My most exciting game ever at Mac Court involved sitting behind the beavs student section with a couple friends, including Russ Francis and a couple offensive linemen... Never felt so safe at a rivalry game!

While the fuskies did provide d-stain for the PNW division of the the pac (and now the B1G), I, too hold them in disdain. I will sadly watch their attempt to win a semi-legit bragging right, vs the whoa-verines, simply because Jim Harbaugh may be the only thing I disdain more... I think I just experienced a gerd episode.

Would love to see OBD go 3-0 in that stretch, but that would require at least one game of fuski-esque "luck", IMHO. Go Ducks! Let's get future this Oregon retiree his first NC run!

I still believe the right DC hire may well have made a difference. Elevating Allioti instead of Helf may have resulted in Helf moving on, but we'll never know. Hindsight in most instances, provides strong evidence of promoting to the level of incompetence is a reality to which guys like Helf, Frost, and the recently dismissed Chargers coach give sad testimony.
