  1. Except for that Mahomes guy at KC, the Ducks QB's are taking over the AFC West!
  2. Now this is an honest assessment from the "Blue and Maize" The gauntlet begins next week with No. 1 Oregon coming to town, and while no one is expecting an upset in Ann Arbor, maybe, just maybe there are some reasons to think that it will not be a complete embarrassment.
  3. Is Nick Saban the greatest coach ever, who started at Toledo, then went to a B1G school, Michigan State, then coached at LSU an SEC school, then in the NFL, with the Miami Dolphins, then at another SEC school, Alabama?
  4. Could it be that he knows the 'Canes are 5-3 without divine intervention from the ACC Review Center in the sky?
  5. Success at what? And that should be Gnaw, for a Beaver.
  6. I do feel sorry for Mike Parker.
  7. This another game, when either Oregon wins the toss or not, starting with the ball is good. Get it, take it down the field and go up, 7-0. Nessler & Danielson will say, "Oregon did that against Illinois last week". then dispatch Michigan, get the ball back and do it again. By this time, N & D will have brought up how different Michigan is without Harbaugh. Too help fill time, N & D will talk about the last time Oregon came to the "Big House" as the Duck's lead becomes insurmountable with a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. A pick-6 would be fun but that's a lot to ask for against Michigan.
  8. Cignetti does fit the profile, but, and perhaps why they're down in the rankings, Indiana hasn't played anybody, but should be ranked higher than BYU, Iowa State and Ohio State. Still, Vandy, A & M, BYU, Iowa State > Prime. Lanning should get it but agree why he probably won't.
  9. They did last year. BREAKING: Oregon flips Ohio State 4-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan 247SPORTS.COM Oregon has flipped the commitment of 4-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan.
  10. No sorry here, unless it's like you have overall when somebody gets hit by a train, and even then, "Get off the track!" But Oregon State has done all of this to itself. "Sure, I ate 3 pounds of Hershey bars, washed down by 4 big Gulps every afternoon, but diabetes?
  11. Cignetti I can understand, but Sanders? There's a coach in the B1G, his team is No.1. He's doing a pretty good job. Several college football teams, notably the Indiana Hoosiers and the Colorado Buffaloes, have surprised with their performances this season. Both of their head coaches, Deion Sanders and Curt Cignetti, are thought to be the front runners for Coach of the Year honors.
  12. Day is dealing with injuries, not his fault, though it seems like Oregon has been without their top defensive player for 3 games now, including the Buckeyes, and are managing to cope. Day's record doesn't come close to getting a coach fired, that's overall. But in the most important games, it hasn't gone well. Ohio State and its fans will only put up with so much, and when a coach has a scream fest on the sideline, it's getting to him.
  13. Right now, Oregon controls its destiny, and I think Indiana runs the table.
  14. Close call against Nebraska should have everybody officially off Ryan Day bandwagon FANSIDED.COM Even in a win, this was a pretty pathetic performance from the Buckeyes.
  15. And Don James is a Washington Huskie icon.
  16. Off their season changing absolute stomping of Rutgers, SUC opens -2.5 @ Washington. Game can be seen on Animal Planet.
  17. It was shared, but it was In 1991, Washington split the national championship with Miami. The Huskies and Hurricanes both finished 12-0, with the Associated Press naming Miami its champion but several other selectors, including the Coaches Poll and Football Writers Association of America, chose Washington.
  18. The way the season played out; I have to agree about Penix, although maybe Washington just isn't allowed to have a Heisman winner. If this season continues the way it's going I think it comes down to Gabriel and the No.1 Ducks against Hunter and the Buffs. Regionally, it will be close, but I think the Gabriel gets it, Woodson beat Manning out in 1997.
  19. The worst Washington fans can come up with now: If Oregon can't win the Natty this year, they never will!
  20. And you know, you just can't recruit to Nebraska. Just can't be done.
  21. This kid is showing his academic prowess already. Prediction: Oregon Ducks poised to flip key Washington Huskies commitment WWW.SI.COM Troy (California) four-star tight end Vander Ploog has been committed to the Washington Huskies since early this summer...
  22. Of course, Miami has been saved at home and on the road.
