll in their backroom dealing and will be shocked at the backlash that comes of this.
  15. I believe Peyton committed to Oregon after winning the NCAA title last season... He is also the reigning Indoor Heptathlon champ.
  16. I still think this is a reactionary hire by the AD. I mean he couldn't figure out to hire this guy even a week ago to salvage some of the class? Matt's good like the row the boat man at Minnesota. They will be competitive in the B1G, nothing more.
  17. I am 90% positive that was the case for Hampton. Come to Oregon as the co-DC to become THE DC when Lupoi leaves. For Mehringer I am sure that was potentially part of the deal with bringing in Stein. He wasn't ready when Dilly left but he is probably ready now. I'll trust Lanning... Because what else am I going to do? Sit here and be mad about it? I'll probably just be proven wrong. I would also like to point out that a lot of people weren't too keen on Stein, a young up and comer from a G6 team... But he turned out pretty good.
  18. Wow, I'm going to stop watching this game. Everything that can go wrong for North Texas has gone wrong, BUT the referees have given Tulane 14 points straight up on blown calls that a blind man could see. They need to all be investigated. This is a big enough game to have some very large bets in Vegas. I really hope we get to play Tulane and smash the crap out of the team that didn't deserve to be there.
  19. Tulane Green Wave is putting the hurt on North Texas! Hope you didn’t have much on North Texas to win or cover JJ!
  20. But he looks like such a nice, fuzzy, warm-hearted, fun-loving guy. 🤪
  21. Well, at much as us "fur balls" are laughing it up, Penn State's downfall isn't great for the B1G. I will harp this until my dead hands grow cold: Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, the Fuskies, USC, and even Michigan State BETTER muscle up, because the B1G is falling behind when it comes to drawing eyeballs. That means mega dollars folks. I do not want anything near the disaster that became the WAC12. Ohio State was the only Big Ten program to draw 10M fans outside The Big Game. One week-that's all the B1G generated. That is not acceptable in my book. The B1G has an alum base that more than rivals the SEC, but it is getting its a$$ kicked when it comes to being compelling football the nation wants to watch. And I really don't care if football matters more in the South. Unless College Football gets a commissioner, Tony Pettiti is responsible for at least five teams averaging at least 8M fans watching them EVERY WEEK. We are in an arms race to field the best teams in the business. Humongous television fan bases are the best means to earn astronomic TV contracts. So I prefer risking two losses in a world class conference of national title contenders than to laugh at a conference foe's demise. No matter how much class they lack. We need a slew of programs capable of kicking our a$$ if we falter. At least capable of it. We are no longer in an era where three conference powerhouses are enough to support a conference. So if I were you folks, I'd start demanding teams we hate, and those we poke fun at get their A$$ES in gear and develop title contenders. Our very survival may be at stake.
  22. Now that's sad... Tulane punts. NT returner looks over his shoulder, and the ball bounces off his foot, into the hands of the Blue Wave gunner...
  23. This in an AD that should be FIRED-
  24. Matt Campbell is a pretty good hire. Yet somehow I don't believe Penn State and their fan base expected Campbell to be the homerun that replaces "Double at Best" James Franklin. Seems to me Penn State and its fans evaluated themselves as an Ohio State and Michigan caliber program. Not to mention better than "new money" Oregon. I thought firing Franklin was a horrible decision. Campbell is decent though, and if he learns to open his offense up, his Penn State teams could be scary. If not, it may be one knight replacing another on the Chessboard. Penn State thought they were going to easily acquire a deadly "queen" caliber coach. Like one of our favorite announcers fondly used to say "not so fast my friend".
  25. I get the impression Kraft would ask his President to never consider ending Oregon's partial media share early despite Oregon making a contribution to TV viewer interest and CFP revenue share.... laugh.
