  1. Contradictory reports emerges on Pac-12 adding Gonzaga: 'No deal in place' - On3 WWW.ON3.COM The Pac-12 reportedly has another member with Gonzaga partially joining in basketball as the league looks for two more programs...
  2. That is the rest of Miami's schedule.
  3. To true. Look at Oregon's facilities, World Class. Look at Oregon State's. Refurbished Reser Stadium? They always sounded so proud when they were talking about it. Oregon State's NIL $ will come from a bake sale.
  4. No. 21 Oklahoma is @ Auburn this week, where 3-1. unranked Cal, already won. 4-0 Indiana @ 3-1 Maryland should be a good one. Part of our Friday Night Fun, 3-1 Washington @ 4-0 Rutgers -2.0 Go Scarlet Knights!
  5. Basketball players at North Carolina did.
  6. That will be a test for "Dad" and for Lanning. First B1G game, heavy favorite, on the road, in a cavernous stadium, that won't create much noise to start with and could be sparse by the 3rd quarter. The Ducks will need to provide the energy. So, this game, it's hard to call it a Must Win, but it's without a doubt, a game they, Can't Lose.
  7. This season, UCLA's defense has held opposing offenses to 23-41 on third down. If head coach DeShaun Foster and defensive coordinator Ikaika Malloe can scheme up their defense to force stops on third down, the Bruins could be in a tight game at the Rose Bowl on Saturday and give UCLA fans something to cheer for late in the second half.
  8. Bear would be a perfect fit at Colorado.
  9. That Flip gets a 10.0
  10. It is hard to see Colorado so high on the list, next to Miami, they annoy me more than any other team. Lanning was right when he said, "they play for clicks!". It truly doesn't matter if Prime wins. They're the Dallas Cowboys, who haven't advanced past the 1st round since 1995, but the $$$ and publicity pour in. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter aren't just the stars of the team, they are the team, . Hunter playing both ways is less about his talent and more about the immense lack of depth. Prime was a Hall of Fame Player, arguably the best Corner to ever play, but he's sub-500 as a coach at Colorado so far, and his seat isn't even warm.
  11. AGONY!!!!! With the score tied and the Ducks driving into UCLA territory with under three minutes to go, Droughns coughed up the ball. His frustration was evident as he smashed his helmet-less head into a metal bench on the Oregon sideline. On the very next play, Cade McNown hit Danny Farmer with an incredible 60-yard TD strike to put the Bruins ahead 38-31.
  12. Defending champ, Georgia, will play 5 of the top 6 teams.
  13. Please let that be, "It goes without saying."
  14. This would be a conference that OSU and WSU could compete in, maybe even win. Instead of hating on Oregon, Washington, UCLA, USC for "leaving them" they should be thankful they weren't laid off from the Pac-12 years ago.
  15. This is it, exactly. Ignorance was truly bliss for me. Every day now, along with covering the games, sports media is generating stories about contracts. NFL, NBA, MLB, not to mention, NIL. $30-60 million a year are what the stars are making, and I know I'll hear somebody tell me, "Now his family is secure." You think? The NFL does have problem internally. The big $$$ are going everywhere, except to the running backs. The best contracts are the second ones. By that time an NFL RB is worn down. He's not getting a new deal. The NBA is the worst. I cannot watch an NBA game anymore. Back in the 70's, Walt Frazier and the Knicks were my first favorite team. The' 77 Blazers, NBA Champs, started the next season, 50-10, before they were crippled by injuries. "Showtime" with Magic and the Lakers and Bird and the Celtics, in the *80's. Jordan and the Bulls in the 90's, with the Pistons and the Knicks. Now, it's Load Management. The Commissioner knows that interest is down for the regular season, so now there's a mid-season Playoff. Of course, with $$$ for the winning team. The NFL finally realized their All-Star game was a joke, so they replaced it with NFL players playing Dodge Ball. The NBA is still playing the game, kind of. The average score now is 240-239. The Slam Dunk Contest, used to be something. Jordan, Domonique Wilkins, Clyde Drexler, Vince Carter. Now it's players nobody ever heard of. There isn't enough money in it for the stars to compete and none want to be embarrassed by not winning. I will always be a fan of the Ducks and college sports I still watch the NFL, it hasn't eroded like the NBA has. The WNBA isn't really much better. Sabrina and the New York Liberty advanced to the 2nd round last night, I didn't watch.
  16. He could win the Heisman and match Johnny Football's NFL career.
  17. 1995-98 were good times for UCLA. Their quarterback was Cade McNown, from West Linn High School. The Bruins went 3-1 against the Ducks during that span, and McNown to WR, Danny Farmer is a constant nightmare!
  18. Wouldn't that be a Code violation?
  19. Mario, "taking his talents to Miami" has actually been a great thing for Oregon and its fans. No matter who the coach was they'd have the record they have now and it's ridiculous they're being praised for it and are heading towards the Playoffs.
  20. The Hills are Alive with the Sound of it.
  21. Playing Purdue as soon as possible is a good thing.
  22. Don't know I missed this the first time. Priceless.
  23. There is definitely something to be sad about patience for a QB. Of course, the Portal usually works against it in college, when a QB will jump if he isn't starting. Hurrah for Dante Moore, who probably would be starting for UCLA this Saturday, but instead, is thinking of the future ahead of him starting next season at Oregon.
