  1. Make it happen Ducks. We'll see early if this is a prediction or prescience. Ball movement, which leads to better shots, is only more crucial with the absence of Duarte and Figueroa.
  2. Absolutely. Even in the loss to Arizona, the defense was on! The 57 Arizona scored was well under their conference average of 66.7. The only time Arizona scored less than 57, was the 54 they scored in their loss to Stanford.
  3. Agree completely with this. A common term of designation is whether a player will be a "Rotation" or not. Oregon's "rotation" is deeper than most. Great observation!
  4. Verdell wanted to rush for 1000 yards every season, even the shortened 2020. In the first two games he ran for 100 yards against Stanford and Washington State. But the rest of the season didn't go as planned.
  5. Thanks for that, especially this,
  6. Agree on the Ducks out rebounding and shooting better,
  7. So much for tightening the rotation? Only Kylee Watson didn't play, and, after losing to Colorado, Stanford lost its second game in a row, 70-66 to UCLA.
  8. A far cry from the 80+ points they had been averaging before the Arizona game, where they scored 41. Even though the points aren't where they're expected to be, they did end up out rebounding the Cougars, 49-36. They also shot better, 39% to 25%, overall. The 3 is still not working for the Ducks, 14%, WSU was 22%.
  9. Defense Gets Ducks Back On Track by GoDucks.com The first quarter looked a lot like the last game against Arizona, 2 points in the first quarter, until a 3 made it 5. But in the third quarter it was tied at 38. It would have been 39-38, but a film review showed Taylor Mikesell's left foot was on the 3 point line.
  10. There was 3:22 left in the 1st quarter.
  11. Washington's current home winning streak is 0. Even when they only had home games last season which could have padded their record.
  12. How much better can Noah Sewell get? That will be one of new DC Tim DeRuyter's first priorities with Sewell and Oregon's other linebackers.
  13. Mario Cristobal wanted him all along, but why?
  14. Absolutely. This is not some out of left field scenario. It is simply treating Division 1 football in the same manner as is Div.2, and basketball. The interest, by fans across the country in thse playoffs, and the money they generate, should be the model.
  15. UCLA, where apathy towards football reigns supreme could surge past USC if it stays stuck in Clay.
  16. That sure didn't look like team we'd come to know against Arizona.
  17. If Mario thought that DeRuyter was the best DC out there, I'll go with that, he's got an impressive record of picking assistants. Mario didn't pick him just because the "Matrix" said to, but whatever it was that prompted that recommendation must have had some resonance to it.
  18. Remember when the Chargers head coach said Justin, "was a back-up for a reason"? Anthony Lynn was fired for a reason.
  19. I am extremely happy to hear this. Redd does bring experience and he has always been a very reliable player on the field. His leadership to a bunch of new receivers will be very important.
  20. We gotta get this guy, we already have KT and TT, now we NEED JTT!
  21. Yesterday, the Huskies did beat the Buffaloes for their 1st conference win, (1-7) and second overall, (2-11).
