  1. This season has already been a success! 11 B1G wins to one B1G loss (to the #1 ranked team no less). Our OC and DC both get hired as HC at KY and at Cal. Respect from CF talking heads. Home game in the CFP, Multiple players selected to all B1G teams. Outstanding recruiting class on tap. Every win from here on is just icing on the cake! Sure, I’d love to see a string of wins in a run to the Natty, but the 2025 version of OBD has already delivered us fans a very successful season.
  2. I don’t have a dog in this fight, and don’t see either team lasting long enough to play OBD. The good thing about this game is an SEC loss. The bad thing about this game is an SEC win.
  3. Thank you Jordan! If OBD plays a clean game and plays to their potential, we will all go to bed happy Saturday night! Play to the standard men. FEBU. It’s DUCKS vs THEM!
  4. Thanks for posting another excellent ponder point Alex! I too, think DM is in it for the long haul. He has shown his maturity and invested in his future by sitting behind DG last year, and has already indicated he sees the value of experience going in to the league. I would be surprised if he makes the jump this year and forgoes the opportunity to continue to learn from DL and start to meet his potential.
  5. Excellent article David, thank you! One thing I didn’t see mentioned was Oregon’s videography group. While they may not have been factors in building the juggernaut I believe they have a lot to do with maintaining and even improving the recruiting prowess of OBD. The DUCKS VS THEM series. The Under Construction series on the Ducks YouTube Chanel this year and the That Team Out West series from last year are off the charts as far a a recruiting tool. Today’s recruits absolutely eat that stuff up! Again, thank you for the thought producing article about OBD recruiting!
  6. Tulane Green Wave is putting the hurt on North Texas! Hope you didn’t have much on North Texas to win or cover JJ!
  7. Dan gets a new OC and DC next year! https://duckswire.usatoday.com/football/
  8. The committee will NOT put three B1G teams in the top 4. Not going to happen. OBD starts the playoffs in Autzen.
  9. — a consortium of single-cell organisms that are afraid of loud noises, react poorly to daylight, and speak in monosyllabic grunts whilst inhaling spent grain at the Montlake feeding trough… … knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, booger-eating Husky faithful… Now THAT is some well written descriptors! This Duck fan could not agree more. Thanks Jordan for a well written and insightful article!
  10. I ask you OBD Fans, Which is better? Trojan tears? Or Trojan meltdown? We spot the 130 yards in penalties only for USC to meltdown in the waning minutes of the game!
  11. OBD, 36, USuC 17 2 TO 2 Sacks 285 yards in the air. Wear Black. Tear Thru Trojans.
  12. OBD, 41-14 2 TO 3 sacks 198 pass yards. 250 + rush yards
  13. Unfortunately this version of OBD does not seem to have a killer instinct. Put them down already. They seem happy to build a small lead, then squander it. Rinse and repeat. I want to see a couple 10-2 runs strung together.
  14. Deep condolences WK. Hard enough to lose a member of the household, but your game watching partner too? Remember the good times!
  15. Iowa fan being force fed the OBD rushing attack!
  16. Heck of a game by the green and yellow team! Won in spite of playing against 11 in black and gold teamed up with 5 in black and white stripes. 5 penalties for 57 yards against OBD, 1 penalty for zero yards against Iowa? wth??? The snap in Their final TD was snapped at least a half second after the play clock ran out. They even showed it on replay, and the snap was unquestionably after the zero came up. A win is a win, but my blood pressure can’t keep taking this abuse!
  17. 27-14 OBD 2 TO 2 Sacks 288 yards . GO Ducks, hammer the hawks
  18. OBD, 47-0 3 TO 3 Sacks 285 yards Go Ducks. Waste Wisky (but never waste whiskey)
  19. Totally agree KK! Could not have said it better! THIS team could make a deep and deadly run into the playoffs! If OBD completes league play with this intensity, we should get our opening playoff in Autzen!
  20. After last week I am torn! Which team shows up? I shall go with: OBD, 31-13 2 TO 3 Sacks 230 yards passiNguyen Go Ducks!
  21. He won’t be beloved by the fans like he used to be, after he took the first train out of town when he had the chance… Many corn valley fans I know and work with feel he did them dirty and they don’t want him back. Ever. Under ANY circumstance. We shall see what Beavis is made of…
  22. I hope Oregon doesn’t do that to Dan Lanning if he ever gets 3 losses in a row! That would just about be too much for me to handle. This win at all costs attitude is absolutely ruining the sport. I keep coming back to: IT IS A GAME! Played by kids. Every game has a winner and every game has a loser. ALWAYS! To think your team will win every game all the time is just ludicrous.
  23. Couple quick comments: The UCLA Moore showed up because he had the UCLA O-line leaking like a seave! Six Sacks! Who saw that coming? This is NOT on Moore. This was a TEAM loss. They were lethargic all afternoon. They were out played and even got out-shouted by the opposition between the 3rd and 4th quarters. For whatever reason (over confidence, reading their own hype, trap game let down, bye week blues) OBD did not show up on Saturday 10/11/2025.
  24. OBD, 32-13 2 TO 3 Sacks 288 yards in the air. 3 penalties from Autzen NOISE! GO Ducks, Hammer the Hoosiers and Smoke Cig!
