Annie, I should have made certain to state that taking away a husband‘s hobbies is not something that ALL women do. But in the Manosphere, where many divorced men write about their experiences, it is a very common phenomenon. And it was more than sports, because if the wife did not like the man’s dog or cat,… They would sometimes disappear, or the fellow would have to take it to a shelter. Again, not ALL women, but many do not approve of time spent on hobbies such as a forum like this. It is not a surprise that your husband was very lucky with you, as we have seen what a nice and reasonable person you are in this Message Board. Moving on!

Online...quite a few men have reported this, and had to give up their hobbies or sharply curtail them to keep the wife happy. And it matches with my own experience! But anyone can disagree, no sweat.

Wives often don't like men to have hobbies, and will discourage them from taking part or at the minimum--frown on the "wasted time." If my "ex" had her way, FishDuck.com would have been shut down years ago, and the Our Beloved Ducks forum would have never been begun. Did I listen to her?

I believe that was play-calling, to purposely NOT score a boatload of points--just win the games. I believed he would be unleashed in the Playoffs, but alas...was injured. The only upside to his injury is his return for 2025, giving Moore some proven receivers to throw to, in addition to the young-guns joining us.

His stats are underwhelming, but apparently our coaches feel they had QB problems at FSU, and he will do better here...

It is rare for me to disagree with Darren as I do in this article, but I do NOT believe the Buckeyes would prevail nine out of ten times. We would not be rusty each time, and we would have EVAN STEWART stretching defenses. And besides....when osu2 wins a couple, they get full-of-themselves. I think ten game series would turn out just as this season did: 50/50 of the games. We are the team that barely beat Boise State? Play the Broncos now and we would win easily....we had offensive line problems in that game where solutions where applied in the second half, thus we survived. But this is three months later, and Oregon is a much better team. When we win, people over-react. When we lose, people over-react. It is the life as a fan...

Five weeks until Baseball, Baby! We finished No.12 in the nation, the last two years in a row, and we are poised to have a great year! From winning football, to winning basketball, to winning Baseball! Gotta love it!
