  1. Men will cry. Women will faint. Children will hide under the bed.
  2. Nervous, nervous, nervous...Oregon 41 - 24, 3, 3, 215
  3. It seems like Max Borghi has been playing since the Carter administration.
  4. Man oh man, the Ducks were the catalyst for a whole bunch of Husky doo-doo. The OC gets fired, the HC gets suspended. Prowess!
  5. “Well, apart from medicine, irrigation, health, roads, cheese and education, baths and the Circus Maximus, what have the Romans ever done for us?” - Monty Python ”What Have the Romans Ever Done For Us?”
  6. This. We don't need to know everything that goes on behind closed doors. Sometimes, only sometimes, those doors are closed for a good reason.
  7. Interesting that it was the player's own "live social media feeds" that brought Mario's remarks out in the open. It seems to me that some things need to be kept private. Will teams now have to bar players from live-streaming?
  8. Oh yeah, toketeeman, well aware that the internet never forgets. But, that remark doesn't appear to be getting traction this morning, so it may not explode. I mean, I couldn't find the quote with a cursory search, and I'm not seeing it anywhere on the usual suspects sites, so it may not become a big deal. But, I'm sure that Washington and their fans will not forget it.
  9. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, what a jolly Christmas we'd all have.
  10. Thanks, latracey. We'll see if that quote becomes an internet sensation, or if it gets forgotten.
  11. Agree with you, CJ, both on Bassa and on RGIII. Commentary from RGIII is reasonably analytical and pretty funny at the same time. Plus, his enthusiasm adds to the broadcast. And Bassa? Wow, his name kept getting called on the biggest plays. He has gone from just filling in to being a force in a very few games.
  12. Where does this quote from Mario..."everything wrong with football"...come from? I can't find it anywhere. Anybody have a link?
  13. Well put...I had that same feeling of confidence (which I had learned to mistrust) even during the bad stuff in the first quarter. This team may be inconsistent, but sure they don't quit. And, with the talent they put on the field, they can overcome a lot.
  14. What's with the kicking? Is Lewis kicking into a strong wind?
  15. We've seen this kind of start from the Ducks before, and they're 7-1.

I think the Utes are the toughest remaining opponent.
  17. I want to see that Mario has the team in a cold fury for this game; a bunch of hot rage in the players could make for an ugly game. Just dispatch the Huskies, coldly and clinically, and don't look back. Don't be hearing barking in your head all the time; it gives Washington too much credit.
  18. The best way to really anger Husky fans would be to not care about them and their teams. "We actually compete with more football prowess schools".
  19. Looks like Darrius Clemons may be coming, instead.
  20. Twitter is nothing but bulletin board material, whatever the topic being discussed.
  21. Not nearly as much as it used to be.
