  1. As someone who cut the cord 10 years ago I look forward to as many of these games going to streaming services as possible. I don't pay $140 bucks a month for the Dish Network package that includes the pac-12 network and the DVR. I pay $135 a year for Amazon prime for my business which conveniently comes with music and video and now live streamed sporting events. Add on the Disney bundle with the ESPN for another $130 or so a year and between that and the new digital bunny ears I can watch just about everything you can with $140 a month Dish Network plan. Always hated the NFL Network just another thing I needed to buy just to watch a few football games a year.
  2. Those two moved amazingly fast for such big guys. Seems like teams are going for smaller faster guys nowadays. Buckner, Armstead and Jordan were all quite a bit heavier than Thibs or even DJ, they could really set an edge in the run game and get after the passer.
  3. I think it has a little bit more to do with an embarrassment of riches so many wide receivers with talent. Competing with Kris Hudson who was one of the bright points of last year's team and made a lot of tough catches on third down. Seven is elusive after the catch and has great speed but can he make the tough catch?
  4. I want to see the D look cohesive with LB flying to the ball and putting pressure on the QB with creative blitzes. DB's playing close to the line with Safety's providing over the top protection and LBs jumping the inside routes. From the O I would like to see Bo not stare down the receiver he's about to throw the ball too. Take care of the ball and continue to be creative.
  5. Amazon prime has 153 million subscribers in the US That's a whole lot of potential eyeballs. Most games in the pac-12 can only be watched by someone with Dish Network(outside of the West Coast) which is dying faster than most cable companies. Amazon prime will help greatly with recruits outside of the West Coast as most kids nowadays have access to prime and will actually be able to watch the game for a change. The pac-12 has been stifled way too long by extremely poor tv coverage. Amazon also won't be hampered by media market size as their more aware of the potential of the Oregon brand on a national stage not just a regional market. Also unlike ESPN and other streaming services they will not be hampered by bandwidth as Amazon owns AWS the biggest cloud provider there is. So you can always expect minimal latency and a smooth picture.
  6. Was glitchy for a day but better now. Android 13
  7. I really appreciate that they game planed to put EW away early. Many teams saw what letting lesser opponent hang around can do. Leave them with no hope after the first quarter just how I like it.
  8. Cardwell looks like a solid every down back. Dollars seams smooth and under control with good vision. Irving feels like once he settles down and starts catching the ball he could be the biggest weapon out of the backfield. Shifty with power and a he keeps his feet turning thru contact. Whittington seams apprehensive. Haasenritter looked like the most elusive back we have, hope to see him play some more.
  9. Other than the QB situation what we learned If Irving learns to catch the ball out of the backfield he could be very dangerous as he has a great center of gravity and seems to ping pong off or run through would be tacklers. He also shows great agility and acceleration. Ferguson is a beast and hope can keep it up against higher levels of competition. Rogers is looking like a Great get at DT always around the ball and in the backfield even against Georgia. Pretty quick for such a big guy! LBs and DB's need to find their rhythm in pass coverage. Quite a few third down coverages that were lacking, if it wasn't for drop passes and erratic throws there would have been a lot more pickups on 3rd down. Seem to me that they were not always on the same page and there was a lot of frantic talking in the backfield presnap. Dilly's offensive approach is a breath of fresh air! Love seeing wheel routes outside runs and screen passes on 3rd and 3 rather than a run up the middle. The good and the bad summed up is that as long as the offense avoids costly mistakes they will be doing just fine. Defense is doing a good job with the run game but really needs improvement in pass coverage from LB's and DB's.
  10. Keep in mind that five teams ranked higher than Miami lost, most of them to unranked teams. The move up in standings isn't so much about Miami and USC as the teams in front of them losing.
  11. If he cleans up his game he could be dangerous.
  12. Stared him down the whole time.
  13. Appalachian State upsetting Texas A&M! Cougars win.
  14. Appalachian State up three points on Texas a&m. The old division one champions are having a field day with ranked teams love to see the Little guy have a chance just hopefully not tonight against Oregon.
  15. Washington State is up three points against Wisconsin. Go PAC
  16. Notre Dame is overrated as usual.
  17. Marshall up 26 - 15 on Notre Dame. With 4:35 i left in the 4th.
  18. Reminds me of the Stony Brook game last year. Why you want to give a lesser opponent any opportunities you feel like they're in the game is beyond me.
  19. MC is up to his old tricks letting lesser opponents stay in the game by running the ball endlessly up the middle. Watching the game and listening to the fans they already seemed demoralized by the game plan of pound the ball.
  20. It was an amazing catch as he has to flip directions to make it. Starks was sitting back in zone thus watching Nix the whole time, if it had been man and Seven had a step then make that throw. Nix also needs to not stare at his target the whole time something a 4th year QB should be proficient at.
  21. First off both should have been caught. that being said QBs do need to make it as easy as possible as it is very hard to catch a 100 mph fast ball from 10 yards away. Brown was actually quite good at throwing to RBs with just the right amount of loft and speed.
  22. I disagree, just rewatched the play and Nix should have never thrown the ball, at no time was Seven open. The first interception showed just as bad judgment as the second one. Both INTs had wide open options but Nix predetermined his throws and doesn't seem to be very good at reading coverage.
  23. The safeties looked lost, Hill is still too slow to cover the slot and looked better when he was back and coming up to tackle. Bridges missed a lot of tackles and played too soft of coverage, that being said he didn't seam to be able to press and run with the WR's either. Bridges seems that he would be a lot more natural and safety as quick changes of direction especially on hooks seem to leave him standing still. The DB's seemed flat-footed, Gonzalez was the only one that looked the part.
  24. In last year's Auburn vs Georgia game the WR's dropped 5 catchable passes in the first half alone, including one deflected for an INT. The announcers we're talking about him needing to put some touch on the ball which was true but the ball did hit the players in the hands and should have been caught. This reminds me of the problem Herbert had in his early years with tons of drops passes because his WR's just couldn't handle his arm strength. Herbert could have won a Heisman with this year's WR's.
  25. Who fits the jack roller? Maybe one of the younger guys like Emar'rion Winston or Jaden Navarrette both guys with pass rushing background, edge seting skills but limited coverage skills. Or do you move a guy like Sewell over and let him get after the QB more with Flowe and Bassa in the middle? Sewell is definitely big enough has coverage skills and I'm sure he could set the edge, not sure about his technique as an edge rusher but I'm sure he could figure it out. Plus the NFL payday would be bigger.
