Mycah Pittman Back to the Pac-12
A decent receiver but I think his locker room presence is probably a distraction, his attitude on the field is less than stellar. If I remember correctly he got more than a couple stupid PIs.

Holy Crap! Oregon's New QB Verbal Runs a 10.49?
He dose seem to have some Mariota traits. When passing plays break down he scrambles with intent to pass first run second. Throws very accurate passes mid stride while running. Has amazing speed and a nice little wiggle in the run game. Nice touch on his passes and seams to have a good feel on how hard he can throw it. Looks like his WRs need a lot of help and few if any are going on to college. Could be the reason he's only 3*. Could be heavily underrated, just hope he can transition to the big time.

FishDuck Take: Oregon Spring Game Concerns and Confidence
Bucky dropped the ball allot to start last year, do well give them the benefit of the doubt.

Spring Game Thoughts?
Let him bomb it, worst case scenario 45 yd interception best case scenario touchdown. The deep throws look to be one his strength anyways. This year's WR core looks to be one of the most lethal ever. Tez looks like a legit threat to take it to the house every time. Holden is a solid possession guy, Hudson has become more consistent and smarter, Franklin is the man and almost always seams to have a step on the defense. With these guys he'd have a hard time not doing something great down field. All of these guys go and get the ball and don't wait for it to come to them, which I love to see. Please don't ask him to lightly throw a ball to someone behind him when there's better options.

Spring Game Thoughts?
Already wise beyond his years, got to love a coaches kid. He looked very capable of having a big impact soon, with great instincts and the athleticism to keep with speedy WR.

Spring Game Thoughts?
The SEC transfers looked good, a little rusty but an upgrade across the board. Happy with the secondary for the most part. Looked like the guys competing for starting positions where not giving up a lot of easy passes. TTs looking better but not great, first pass of the game was 6 for the defense. Funa looks like he's picking up where he left off and could be a big factor on the edge this year. Surprised the D line didn't get more pressure on the QB which might be due to not being able to touch him. Was hoping to see more out of the LBs.

Duck Baseball: 4/28-4/30 vs No.12 ASU (Ducks WIN 11-5,16-10)(Game 3: Ducks LOSE 9-6 )
This team is really starting to run on all cylinders, both on offence and defend. Really fun to watch a team that disciplined and make very few mistakes. Go Ducks.

Having the twin towers next year will be amazing.

Transfer Portal Interests for Ducks
I know what they are trying to do I just don't like it nor do I think it's a great approach. The win now approach rarely works in college football, teams that have been together and work together come out on top most the time. Bryant quit the team after three games last season because he didn't get enough playing time. Those guys work out as long as you give them the ball a lot but if not they're nothing but a big distraction in the locker room. Looks like a very capable return man which we need but with the limited scholarships we have I think there's much thinner positions that need them more than the deepest WR room we've ever had.

Transfer Portal Interests for Ducks
Bring in another WR that going to take time away from the development of an extremely talented group of underclassmen doesn't seem to me to be a good move. We've heard good things about these guys are they going to stick around and wait for their junior or senior year for playing time? Personally I think there's so much talent on the team at WR that backups would start on most teams. Develop them for the future and leave the scholarship for a TE.

A Pretty Incredible Two Days for Our Beloved Ducks...
Great game, the pitching this year is really looking up and the batting is something to behold. When this team comes out swing watch out! The fielding has also been on point with very few errors and smart decision. How about that diving catch by Shade!

Canzano: Oregon Ducks Should Welcome the Bronny James Show
That would be a shame for Bronny, from what I've seen he's going to need to make a big jump to be NBA ready. Even if he did get on the NBA team would they play him? The team dynamic would be very interesting and talk about a distraction. He's going to need two to three years minimum of college to get ready for the big league otherwise he's just jeopardizing his career. Then again I guess he doesn't need the money so if your ultimate goal is to practice and maybe play at the professional level with your old man then all the power to them. I haven't gotten the I'm NBA ready vibe from him unlike many of the five-star recruits.

Jackson Shelstad - Best Player On the Floor at Hoop Summit
Shelstads looks to be the real deal and an early contributor to the Ducks. James and him seem to have a good chemistry together and could make up a core (think Pritchard and Duarte) duo for the next 2-4 seasons. Both of them are high energy hustle players that are quick on defense and deadly from outside. Dana is going to have to learn how to deal with media and for some reason I feel James is less of a primadonna than many of the five stars we had. From what I've seen of James he looks to be a team player and not afraid to play hard defense. Shelstad is going to need players around him, especially ones he can click with.

