  1. Cal's biggest loss was to the worst team they've played, 14-9 to FSU. the 3 Ls to (Miami, they actually won this one) Pitt and NC State a combined 4 points.
  2. Good to see this, David. After the top 5 it is fairly interchangeable. The top to bottom of the Pac-12 was more competitive than the B1G.
  3. The top looks right to me. Alabama at No.15 and it's No.1 vs No.20 @ Autzen on Saturday.
  4. Herby and Ohio State, Leinart & Kessler at USC, Trojan fans actually interested enough to be outraged.
  5. Right now, Oregon, is as "Real" as it gets, USC?
  6. Indiana's Kurtis Rourke gets cryptic injury update after Nebraska beatdown CLUTCHPOINTS.COM In the Indiana Hoosiers' 49-point blowout win over Nebraska, Heisman candidate quarterback Kurtis Rourke exited early with a...
  7. Hayward, out of your post, which I agree with completely, the area I'm least worried about is the Ducks having the target on their backs. Lanning is the perfect coach for Oregon to have at this moment. He knows first hand how a team needs to handle being No.1. It's why he came to Oregon and what he wants to build here. Kicking out of bounds is a mystery.
  8. From ClutchPoints At separate points, USC led 21-7 and 28-14. Maryland cut the score to 28-22 with just under 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. The Trojans had a chance to put it away with a score late in the game, but Michael Lantz missed a 41-yard field goal with two minutes left in the game. Five plays later, Maryland was in the end zone and took a 29-28 lead with 53 seconds left. USC's last drive failed just outside of field goal range, sealing the latest heartbreaking loss. With USC at 3-4 overall and 1-4 in conference, the Trojans will have to close the season strong to gain bowl eligibility. In all the excitement, USC at UW is in two weeks, next is Rutgers @ USC, kickoff is 8:00 PST,
  9. Oh yes, Joel Klatt, figured OBD would have trouble at Purdue but U$C would take care of Maryland. Hindsight is 20/20 and those calls look blurry. The Ducks continued what they've been doing and so did the Trojans. The Boilermakers and Trojans are slug-ing it out for 12th place with UCLA, Rutgers, Marylan and Northwestern, while the Ducks, Buckeyes, Hoosiers and Nittany Lions fight it out for the championship.
  10. I agree. If Oregon wants to win the Natty, they're going to have to get accustomed to things like being hunted, being No.1.
  11. Next week, U$C at Washington. Shame they can't both lose.
  12. It is looking that way.
  13. The grass is definitely greener at Oregon than it is at USC,
  14. I don't think any of them lost because they were No. 1
  15. There have been quite a few already this season, now it's Oregon's turn.
  16. Second Georgia player ejected for targeting.
  17. From TrojanWire It's Groundhog Day for USC, and after losing 29-28 to Maryland in College Park, USC fans want Lincoln Riley fired. They have had it with this coach. That doesn't mean Riley will be fired, but it does mean the head coach is plainly failing at his job. Let's process yet another all-too-familiar USC loss in 2024, with Trojan fans wanting Lincoln Riley gone:
  18. Third time's the charm, Georgia goes up, 30-15.
  19. Touchdown, Texas. 23-15. You might want to turn your offense on again, Georgia.
  20. Now I guess U$C is 4 plays from being undefeated.
