  1. Yes! Stanley Cup series continues....have a feeling this one goes to 7. Nothing like a Stanley Cup Game 7.....the bourbon cabinet may need to be replenished.
  2. Completely agree. Establishing DL recruiting dominance is the last brick in the wall. We can and have competed everywhere else on the recruiting front. If I had to pick two 5 stars from this visitor list, it would be Hicks and DJU
  3. My guess is that it is a part of this project: University releases plans for a future indoor practice facility AROUND.UOREGON.EDU The 170,000-square-foot building, funded with private gifts, is expected to open in 2024
  4. Am I the only one who finds it hard to follow the softball team? Don't get me wrong...I want to and have tried to in the past. But there is always a LOT of "palace intrigue" around the team from my perspective. Gossip about coaches, past and present, countless transfers, rumors and innuendo on the fan forums but no one ever can speak authoritatively on what's happening. The impression I get is that you are told as a fan: shut up, don't ask questions, things are complicated, next year is the year. Kinda leaves me flat. Am I the only one?
  5. Only Phil Knight's involvement gets me to care about the Blazers or the NBA anymore. My 12 year old self from 1977 is still in shock about how little I care about the team or the league. Vulcans continue to make the same mistake....never fully committing to a strategy. I understand Dame is good, but to rebuild, he's the only guy who can bring value right now and should be traded. Admittedly, his rapping will be tough to replace.
  6. I also think it's difficult when you need 4 or more players at a position in a class. In such cases, you need to evaluate and get some 3 stars to fill in the roster. Getting multiple 4 and 5 stars in one class at one position, as the Ducks need to do at both CB and Safety this year, is tough except at OL where there are 5 starting positions.
  7. Heard rumblings about this....is Vin Lannana coming back?
  8. Indeed.....courtesy of THE OSU and it's fanbase
  9. TL:DR version of the 50 plus Husky fan's typical post:
  10. Note at the end of this article, an update suggests Moore may visit Meatchicken prior to coming to Oregon and then heading to the Elite 11 in SoCal.
  11. I really hope things work out for this kid despite him not choosing the Ducks. It seems as though the equivalent of the AAU hoops grifter agent/hanger-on types are now getting into the ear of high school footballers in the NIL era. What could go wrong?
  12. Dear Mister Fantasy play us a tuneSomething to make us all happyDo anything take us out of this gloomSing a song, play guitarMake it snappy Oh yes, and a coupla 5 stars to boot.
  13. In Florida and much of The South, it's vitally important to keep the boys dusted in the humid season.
  14. Frankly, I am always dubious about PNW rankings. Especially at 247. A mixed bag at best.
  15. All of his schools of interest appear to have been east of the Rockies, except Oregon. Sounds like being out-of-state was important to him. This may highlight another aspect of NIL......the prioritization of those dollars in the roster management process. We have about 7 TE's on roster, how much of the budget are they willing to spend to get another one?
  16. Where Oregon goes at tight end after 4-star and top target Riley Williams cuts the Ducks 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Coaching staff got some tough news Tuesday morning with Top 100 prospect and the state of Oregon's top prospect Riley Williams eliminated Oregon from Time to go after a 5 star TE
  17. What...no Tony Cherry? Maybe he wasn't a Coach Campbell RB?
  18. Imagine the Keith Moon offensive gameplan? OK, I'm back. As I posted in the similar thread, all I needed to see was the second half of the bowl game and the Spring Game to know that the scheme was issue, not the roster.
  19. I think Seven McGee got an offer when he was toilet-trained--or thereabouts-- if memory serves?
  20. Wow, that's some strong prognostication skills on display there. UW above us alone is enough to identify obvious cognitive bias, Stanford is the final clue.
  21. I don't have subscriptions to the recruiting sites but I wonder what happened here. One of the sites suggested that the Ducks had an outside chance of getting commitments this weekend from a trio of 5 stars, one of which was an OL, I believe? I wonder if that predicted OL was Proctor or a different recruit?
  22. Just read the Kayden Proctor dropped us....top OL according to some recruiting rankings. Oregon Recruiting: 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor cancels visit to Oregon DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Tough break for the Ducks. 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor canceled his OV to Oregon and took the Ducks out of his final schools.
  23. We may have the youngest roster in the Power 5 this year. While the talent is there, Big Dan is a rookie coach. I expect growing pains.
