RIP Bill Walton - Dead of Cancer at Age 71

I was gutted when Pre died. Today feels the same. Though Bill's record-setting days were over, unlike Pre's, he was living his best life as an elder statesman and broadcaster. My two childhood heroes gone. I ran track and played basketball because of those two athletes. Bill turned me into a Deadhead too. It all rolls into one..... -

Nothing about this is surprising to me. Feel badly for the victim and hope he gets paid. Assault someone, blame them and then blow off court thinking there won't be consequences? Character counts. -
Big Dave U. Tweets Peyton Woodyard to Ducks!!

tOSU has a loaded roster, too....though I am much less familiar with the individual players they have. As for OBD, DL and Safety were my concerns coming into this Spring. I believe Charles and others expressed the same assessment. Not only did the Danimal go out and fill those gaps, he did so with arguably the best options available. Ice water in his veins, stone cold assassin.....like Payton Pritchard icing the Dawgs in Hec Ed with a dagger 3 at the OT buzzer. -

Sean Payton: 'Bo Nix Was ALWAYS my No. 1 QB...'

Todd McShay called the Nix pick arrogant because no NFL expert he spoke to had Nix in the first round. If I were a different kinda guy, I would say something about keeping receipts on Todd. -
Eric Mangini was bad mouthing Nix on Cowherd's show.....judging by the "weird reaction" in the Bronco's war room when the pick was made. Claims they wanted McCarthy instead and settled for Bo. Seemed unnecessarily disparaging and an odd position to take given Payton's immediate reaction to the pick.

Growth, Development, Showing Up Across the Team

Aaron Flowers showed out to me.....dare I say he was Holland-esque? And we'll need him now that DeCambra is in the portal and Savage has a shoulder ding. I hope the Duke kid still makes it to Eugene....can you tell I am still a tad worried about the back end? -

The co-founders of Boneyard, sold to Gary Fish, founder of Deschutes Brewing. Tony Lawrence conceived of Boneyard after working with Gary at Deschutes for years and learning brewing from Oregon craft beer legend John Harris, who founded Ecliptic Brewing, which just sold to Ninkasi. Tony and co. still have the original Boneyard brewery where they do seasonal and single batch brews, while Deschutes handles the bulk brewing for Boneyard that goes into cans for distribution. Brewery - Boneyard Beer BONEYARDBEER.COM Back to the Boneyard Boneyard Beer was started with one goal in mind – make great beer. In 2010, Boneyard Beer was created in an old auto shop tucked away in the backstreets of Bend, … Continue reading -
So, the Daylen Austin news may factor into the portal dynamics? As for the nose position, I heard on one of the podcasts that Coach Tuioti is very high on Amauri at Nose....he played 80+ snaps last season and has some of the most "violent hands" Coach has seen. The O-live reporter, James Crepea, has a 4-deep with Caldwell starting at Nose, Amauri as backup, and Keyon at the Dorlus spot with Caldwell backing him up. 3 guys for 2 DL spots seems thin to me, too. I expected 2 or 3 DL transfers, we have 1 so far in Caldwell.....who's next? Oh, and F that bastard Jonathan Smith for holding on to the MSU guy....

Remember when Chip convinced Jeff Lurie to give him roster management control from Howie Roseman in Philly? He hired his own guy, made a bunch of bad trades and was fired at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Howie is still there. That's why it would be foolish to hire him in the NFL again. Which likely means Spanos has Chip on speed dial. From NFL.com: The Eagles also announced that Ed Marynowitz, Kelly's hand-picked vice president of player personnel, was also released. It's a telling part of this change in direction. This firing comes nearly a year to the day that Kelly got control of the personnel department last offseason, leading to former general manager Howie Roseman having a reduced role on the football side of the team. Roseman, now an executive vice president, will be part of the group that hires the next Eagles coach.
