I don't think one should take too much from Notre Dame's or Penn State's blowout wins, they were both against CFP space fillers and did little to show how good the Irish or Nittany Lions are. Notre Dame did all it had to with the 98 yard TD run. Penn State didn't have to use Warren at all on offense, and besides wind sprints for a couple of Pick-6's, the defense just had to go through the motions.
