All I know, is I have been in Autzen when it WAS dead quiet... In the beatdowns of the 70's. I also attended games like the MeatChicken barbecue when Clemens lead Oregon to victory, and couldn't carry o a normal conversation for hours. Myears rang for a couple days. I'm have no doubt being a regular attendee of Oregon has contributed to my tinnitus and need for hearing aids (Which I never wear to a Duck Football game, anywhere!)

Yup. Both my Mom and Grandmother passed from complications of fall related hip fractures. My mother was in her 70's, but had been in dialysis for close to 10 years. Grandma was 83, and although she was pretty mentally and physically fit for her age, the decline was really quick. My prayers are with Kirby and his extended family.
