“I think it gives Lincoln Riley a little bit more respect,” PicKell said on The Hard Count. From Colin Cowherd maybe.

George Kliavkoff is now Working AGAINST Oregon
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I will have to disagree with you here. Oregon has established its own "identity", Oregon is a national, in fact, international brand. It has been the winningest team, football & basketball for a long time, it has the best facilities in the NCAA, and the best track and field stadium in the world, Oregon has done too much to better itself to go down with a sinking conference. To the family and friends, I have at other schools, I say, "see you on the other side." -
The Conference Dominoes Start with Notre Dame...in a Few Days
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I'd be fine with that. -
I agree, Axel that UCLA being included with the "best" is ridiculous and USC hasn't been in that category for some time. But the sentiment is pure Cow... if he'd been in charge on the Titanic, forget "women and children first" it would have been, 'What's in your wallet?"

Absolutely agree. It was poor form that UCLA and USC did it this way, as OK and Texas did with their move to the SEC. But if the news yesterday had been that Oregon had found a landing spot before the Pac-12 went under, I'd be happy. Oregon does have options, and would be an asset to any conference, the Pac-12 is "Dead Man Walking" now.

Clearly in Left Field...The PAC Retains All Schools
30Duck replied to 1Funduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
This is great to see. That article posted a while ago and now this show Oregon being a national brand is not just us tossing it out there. Oregon would be an asset to any conference, it kept the Pac-12 afloat the last decade. I hope that Crepea is right , Mullens is busy talking with other conferences and maybe that "academic prowess" insititution could tag along, like UCLA is doing with USC -
5-Star Mookie Cook Decommits from Ducks Basketball

Wow, I'm glad I read this before I drank a whole lot of Paul Newman's Lemonade & Limeade, verry good point about 3 for 4 >5 for 1. -

Two Potential Pac-12 Trap Games For the Ducks
30Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The Hollywood ending I'm looking to regarding Justin is one where he turns down the offer from his old team and then they say, "thanks" and unmercifully stomp the golden bears. The Cougs are always scary, QB will throw for 580 yards, but then this D will make some halftime adjustments and the Ducks will get out of the Palouse with the W. -
Is Washington Becoming the Next 'Cal' in the Conference?
30Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
UW probably won't be Cal because I feel like Cal, its coaches and fans are fine the way it is. Cal doesn't have a "tradition" of greatness to rest on, nor does it think it's football power now. as Washington does. Compared to the atmosphere of the Oregon program, Cal football is a club sport. Washington still acts like it can contend for championships, compete with Oregon and USC, I don't think many at EWW Dub consider Utah a threat, so apathy hasn't set it, yet. But DeBoer will become TheBore if he doesn't win. -
It's all we got for now,

Definitely a double feature, Pac-12-SEC battles. I don't loathe Florida like some other teams, I mainly hate the.Gators for 2006-07 when Tajuan Porter's 3's kept clanking off the rim...pain!!!

Absolute agreement! Being at Autzen for a game was a huge part of KT picking the Ducks. Meanwhile at Washington, I hear paddle boating outside Husky Stadium is an absolute blast.

I've reached a level of loathing toward, "THE" than can be raised no longer. It just goes on boiling. The victory at the 'shoe, combined with the win by the Tall Firs in 1939 over Ohio State are cherished occasions. It would be great if the Ducks could do the THE what they have done to the Eww bunch, but the THE actually have good, if not great teams, so it will take a while, but as Khan told Captain Kirk,

I have great confidence in Coach Graves, ever since I heard him tell an interviewer once what he attributes his coaching success too, and he pointed to the court where Sabrina, Ruthy and Satou were playing, "Them". The 2019 Lady Ducks basketball team was in my mind the greatest Ducks team of all time. The loss of 3 of the players in the 1st round of the draft speaks to that. Sabrina was Magic Johnson., not as tall, but could do everything, and played with the mindset of scoring when needed. Ruthy, 33 sots in a row without a miss, amazing at the basket, and Satou, a gazelle on the court, could shoot a 3, and it was amazing that when it looked like there was no room at all, Sabrina would find her at the basket for a layup. There's a reason the other teams hated the Ladies, and still do a little. They're not on top now, but the players assembled for next season look like they're ready to restore order

Washington Back in Bowl in 2022: 'Definitely Maybe'

Washington should start finding the end zone again and make a quick return to competency. -
Hometown Recruit REJECTS Huskies, Creates Madness at Montlake
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I want to thank the Huskies and their fans for doing so much to entertain us for quite a while now. Aside from Coach 17 bathrooms & Cowherd, the only team to generate Buzz in the Pac-12 is Oregon. Washington Boards can't go 3 posts without bringing Oregon up. For a bit of diversity, every once in a while, somebody will post that Oregon is not everything that is wrong with the world, but that's basically just chumming for more vitriol towards the green and yellow. -
Oregon Heavy Favorites to Land 4-Star CB Caleb Presley
30Duck replied to kirklandduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
You know there is a lot of highly rated football talent ooozing out of Washington high schools, fortunately they have enough prowess to get out of there! -
Johnny Rodgers, Greg Pruitt, back in the 70's we can remember when Oregon went to Neb. and OK, and got slaughtered, '74 at Nebraska, 61-7, '75 at Oklahoma, 62-7 Not so much in these games, but those teams were fun to watch!
