  1. The worst Washington fans can come up with now: If Oregon can't win the Natty this year, they never will!
  2. And you know, you just can't recruit to Nebraska. Just can't be done.
  3. This kid is showing his academic prowess already. Prediction: Oregon Ducks poised to flip key Washington Huskies commitment WWW.SI.COM Troy (California) four-star tight end Vander Ploog has been committed to the Washington Huskies since early this summer...
  4. Of course, Miami has been saved at home and on the road.
  5. Eugene's elevation? It was the broadcasters who were high.
  6. How is Ohio State No.4 and Indiana No.13, Indiana 8-0, Ohio State 7-1. Indiana 56 Nebraska 7, Ohio State 21 Nebraska 17.
  7. Needless to say, Joel Full of KLATT had a comment on a play when a Nebraska WR was flagged for OPI for extending his arm and pushing the defender to create space, says JFOK, "the official has to call that."
  8. Urban Meyer, and others said that Ohio State's woeful non-conference schedule would come back to hurt them, and mothing has been truer. After sleepwalking, they found themselves having to play Oregon @ Autzen. After that L, and requisite whining, they had a week to do nothing but cry about it even more, then they play Nebraska, coming off a 56-7 beating by Indiana. Ohio State, with a lot of help from the Ref's escaped that one, but Penn State is next.
  9. The Answer, quite a lot. 4 calls refs made to screw Nebraska out of upsetting Ohio State FANSIDED.COM
  10. The key is make sure the Oregon quarterback is No.8 Heisman Trophy Odds: Oregon Ducks Dillon Gabriel Jumps Miami's Cam Ward WWW.SI.COM Quarterback Dillon Gabriel of the No. 1 Oregon Ducks had himself quite the day in the handling over No. 20 Illinois Fighting Illini at...
  11. Unless it's officiated by the ACC, couldn't happen.
  12. He is truly bragging about Miami being better than nothing.
  13. A big thanks to Nick Saban and Kirby Smart and Cristbal for teaching Lanning and getting him here, and he's still learning! Kamikaze mentioned the top level coaching he's utilizing so far, not even mentioning the high velocity onsides kick or the Lanning Rule. If ever a team has bought into their coach, it's this one. As much as Chip's team were all his, this team is even more Lanning. The identity Lanning has forged has truly elevated this already most talented Oregon team ever assembled into the best team Oregon has ever had.
  14. So true. Stats can lie. Nobody who watched the game believes that Illinois held Oregon to a field goal in the 2nd half. Oregon rendered Illinois irrelevant after the first 3 minutes.
  15. Yes, I’m aware that Illinois got its doors blown off in Eugene on Saturday. However, going across the entire country to face the No. 1 team in the country is hardly a good spot for the Illini and, all told, it was far from as bad as the scoreboard would have you believe on Saturday. Yes, it was.
  16. Dan's The Man, Day is that man!
  17. I'll take proud for now, but definitely not cocky. The last time the Ducks were No.1 it didn't go well. This time since climbing to the top of the mountain, the Ducks look like they've been there before.
  18. I was thinking about that, and I'm almost certain that after 53 games, Lanning is above 46-7.
  19. This is just some guy predicting the poll tomorrow, Ohio State remains at number four because it did win this game, but this was not the performance you want to see from this team coming off a loss and a bye week. Penn State awaits in Happy Valley next week. He's probably right, but Oregon dropped from 3 to 9, and they won both games.
  20. It did have a surreal quality, it should feel more natural next week at the "Big House"
  21. Upon review and incontrovertible evidence, you're right,
  22. With you there. Over the entire season, Oregon has not looked as bad as Georgia did in the first half against Alabama, and Alabama is definitely dealing with issues, but Georgia completely de-horned the Longhorns, so Georgia, who struggled against Kentucky, have as their best wins, Alabama and Texas. The poll has it right.
  23. The Stoop's family, Bobby Hurley, who thankfully we don't have to see anymore, set the standard. It's a new Day at Ohio State. Somehow, finding out that the Buckeyes aren't invincible has really messed theeOhio State up.
  24. Ryan Day blew up on the sideline over a call, so I don't think Neuheisel was right that Ohio State was just looking past Nebraska and will be fine next week at Penn State. If Nebraska had been competent in the red zone early, they'd have won. Somebody wrote that Oregon might have broken Ohio State, and I agree.
