  1. ASU's getting desperate...probably because no one wants to coach ASU with an unknown number of sanctions coming their way. If I were Dillingham I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Nothing kills a promising career like a really bad move.
  2. Definitely. Right now I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and chalking it up to inexperience....he's playing like a true freshman right now...I'm expecting him to dial down the aggression by 10% and being more field-savvy next season.
  3. "meh" is being kind to Noah. He's excellent at being a run stopper and plugging up holes in the line, that's just how he's built. But a guy his size just can't do pass coverage and it shows. I agree with you that DL's defense basically needs a lineup of 3 Jeffrey Basas at LB...guys that are around 6'3" and 220 lbs which are just big enough to help with RBs but quick enough to adequately defend the pass. He's already started to address that in the 2022 class with Devon Jackson (6'2", 200lbs) and Harrison Taggart (also 6'2" 200lbs). We'll probably see them start lining up alongside Flowe next season (I think Sewell will declare after this season).
  4. I have to disagree with the onside kick. That's a surprise that might work once in a blue moon but if you've already done it, teams like UW who will over-prepare for the Oregon game will have definitely noticed and be ready for it. In this case, it was absolutely a bad decision.
  5. Up until Nix got injured due to a dirty hit to his leg, that drive would have resulted in a TD and the game would've been out of reach for UW.
  6. Offense squandered opportunities and made too many mistakes.
  7. And suddenly Irving develops butterfingers. What on earth is going on?
  8. Why wouldn't DL take a time out and get Nix back in?? What???
  9. Apparently even adequate pass coverage is too much to ask...
  10. Defense absolutely needs a stop this drive.
  11. What's with our kicker?? He keeps kicking it out of bounds and giving UW better field position.
  12. Really don't like settling for a FG. That was a dirty hit by the Fuskie player, aiming his helmet right at Nix's knee like that.
  13. Really good, methodical drive. Now they just need to finish it and punch it in.
  14. The pass coverage is absolutely terrible. An open receiver on virtually every play right now.
  15. If there ever a time for a stop, it's right now.
  16. That's something I've noticed quite a lot with the linebackers and secondary, they're constantly staring at the QB and never paying attention to their surroundings. It's frustrating to watch.
  17. Wow the secondary got burned hard on that one.
  18. Finally some common sense play calling. Some runs to move the chains and set up the long pass for a TD. That will be there all night long. Hopefully they keep doing it.
  19. Agree, just pound the rock and beat the pups into submission!
  20. Feels like Dillingham's play calling is off this game. He's making some pretty questionable decisions.
  21. And right when I posted they went cute. DeBoer would have been ready for the inside kick, just gave them really great field position...
  22. OBD just proved they can run the ball right down the puppies' throat. They need to keep doing that then pass the ball to make them pay for stacking the box. Keep it simple and effective, not cute.
  23. Omg why did they have to try and get cute there? Just run the darn ball in!
  24. WRs consistently wide open in the middle of the field. Oregon needs better pass coverage in that area.
