  2. Spot On! Does anyone recall the ohio state university finishing in 4th place in the Big Ten, and OBD defeating Penn State to go undefeated and win the B1G title, instead of remembering The Ohio State University winning the 1st 12-team playoff title? (The Buckeyes also won the first 4-team PO, defeating a team I can't recall, to win it all. 🤬) Georgia will also be happy to watch Bama play A&M in Atlanta and have QB Gunner Stockton healthy for a PO run. These title games should be flex-scheduled and played on the final week of the regular season. Neuter the Fuskies!
  3. Chaos in Week 14 could be fomented by nine of the committee's current top 10 teams playing road games this weekend. Only No. 8 Oklahoma is at home, taking on LSU. 1 Ohio State at 18 Michigan/ 2 Indiana at Purdue/ 3Texas A&M at 17 Texas/ 4 Georgia at 16 Georgia Tech/ 5 Texas Tech at West Virginia/ 6 Ole Miss at Mississippi State/ 7 OBD at UW / 9 Notre Dame at Stanford/ 10 Alabama at Auburn. 12 Utah, 13 Miami, 14 Vanderbilt, 22 Missouri, and 25 ASU also hit the road in Week 14. The above rankings are subject to change today when the Committee opens the kimono for another tease before the Final Reveal. 🤪 Paste, Baste, and Waste, U Who!

  5. If Oregon’s coordinators leave, I hope they are selective. The last thing they need is to end up at a program that doesn’t have the resources to compete. I also don’t see the cultural fit with Stein and Arkansas.
  6. I can’t root for Ohio State. Just can’t.
  7. Let’s get one thing out of the way real quick. This past weekend, the Oregon football program had some of the WORST circumstances to execute a major win against the high-flying Trojans. Oregon’s pass rush had failed one of the country’s best run defenses, the defense looked suspect against premier wide receivers when playing Indiana, and tons of injuries on ... 8. ...To beat Michigan. I firmly believe that it would be in Oregon's best interest for Ohio State to take care of business against their hated rivals in the Michigan Wolverines. Should the Buckeyes lose to them again, it could create a scenario where the Men of Oregon back themselves into the B1G Championship Game. Unlikely, yes, but possible. This is exactly what we DON'T want to happen, friends. Why, you may ask? Well, here's a few reasons. • A HOME PLAYOFF GAME: We all want this. Can you imagine a more electric atmosphere than a CFP game in Autzen Stadium?! That would be an absolute NIGHTMARE for the poor souls on the other side. Speaking of which... •A Favorable Matchup: If we can secure the #6 or #7 seed, we would get either the Group of 5 rep or the ACC champ most likely. Either way, I like our chances to win, advance, get tuned up and possibly catch fire. But the MAIN reason we need to root for Ohio State to take care of business? •Injuries: We're banged up. Badly. Our WR core has been decimated. Our Offensive line is holding on for dear life. We need to beat those datgum Huskies, then we need time off so we can get HEALTHY. Have you guys seen the amount of players we have on the shelf right now?! My GOODNESS! Well, I've laid out my case, but all of this won't amount to a hill of beans unless OBD dispatches those Mutts up North (You'll get no love for the Huskies from me). So let's handle our business, and hope that Ohio State handles theirs!
  9. Silly season is almost upon us. Duck fans don't have to worry about it, worrying about a potential home playoff game vs Alabama or Notre Dame is much more fun. But, I did hear from an Arkansas individual, that Will Stein had crept up to the top four in their job search. To me, that doesn't make much sense. Arkansas has all of the madness of a Florida or LSU, without the resources. They can't even fill up their basketball gym for coach Cal. Their top booster, Tyson Foods CEO, is starting to impose his will. He won't sacrifice anymore chicken wings , until he gets more say. I don't believe Mr. Stein will leave for Arkansas, and there is now one job he can't leave for, even if he wanted to. That job is with hand chop U "Free Shoes University". Florida State is retaining Mike Norvell for the 2026 season, because three ACC wins in two years is good enough evidently🤣.
  10. Dan Lanning " Why are we wearing black? Cause we're going to a Trojan funeral!"
  11. Despite the loss I think they looked much better in this game.
  12. Motivation is just another way of saying you want it more than the other guy. Brock has that in spades. Never underestimate the locals.