Canzano: Oregon Ducks Should Welcome the Bronny James Show
Surprisingly I actually like the move, I think this kid will have work ethic, profession, overall great sense of the game. He's a dangerous three-point shooter which has been lacking the last 2 years. ( By the way Peyton put up a triple double today!) Like it or not it's all about the Brand now. This would raise the profile of the University of Oregon and add to their media rights perceived value. Ultimately raising the profile of the University of Oregon athletic programs. I don't know why but I get the feeling that this will not end up like the Balls in UCLA, unlike some five-star players he has more to prove and could be a solid three to four year contributor. We lacked depth in multi-year players that have always driven the program in the past. That combined with the media exposure good or bad drives the desirability of the organ media market higher. I don't like it but it seems to be the way it is now, just look at the University of Colorado.

Nine Game Win-Streak? Five Ducks Hitting over .300? Whew!
The come back from 10 down was a great game. Don't even know why I kept watching when I tunedin in the 3rd and saw the score, sure glad I did. The pitching, especially the bullpen looks better this year. To many times last year we just didn't finish the game strong from the mound.
- What Programs Would You Like to See the Ducks Schedule in the Future?

Are the Oregon Ducks in Danger of Losing Dana Altman?
I think next year will be better as we will have a core group back that buys into his game plan. Love Richardson but he just didn't have "it" and couldn't be the on floor leader that the team desperately needed. Hope one of the seniors steps up and leads the team with those crucial crunch time shots and energy this team lacked. Also having a guy that shoots closer to 40% from three would help tremendously.

FUTURE MEMBER? REGARDLESS, HATS OFF TO SAN DIEGO STATE
UConn looks like the real deal, I don't think SDSU's bigs can hold up to UConn's. The Aztec's have surprise me every game and are great at D so you never know, I give them 30% chance.

FUTURE MEMBER? REGARDLESS, HATS OFF TO SAN DIEGO STATE
Really hope they pull it off and win the big one!

Coach Will Stein: Insight Into His Coaching Philosophy
I don't thing Mario would agree, my heart thanks the new coaching staff for giving me less computations.

Duck Baseball: 3/31- 4/2 @ Arizona (Game 3: Ducks WIN 8-5, SWEEP Series)
Great game, way to keep your heads in the game down 10.

Coach Will Stein: Insight Into His Coaching Philosophy
I really like that he's focusing on route running and not tipping your hand to the DB.

Lanning Can’t Accept Defensive Mediocrity in 2023
Your probably right but I hope Jacobs can takeover for Bassa at money. From what I've seen of Jacobs he is great in coverage sticking with smaller fast guys just fine while also being able to stand up to bigger TEs. He also looks to be a better tackler than Bassa. Bassa was in the right place often but he missed a lot of open field tackles and got pushed around by big TEs. If Bassa can step up and make tackles Jacobs and him could do great things in pass coverage. Otherwise I rather see what Brown and Jacobs can do. Jacobs is much better athlete. Only a one game sample but this guy is the real deal. jestin+jacobs+highlights - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM

MBB: Players Returning Next Season
If Jermaine Couisnard stays healthy and develops more consistency he could be a good leader next year. I like his game and when he's on he's hard to stop. Bittle had improved on offence and really need to learn how to defend without fouling which put him on the bench a lot. Great energy just needs to focus it. Soares is all over the place and is a really good defender. He's very athletic and has some great moves on offence but just never seams to finish. If he could figure out the offensive side and really practice is shots he could be a great player. Ware probably leaves for the NBA but he truly needs more time in college ball to mature into a better defender and team player. Hope he get some good advice or he's probably follow the likes of Wooten into obscurity. Dante has achieved what he's needed to to become a legitimate NBA player and will move on. Would be great to see him back but chances are slim. Barthelemey had some great game but tended to force up shots when he should of been dishing the ball to the to the bigs on his somewhat out of control drives. Hope you learns how to distribute the ball a little better and they could really help meld the team together. The Ducks basketball team has lacked returning players in the last few years which has really hurt the team cohesiveness. The more players that come back the better. With the talented incoming freshman class, having a veteran presence gives them time to find their roles and transition into the college game. It would be nice to have a year with less portal action.
