Oddly enough Oregon is NOT in the top 10 of schools that pay the most for their players (per unsubstantiated reports) but it is the current landscape. Money doesn't buy championships, Texas A&M spent more money than anyone before it was allowed, and they fired that coach! If you're griping about it, fusky and beavis, try actually investing in football which makes your schools money! Oregon didn't get invited into the B1G and have to take a loan out to pay the entrance fee. Oregon made money by investing in the programs that helped build brand. Track town USA ring a bell?

Tez out played every vaunted team he played against including the two best Ds in the B1G. He also doesn't need to push off, Jeremiah Smith, to get separation to make a catch. Joel full O'Klatt says that's not OPI because he talks to all refs. Yet Tez is second team and doesn't have to do that. Yes, OBD is balanced and I'm appreciative of that. Put the best receivers in a vacuum and Tez will out run, route, catch, and avoid all Ds. In my eye-test, Tez out-classes all receivers this year.

Here's a task for everyone: filll out the playoff bracket choosing the winners by which coach will have their team ready and make the right calls to win each game! Who's in your final four?

They all transfer out if Jaren-Keawe Sagapotele lights it up next fall but I think Dante will win the job. Hopefully Jaren will be ok with redshirting a year. I see several years, in a row, of Heisman finalists in OBD future.

They just had to watch the BCG. Who was named MVP? The ONLY receiver to get that distinction! PSU's vaunted D couldn't stop him from catching a cold. That was a load of cr*p!!

How is Tez a second team anything??!! He ran circles around the entire B1G! Those post season rankings were crap.

I was at the game and it was 70% psu, 15% Ducks, and 15% other fans. It was great because no matter how loud they got, OBD converted drives into scores.

Please stop giving osu the respect by adding the "t" to osu. Equate them to all the other osu's around the country.

Ducks didn't fake injuries, like 11, of the 12 teams in the Pac. Remember that game where the Fuskies sent out their kick return guy in late and had him lay down in the puke, purple area of the endzone to try and fool OBD? They were called for what again?...that would be the definition of creating an unfair advantage (aka cheating.)

Wait! OBD can't score in the 3rd quarter. That is an issue especially when they play teams that will outscore them in that quarter. They will never make the playoff or win the championship if that happens!! Dan, Will, and Tosh just won't cut it. Rob better jettison the whole crew and pay Cignetti, or someone, to be the new coach. He, someone, will definitely make this team better.

osu STILL believes that they are the best team in the B1G (their hype). Lanning will have OBD ready for Indianapolis. I don't have a doubt.

Dan Lanning = not-so-evil evil genius! He and his staff are mentally dueling their opponents and winning. This is quite possibly the best staff ever and a very scary group of future head coaches! Keep playing 3D chess coach!

I will be there! I bought my flight and airbnb last month. Game tickets today. I will be rooting for Indiana because osu fans believe they won the game at Autzen and they were cheated out of the game with the bad OPI call and Dan Lanning cheated with the 12th man stunt. They don't acknowledge that they should never have scored the first TD and that means OBD won by at least 8 points.

And three amazingly bad calls that made OBD just 1 point better. I will repeat myself: OBD has a coach playing 3D chess against Spock while other teams have coaches playing Plinko. Bring on osu! I will trust Dan Lanning over Ryan Day any day!!

Wisco's TD had two very bad calls against OBD. The score was 16-6 without that "TD drive." If I were at home I might have thrown something at my TV! FEBU should be FEA(y)R--F Everybody And (your) Refs!!

Rewatch those pressers, Dan is very dismissive of those questions. He answers those like he answers most of Crepea's questions. DG even jokes in the last ones saying hey we scored in the 3rd.

I think the 3rd quarter is a "rope-a-dope" for coach. If it was really an issue does anyone, in their right mind, think that Lanning, of all coaches, wouldn't have addressed and fixed it? Like I said in a other post one quarter out of four, with any points that OBD want to score, no team is making up the deficit. But what about osu part 2, you ask? Lanning's team will beat them again--if the refs call a clean game. If they don't, he and his staff probably have another play pushing the boundaries of the rules.

OBD had higher expectations placed on them for the first few games of the season-hype. IU had zero expectations but now have the "magical" season moniker placed on them. OBD have proved those higher expectations to be true. As a side note: three of the four west coast teams have had to play 7 games before a bye. OBD is the only team to have to play eight straight before their second bye!! Stacking cards against our team??

Which team's coach is playing 3D chess and which is playing plinko? Which coach knows the rules and uses it to his advantage and which makes excuses? Ride with whatever team you like! I will stick with Dan The Man.

Which teams are those? DL spread the punt line and UM had a player lined up against the center (penalty). DL calls a timeout and then sends a 12th player out to reduce the time remaining? Who's playing with a "clue?" 3D chess beats all other games!
