GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
That's something I've noticed quite a lot with the linebackers and secondary, they're constantly staring at the QB and never paying attention to their surroundings. It's frustrating to watch.

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
Wow the secondary got burned hard on that one.

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
Finally some common sense play calling. Some runs to move the chains and set up the long pass for a TD. That will be there all night long. Hopefully they keep doing it.

Agree, just pound the rock and beat the pups into submission!

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
Feels like Dillingham's play calling is off this game. He's making some pretty questionable decisions.

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
And right when I posted they went cute. DeBoer would have been ready for the inside kick, just gave them really great field position...

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
OBD just proved they can run the ball right down the puppies' throat. They need to keep doing that then pass the ball to make them pay for stacking the box. Keep it simple and effective, not cute.

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
Omg why did they have to try and get cute there? Just run the darn ball in!

GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
WRs consistently wide open in the middle of the field. Oregon needs better pass coverage in that area.

OBD Prediction Contest vs. Washington!

The Bad Luck and Good Luck for Oregon Targeting the Playoff This Year
I can't wait for DL years 3 and 4 when he and Lupoi are primarily working with players they recruited. It should be a lot of fun to watch that defense.

Canzano: Oregon Ducks Have a Path to Playoff
OBD definitely have a legit shot at the CFP. That being said, all they can do is control what they can control which is win out (yes I'm stating the obvious). There are head-to-head matchups between teams and inter-conference play in the top 5-6 that will definitely affect standings depending on who wins/loses, so crossing my fingers but staying focused on the immediate objective: spank the Fuskies!

OBD Prediction Contest vs. Colorado!

Hot Pursuit Of Dante Moore. Will He Flip?
Other than the possibility of NIL, the only real thing MSU can offer is distance to home. I don't think that's enough to offset the terrible state of their football program right now.

Canzano: Pac-12 and San Diego State in a Dance
Personally I'm also thinking that the Pac will need to expand even further. Bring in SDSU but also UNLV, SMU, and either Fresno St. or Boise St. If the UC regents somehow force UCLA to stay then Fresno/Boise aren't needed. We already have the 4 corner state universities, pulling in UNLV and SMU makes sense to expand exposure and recruiting blueprint into the SW and Texas. Imagine how many recruits would see Oregon games on regular basis if they're playing in Dallas?

Oregon Commits: Friday Night Lights
Doug Flutie would give you the stink eye right now! lol 6'3" is perfectly fine. Talent and confidence matters more than physical traits, though it helps to have them all.

Beavers vs Huskies, Your Pick?
Beavs of course. But that's like being forced to choose between stepping in poop or vomit.

Canzano: Pac-12 and San Diego State in a Dance
I'm not adverse to the smaller size of their stadium, that can easily be made up by the enthusiasm of the fan base. According to the article, that enthusiasm seems to be coming in spades. I'd rather have a smaller venue jam-packed with a raucous crowd than the tumble-weed infested lands that inhabit the Rose Bowl when UCLA plays their home games...

Where is Seven McGee?
While he shares some similarities with DAT, he clearly doesn't have the same physical abilities (otherwise he would have been a 5* ATH recruit like DAT). While he showed some potential in the Spring game, overall he hasn't shown the same elusiveness and breakaway speed that DAT routinely showcased during his time at Oregon. The only obvious spot he would fit into would probably be slot receiver but that's currently occupied by the more experienced Hutson. I think he may transfer.

Game Day Thread of Other Games (Not Oregon)
Watching the Michigan/Michigan St. game. I bet Mel Tucker wishes he never left Colorado. At least there he was having some actual success.

Miami.... Won????
If I were a player or recruit for Miami I'd be looking for ways out right now. Yikes.

GameDay Thread versus Cal: Join Us!
Darn it I had 48-24...noooooooooooo
-
GameDay Thread versus Cal: Join Us!
Wow, that was just sad coverage by the secondary. They just keep getting burned on those long shots.
-
GameDay Thread versus Cal: Join Us!
42-17 looks way better than 35-17. Now put in Butters for the last drive!

GameDay Thread versus Cal: Join Us!
I'd like to see another TD before the end of the game. Style points matter, teams like Cal need to be blown out for OBD to jump up the standings.
