  2. People probably remember how harsh I was on Dante Moore for the IU loss. Upon further reflection, I still haven't changed my mind. Moore dropped back for a deep throw on his first pass and got sacked like with IU and TTU which left him really concerned about the pass rush. Then his head and eyes are down scanning the DL so his field of view is only 5-10 yards down field. WRs/TEs further than 10 yards down field are not in his field of view. He literally can't see them, because he's too scared to look up and take his eyes off the pass rush. It's as simple as that. He doesn't trust his OL. He needs to trust the OL to do their job and focus more on doing his job. Move in the pocket based on peripheral vision but keep your eyes up to see open receivers down the field. If we lose because the OL doesn't do there job I can live with that, and he should live with that. But playing scared is a horrible way to lose in the playoffs. But if he can't figure out how to not play scared and wants to go pro, he'll have a fright fest playing behind that Raider OL...
  3. Rewatching the 3rd down run by him at the very end of the game he landed a little weird and got up slow. Guessing that is when it happened. Hopefully Limar stays with the team and plays on Friday as we need him.
  4. Time to let Noah Whittington put together his two best games he's ever played as a Duck and go out as a hero! With Dierre Hill in there to keep him fresh of course.
  5. Spencer is reporting it as well about Jordan Davison
  6. Nothing official yet from Oregon. I doubt this news has no basis, but a "fractured" clavicle could be a slight AC (acromioclavicular) separation that would be painful but not debilitating. Just got to wait to find out.
  7. Why does it feel like the deck is stacked against Oregon every year?
  8. If Davison broke his collar bone it wasn't during the game, because he finished with a goal line score and the wings celebration. I hope this rumor is false.

  10. Ugh! Not good news. Jordan Davison suffered a broken clavicle. Oregon Ducks running back Jayden Limar is set to enter the transfer portal. The departure of the junior, who served as a team captain in games against Oregon State and Washington, will be felt throughout the program, especially following a key injury at the position just before the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Peach Bowl against No. 1 Indiana. Oregon Ducks running back Jayden Limar is set to enter the transfer portal, leaving a gap in the team’s roster. The junior, who earned team captain honors for the matchups against Oregon State and Washington, has been a key leader both on and off the field. Limar's departure comes at a particularly challenging time for the Ducks, who are also facing a critical injury at the running back position. Per Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian, true freshman Jordon Davison suffered a broken clavicle and is likely unavailable for the rest of the CFP Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Ducks Receive Rough Transfer News After Running Ba...Oregon Ducks running back Jayden Limar is set to enter the transfer portal, leaving a gap in the team’s roster. 11. The RB personnel present at practice today will speak volumes about who is available. No Davison is a major blow given how Oregon would need to lean into the run game against Indiana.
  12. That could have gone a greenish shade of Platinum, had Oregon won...
  13. So now Fentress is reporting the news that Davison has a fractured clavicle and is out for the duration. Crap, this is turning one of Oregon's strongest positions rooms into a weakness.
  14. Well, in all fairness, how many of us were rooting for them two years ago? 😀 Also, at least they got fractional natty a couple of times. Let's go out an win one 100%!
  15. Today
  16. What's a little hand fighting between frenemies ?
  17. Terrible timing indeed. I also noticed that OBD hasn't landed anyone in the portal yet. Maybe nobody is right, but also the coaches may not have time to look...
  18. As Sark recently noted, the pay-for-play demands by player agents are often absurd, and the reported 'salaries' are exaggerated. However, FWIW, QB Brendan Sorsby, transferring in from Cincinnati, has reportedly signed a deal with Texas Tech worth $5 million for one season, and Indiana is reportedly paying close to the same, bringing in QB Josh Hoover from TCU. The NFL Billionaires have learned to play nice with one another. But CFB Billionaires? Texas Tech and Indiana are currently at the top of the 2026 portal rankings. Neither program is going away. "A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money." Senator Everett Dirkson - 1962 - When a million dollars was a lot of real money 🤑 Johnny Manziel, sorry about that, chief. 🤪
  19. I know Indiana is a threat every game. My real concern is more centered around which version of our Ducks shows up.
  20. From The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, there is no starting player on the Indiana defense rated higher than a 3* coming out of high school or from the portal. 247 Sports Combined Roster Rankings for the Final 4 - OBD - 5th/ Miami - Fifteenth/ Ole Miss - 21st/ Indiana - 72nd - That Indiana is odds on to win it all speaks for itself when it comes to the quality of the coaching. OC Mike Shanahan (no relation to the 49ers Kyle) and DC Bryant Haines have been with Cignetti for nine-plus seasons. Both coordinators earned substantial pay raises. Haines's new deal pays him more than the now-unemployed Jim Knowles made last season at Penn State. Based on what Kiffin and other new hires are being paid, Cignetti, with a contract that contains a 'fair market value' escalator clause, is in line for a million-dollar-plus increase in his base pay. I'd say Curt has received a 'pretty good' return from betting on himself as a head coach. Curt and friends have brought Indiana football out of the sub-sub-basement with practices that are shorter than the vast majority of FBS programs. Cliche? Yes, but Indiana's roster is packed with We and not Me football players. To date, Indiana and Texas Tech are leading the 2026 transfer portal rankings; both have found new QBs for 2026. Indiana is bringing in quality players on both sides of the ball. One of the many mistakes the 'experts' made in the preseason was writing Indiana off as a one-hit wonder. BUT, HAMMER THE HOOSIERS!
  21. I just want some Offensive PI calls, Indiana in their game against us was pushing off on those 8-12 yard out patterns all game long, hard to defend when the receiver is blatantly extending their arms in order to get open.
  22. Oregon RB Jayden Limar will leave the Ducks to pursue a transfer https://share.google/7twi5UK2xOHaKgvBL Another potentially important depth loss for Oregon in the RB room down the stretch along with Hughes and Harris. Harris was at practice yesterday and perhaps will stay thru the playoff run. If he is gone today, the RB room is getting pretty thin with Riggs injured. This is probably why linebacker Platt was seen practicing with the RBs yesterday. He played a fair amount of RB in HS. This transfer window timing bs is really stinging OBD.
  23. They only have 11 defensive penalties so far this year. That's pretty amazing considering the amount of defensive holding and PI calls that are made.
  24. That's cool. I must have missed the first time around. Or old age CRS.
  25. Just dug this up. Lets go Ducks
  26. I've found that it depends on who's reporting the injury. There is an insider at ON3 named Hopkins who is usually pretty accurate. He reported all of the injuries (Moore, Bryant, et al) before the Iowa game.
  27. A random jump into the AI weeds, it does seem like people do break their collarbone and not know it (apparently a lot by falling off their bikes). Initial soreness that gradually increases. 🤷‍♂️
