In my "coke bottle glasses" visual grading, I don't think OBD has even played a B game. Every game has been B- or worse! Oregon’s game against osu was closer to a B game but still B-. Please continue to play the B- until the "natty" where I expect an A game!

It was to be expected! You can't show up to the B1G pond and claim it as your own!! The entire narrative was the former schools of the Pac were never built to play the B1G-style of football. Like DL said, OBD are changing that narrative one game at a time! They are competing against themselves--every game. They are taking ownership of this pond! FEBU! SCO Ducks!! As a side note, I would rather play osu in the B1G championship game than Indiana because our coaching staff has proven that they can play 3D chess while osu is still playing plinko. Cignetti appears to be playing chess and that could be dangerous for OBD.

And yet, everywhere you read or on every podcast: Oregon is finesse, they don't have the boys in the trenches to go through the big boys. Saturday will show us if the "big boys" and OBD finesse game can compete...but the excuses will fly when OBD win by more than 14.5. It will be that its a down year for "big blue."

Funny how the B1G goes to the rescue for one of their "standard bearer" schools yet they let the crappy officiating continue for the west coast schools...especially the #1 team in their league. Wait, I mean the #1 team in OUR pond!!

Preemptive strike for OSU loss to PSU? What's funny is that there are a handful of calls against the new B1G members, for all their games, that give the other B1G teams an advantage! I was at the Purdue game and those "official reviews" where the calls "stand" took some advantage from OBD. Luckily we have an ace up our collect sleeve, Dan Lanning, which was enough to neutralize their "incompetence." Watch for the phantom calls/non-calls in every game. Let's GO Ducks! JFOK, is also fixed that the "standard bearer" of the B1G were cheated out of a win at Autzen because the refs called an OPI that was clearly not there. He is as big of a HOMER as Herbstreit! Every team is going to be tough for OBD because the bullseye was pulled from OSU and placed on them! No GAME is easy.

Charles, I said the same thing about MC. We had to trust his process until he proved to us it, he, was wrong. I was very happy when MC went to Miami and their team did the same things wrong as the Ducks when he was coach. I'm not saying that the coach is always right because no one is. All the coaches of Oregon’s past have made many, many mistakes. DL will continue to make mistakes but has he learned from them? I think he has learned from some but not all. Has he made OBD good bordering on great! He is one of the few coaches that have hired better replacements for assistants than the ones he had previously, IMO. We are all fans, or haters, and we all have reactions to plays and bad calls. It's just ludicrous to read that people are calling for someone to be benched or fired with a small sample size of games. I trust DL in his process and his growth. Until he gives concrete proof that his judgements are flawed I will continue to trust him--even with the field goals and two point conversion tries. I was/am in the minority, about BN as OBD QB, because I watched him, as a freshman, beat OBD in Dallas but all the mistakes he made then he was still making four years later. He's a great kid and will likely have a decent career in the NFL but he's still making those 18 y/o mistakes as a pro.

There were people online saying that Treshon should be kicked off the team, that's excessive punishment. Are these the same people that want DG benched because he doesn't see the whole field or can't throw a deep ball? A different OC because Stein doesn't call good plays? A different running backs coach because Samples isn't as good as the previous one? One thing those experts NEED to know: In Lanning WE trust! Go DUCKS!
