I must say I have been wondering if Mad Man Dan would lean into his riverboat gambler side and let osu2 sneak out of the B1G CG with a close win in order to let his guys play one more at Autzen? There are positives to both choices, and I imagine MMDL and his staff have given is more than a passing thought. Either way, Go Ducks, destroy the dawgs!

For OBD the osu2 suckeyes will always play second fiddle to the beavers who not only were here first, but we played them first. And to Charles’ point above, ain’t nuthin they can do about it, the more they piss and moan, the more people will call them osu2! A true win - win!

We could start calling them osu2 since Oregon State was founded in 1868, BEFORE tosu was founded in 1870. I do agree with you Jon, we need to increase our 2-0 streak to about 10-0. That will turn OBD into osu2’s very bitter rival!

BIG TEN TED has always been a fan of the Ducks. Loves the uniforms, logos, colors and Autzen. Calls Duck fans the best and most knowledgeable! He mentions the history of coaches, but acknowledges Dan Lanning as the dude leading the coolest program in college football! Thanks for sharing KK, I just watched it and was going to share but you beat me to it! All fans of OBD need to give this one a listen!

Nothing would make me happier than to see all SEC teams lose their first game! Probably not gonna happen but it would certainly make me a happy camper!

I am thankful for what Dan Lanning has transformed OBD into. I am thankful to have the opportunity to see this year’s version of OBD reign havoc and chaos onto the putrid purple pups. I will be more thankful to look back and see that the thrashing of the mangy flea-bitten dogs set OBD up to run the table in the first year of the 12 team playoff. Go Ducks, show no mercy as you annihilate Uwho.

Dan has stated he has found his retirement job and has no reason to leave. I believe him and believe in what he is doing. He has been a man of his word, and I don’t see that changing.

So, what does UW really stand for?: Ultimate Wankers? Unadulterated Whiners? Ugly Wimps? Unloved Winebags? Upstart Wussies?

I would argue that the bigs make or break the success of the QB. The best QB in the world with a porous O-line will not do as well as a pedestrian QB with solid protection and decisive blocking. I think that is another thing I like about the 2024 edition of OBD, their ability at times to dominate the trenches.

I remember going to a fight at the Memorial Colosseum one night and a hockey game broke out! Portland and Kamloops I believe it was. The refs never even tried to break up or stop any of the fights. I think there were 6 fights total. Player 1, throw down gloves Player 2, throw down gloves Player 1, throw down helmet… Player 2, throw down helmet… Both players, proceed to beat on opponent while the refs watch! Great game!
