It wasn't a spectacular car, but when I saw the license plate, I wanted to congratulate the driver for making the trip over here from Hawaii.

YouTube: Greatest Plays in Ducks Football History
30Duck replied to Drake's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
A great post, Drake. I'm sure Washington has one, but it's in the Short Film category. They do an award for their supporting role in, "The Pick" -
I'll admit. So far I've been impressed and pleased with what's been going on at Arizona. I will stop feeling this way when they accomplish more than just being the best team in their state.

Not Sports--Just a Pic of My New Granddaughter

Family Of Ducks just got bigger, congrats, Grampa! -
As LaMichael used to say, most definitely. Cristobal was definitely intense, and that did not make him a great in-game coach. So, it's hard to say what Venables is really getting at. Carroll had a very loose appearance on the field during games, and it seems usually during practices. Saban doesn't appear to be "cool & casual" during games. If Lanning has role models, they'd probably be Smart and Saban and that should work. Bobby Bowden was as cool as could be.

I'm with you on everything but the last two. I'm going 3-1, and doubting maybe, but more and more Oregon was just a mess when the Utah games were being played last season that I take less from them now, and it's Utah at Autzen in a big game at the end of the season. Corso and The Duck will hug on GameDay and the Ducks will beat the Utes.

Josh Pate Recruiting Assertion: Just How True IS THIS?
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Great points. When Helton was at USC, we saw that Destination schools aren't coach proof, recruiting did go down at SC, especially from their own backyard. Also, is Cristobal's recruiting magic muted a bit when he's in an area now where more 4's and 5's are plentiful than when he was at Oregon? Smith at OS gets the "do more with less" tag. But would he get more and do more if he was at a bigger school? -
I wait for it every week. Penn State is a big hold out, they look to have the same uniforms, they don't have names on the back either, that they had back in the 70's. There have been a few uniform combo's that didn't work, but overall, I've liked them. When I think of Marcus the first image, I get is the all yellow against Michigan State, LMJ I see in green. The softball team looks great when they wear yellow But it seems like traditional jersey colors have gone away where sports are concerned. You never know what color either team will be wearing now.

Canzano: Trail Blazers' Fate Hangs in the Balance
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Agreed. He wasn't Jerry Jones, actually worked hard to avoid publicity, but his basketball knowledge was well known. Unfortunately, who was going to tell the owner to back off? -

Canzano: Trail Blazers' Fate Hangs in the Balance
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I used to be a huge Blazers fan, but lately, like the past 25 years or so, I haven't really followed them. They do have a following, the Moda Center is often sold out for games, BlazersEdge is a popular site, and I see a lot of Trail Blazers license plates. What if the Trail Blazers are sold and become the new Seattle Super Sonics? -
If they're incredible, get them some PT, but realistically your team is in better shape if the freshmen can wait. Which Oregon freshmen are most likely to play this fall? 247SPORTS.COM Here are my predictions for which members of Oregon's 2022 signees will play this fall and which will use redshirts.

I remember way back in the day that a Lincoln Continental Mark lV was the coolest car there was, and green doesn't often work on cars, but I think it does here:

That opening was as bad as it could get. Who knew from that game that Oregon would be the team to unleash an offense that would revolutionize football, and that was against Boise State, not the defending champ at a "neutral field" I feel like the longer the game stays competitive the better Oregon looks, the worse Georgia looks. -15 Georgia is the line right now. Oregon is breaking in a new QB, a new HC, a new DC, a new OC. The players will be adjusting to new roles. Georgia is the team with the pressure on it.

Really? The 10 Best Names in Texas College Football
30Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
There was a John David Booty that played at USC. He backed-up Leinart for 3 years and started in 2006. -

Somebody's List of Top 10 Coaches in Each Conference
30Duck replied to savagefund's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I'd have somebody else 10th in the Pac-12 and have Herm at the bottom. I guess Riley deserves the top spot. Chip was 46-7 at Oregon, but is 18-25, 64-32 overall. If this is just ranking by winning % it's kind of useless. Smith will probably always be the doing more with less at Oregon State, Wilcox seems content to do the same at Cal. Can't really see a justification for grading him as a head coach yet but would still have him above Herb. -
A tour de force, Axel.

Oregon’s QB1: Who Gets The Nod Week 1?
30Duck replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The good thing is that if Nix isn't hurt but either Thompson or Butterfield is the starter against Georgia means they must have had a great summer and fall camp!
