  1. 42-17 looks way better than 35-17. Now put in Butters for the last drive!
  2. I'd like to see another TD before the end of the game. Style points matter, teams like Cal need to be blown out for OBD to jump up the standings.
  3. Hopefully this TD means the players have been shaken out of this malaise they've been stuck in.
  4. DJ Johnson has been the lone bright spot on defense so far.
  5. Saw the replay, he didn't even get to secure the ball. It bounced right off his chest.
  6. WRs not paying attention, very unfocused. Hutson drops a wide open pass into his hands and Franklin loses his pass the defense for an INT. The coaches need to wake these players up.
  7. Secondary is now getting outplayed. Way too many long pass completions on that drive.
  8. I think Nix was getting a bit frustrated so he took matters into his own hands on that one. That's fine with me, I'd rather he get it out on a short play here than him trying to do long ball heroics elsewhere. Good decision.
  9. I'm glad Wilcox didn't take the job. While I respect him on the defensive side, he's always been a middling head coach to me. If he took the job, even with the resources available to him I don't think he'd recruit better than top 25 on average and win records would be 7-9 wins every year. No thanks!
  10. That stadium isn't anywhere remotely close to full so noise shouldn't be an issue. Don't know why the OL is so skittish, two false start penalties already.
  11. Offense seems to be out of sync. Masa's false start really messed up that last drive. As good as he is, he seems to be causing a lot of false starts this season.
  12. The stellar play of this year's OL definitely has to be weighing in on his decision. If I were in his place I'd definitely be excited seeing what they're doing on offense!
  13. Typo! I meant 3 sacks not 34 (though that would be amazing to see lol). Typing on my phone kinda sucks...
  14. This isn't the Cristobal prevent offense of yesteryear and Cal is really struggling right now so I'm going big on score. 48-21 Oregon 2 TO 3 4 Sacks 275 passing yards Cal will score a TD in garbage time for the final margin...
  15. At a real neutral site? I feel like it would be something like 42-28 Georgia. That being said, Oregon would have a puncher's chance now....if they swung hard and often a couple good shots might take the Bulldogs down.
  16. Peyton Bowen, Notre Dame 5-star safety pledge, wears Oregon Ducks headband following visit - Scorebook Live NEWS.SCOREBOOKLIVE.COM Last weekend, Guyer High School (Texas) five-star safety and Notre Dame pledge Peyton Bowen took a visit to the University of Oregon. At the very least, it He visited Oregon just last weekend. Could be nothing...could be something. At the very least there's some intrigue there. This is the 2nd 5* player I know of that's been sporting Oregon gear during their high school games (the other being 5* edge Matayo Uiagalelei).
  17. I like this particular quote in the article: Shows everything you need to know about how Bo and Dillingham operate.
  18. Call it "Father Time's Revenge".
  19. He's 6'8" and 300# already, can't teach that!
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if Cardwell transferring would be the end result. It's an unfortunately common scenario...starter or rotation regular gets hurt, others step up and establish themselves, starter heals up but can't regain their position, then transfer out for better opportunities. I kind of wondered whether this would happen when Coach Locklyn brought bulked up the RB room with transfers. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sean Dollars transfers out as well.
  21. Oregon has the inside track on Iapani Laloulu, that kid is 6'2" and 350+ lbs, 4* OG. Once he slims down to 310-320, he'll be a great road-grader on the line.
  22. It could be if OBD take a relaxed attitude towards next week. That big game hangover is real, especially when you win it.
  23. One might argue that players stopped playing hard for Mario. I'm sure many of them have seen or read how Mario ran things here and already anticipated some less than ideal stuff to happen under his tutelage.
  24. I love Justin Flowe's aggression and tenacity but a lot of times it works against him because he's *too* aggressive. He had that UCLA player dead to rights one on one behind the LOS and couldn't finish the tackle because he was way too amped up. If he dialed it down 10% he would've gotten it.
  25. He possibly could be! But it's important to remember that a big reason he's successful right now is because we have a head coach that's keeping his mitts off the offense and letting him do his job. TBH the entire coaching staff is doing an excellent job overall for their 1st year together.
