1. How does the new D-Line play? Oregon needs it to be dominant to compete with the top tier. 2. I’m not so much interested in how Dante plays as I am how the offense is being called. Will it be vanilla or will Stein open the playbook for the new guys? 3. How many back-ups from last year show out now that it’s their turn? I want to see guys like Genorris, Fox and Kawika dominate on the OL. Jericho, Xadavian, and Tionne on the DL. Purchase, Porter, Platt at LB and all of the DB’s. Saleapaga at TE; all the new WR’s; who emerges as the 3rd RB? This isn’t so much for Saturday’s game as it is for the season. I want to get a taste of what Oregon’s future looks like.

Well I was going to shamelessly plug my own article but you beat me to it. But on the opposite side of the ball is going to be the offensive line and run game combo. To put it bluntly the run game wasn't good enough last year. It's numbers were down from 2023 and the offensive numbers on the whole were down from 2023. How does this almost brand new offensive line come together and how many games does it take for them to gel as a solid unit, which I think they will become? Can we coach our way to a quicker start than we did against Idaho? I recall that game as a bit of a nail biter and it should not have been? And of course, how does our new QB perform?