  13. Shelstad and Bittle were not very good in this game. Shelstad especially can't go 4-17 and 1-11 from 3, that's atrocious, he got outplayed by Pettiford big time. I want to look at this half-full, but I really don't know if this team has an extra gear, I think their stars can play better, but I don't see an extra gear that this team is going to get to, they've played 5 games now and they haven't once played a game that you would say they played better than a B-, at some point that's just who they are, a sloppy team that doesn't have great shooting and doesn't move the ball on offense. I was saying the opposite last year, I thought that team could be special and I was proven wrong, so hopefully I'm wrong again!😂
  14. Auburn traditionally has some horses. Though this is the first game without Bruce Pearl as coach. 10-1 vs current B1G members in last 11. It was probably a respectable Ducks showing against the No. 21 ranked team. 11-23-22 – 43-42 Northwestern (neutral) 12-18-22 – 71-74 at USC 12-21-22 – 84-61 at Washington 3-16-23 – 83-75 Iowa (NIT) 12-9-23 – 104-76 Indiana (neutral) 12-17-23 – 91-75 USC 12-14-24 – 91-53 Ohio State (neutral) 12-21-24 – 87-69 Purdue 3-28-25 – 78-65 Michigan (neutral) 3-30-25 – 70-65 Michigan St (neutral) 11-24-25 – 87-73 Oregon 11-25-25 vs Michigan
  15. Sloppy game with 18 turnovers that's the bad new. The good news is this team worked hard tonight and kept it close for most the game against the 21st team in the nation. If the Ducks get their offensive time right on a few more of those those mistimed passes and those go from turnovers to two points.
  16. My, how the worm turned in the final 7 minutes
  17. A neutral court loss to Auburn won’t hurt at all. Not sure what they need to do to clean up the turnovers, but that part was awful tonight. On the positive side, we out rebounded a very good team by 13. Just clean up the turnovers and this will be a very good team.
  18. We're a bubble team right now, we don't take care of the basketball, we don't hit free throws, we don't have an extra gear to really up the defensive pressure on good teams. We'll win some games, but we're going to have to improve a lot to compete and win games against good teams. Shelstad has to play better, he has to be a threat to take the ball to the rim, he got outplayed tonight by Pettiford. At times we get bogged down trying to get the ball into Bittle on the block, and it just becomes a struggle. Evans was good in the first half, then just kind of disappeared in the second half. A very frustrating game overall. Can't do anything about it now, need to bounce back and beat SDSU then get a win in the final game.
  19. Overall the team looks better. If they can learn how to take care of the ball, they will be fine. Simpkins was a mess tonight. I know he had 22 points, but you can’t have 7 turnovers in one game from the guard position.
  20. USC continuously trotting out their previous NC's from two decades ago is not unlike that cheerleader/prom queen after too many mimosas reminding everyone of what she used to be
  21. No Surprise, B1G or otherwise. IMO, ESPN will extend the 12/1/25 date when the parties have to agree to a new PO format to 1/23/26. I think there is a good chance that we will see the PO expand to 16 teams and possibly more next season. If the NCAA managed the PO, there would already be a 16-team or more PO field. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/breaking-news/article/espn-college-football-playoff-finalizing-agreement-to-extend-new-playoff-format-deadline-to-jan-23-202658379.html The PO committee is making it up as it goes along. Dropping Alabama with four wins over committee-ranked SEC teams from fourth to tenth shook up the Dixie powers that be. And what sense does it make for the ACC and B12 to reject a format that assures two teams in the PO field with a chance for additional at-large teams? When the B1G and the SEC were granted superior PO format voting power, the ACC and B12 acknowledged that CFB has a Power 2. Even Stewart Mandel of The Athletic, who has continually excorciated the proposed AQ B1G PO format, now believes a PO with AQs will not destroy the sport.
  22. TAKE CARE OF THE BASKETBALL!!!!!!!! We make so many dumb decisions, passing to guys not open, not being decisive, dribbling too much. Shelstad looks scared to even attempt to drive the ball, he has to be a threat to go to the hole, he doesn't even make an attempt.
  23. Turnovers are just killing us, they aren't even forced, it's just stupid decisions and not being fundamentally sound.
  24. Ball movent is picking up which is good overall but timing is still off. 5 Games in and this team is starting the process of gelling can't wait to see them at the half way mark.
  25. The Ducks team is shaping up. They look athletic, quick and capable. Dana can shape these guys into a better team. Auburn presents a formidable but beatable opponent. The remainder of the game should be entertaining and revealing about our Ducks.
  26. Don't love the jacking up 3s game plan this team is very hot and cold from 3.
