Trikweze Bridges Emerges Lockdown in Holiday Bowl?
Give him a few more years at corner and I'm sure he'll be an NFL level guy. Selfishly I want to see him at safety because I believe he could be the next big time playmaker. Safety play was very uninspiring this year.

Trikweze Bridges Emerges Lockdown in Holiday Bowl?
Every bowl season I'm reminded about how bad PAC 12 refs really are.

Trikweze Bridges Emerges Lockdown in Holiday Bowl?
I've been one of TBs biggest critics all year glad to see him have a great game. I still think he would be awesome at safety and much better in coverage than Stephens or Addison. I did like what I saw of JJ General.

Ducks Returning for Extra Year of Eligibility
Will that make Funa a 5 year starter? If memory serves me right he started his freshman year.

Who Fills Out Oregon's QB Room Behind Bo Nix in 2023?
Dan was coaching for National Championship and Jeff was coaching for Big Bowl Game. Dilly was coaching for a team he had been at for less than a year and probably said yes to the job right around the Washington game. MC new he was taking the Miami job around the first Utah game, coincidence I think not. If memory serves me correct Dan said yes to the Oregon job after the regular season, and is a class act for not bailing on his team mentally or physically. Maybe I should quantify it a little more if the coach is leaving for a job of the coach that was fired mid-season and are taking over a complete dumpster fire maybe they should be relieved of responsibilities as they are already probably spending a lot of time figuring out how to pull their new team out of the hole and not so worried about their old team.

Who Fills Out Oregon's QB Room Behind Bo Nix in 2023?
Always seams the coaches that are on their way out drop the ball on game planning. To busy getting everything inline for the next job. I'm starting to feel that if a coach is interviewing elsewhere they should be dropped from any team responsibility and let an interim pickup the slack. MC definitely dropped games on his way out.

It's Official - Dante Moore Flipped to UCLA
I think there new new strategy for recruiting QBs should be go after three star and low four-star prospects willing to sit and learn if they don't pan out get a transfer portal QB. No big NIL money upfront for QBs that are unproven. If the three star works out pay him if he doesn't get the best portal QB money can buy. This whole thing is starting to sound a lot more like how I run my business with hiring and firing. The qualified person that wants the big bucks, has a big ego and makes big promises is not always the best person for the position. I personally find that starting someone off at a lower wage and training them myself pays dividends in the long run.

Thibs Scoop And Score
Makes you wonder if what could have been at Oregon had had more help on the D Line.

Looking Like Dante Moore Is Going to UCLA
I'm taking the same route mostly because it will be what it be regardless and I can't take the drama.

BOOM! Bo Nix is Back for 2023!
Awesome news, can't wait to see how the rest of the Domino's fall! I feel like a positive of NIL money is that guys like Bo can come back for his last year and not miss out on that much money.

Building Lanning’s Defense: The Linebackers
I think if they had not been thru three different defences and had been coached by Dan from the beginning it would have been different for them. Seams to me that LBs in this system need a high football IQ first and foremost as it's more complicated to know where you need to be on any given play.

Building Lanning’s Defense: The Linebackers
It will interesting to see if Bassa, in his second year of this style of D, can fill the role. He definitely needs to get better at tackling, seams like he was in the right place most the time but just tried to hit the guy instead of rapping then up. We really need someone to step into the leadership roll as the D just seamed headless most the time.

LB Jestin Jacobs Game Changer for Ducks D?
This team has needed a Troy Dye type player since Troy left. Could also use a Dominant safety that can lead the backend. The Ducks D had been spoiled with great safeties and we could use another.

Late-Season Learning Lumps With Lanning and Lupoi
Seams the LBs we're dragged into passes coverage way too many times to make up for DBs lack of ability. Not that the D Line helped by getting pressure on the QB making the LBs unable to plug the holes for the run. Classic Chicken or the egg.

LB Jestin Jacobs Game Changer for Ducks D?
Bassa, Brown, and Jacobs can cover the weak link was always Flowe and Sewell in pass coverage. While Jacobs may not be a game changer all by himself He's definitely a step in the right direction. Out of high school he was deemed a pretty good pass rusher as well. Not sure you was asked to do that in Iowa's defense as they had other that could, leaving him to defend TEs. TE is being a major component of passing games and one that gave us fits I'm hoping he frees up other defenders in the past game as he looks like he can lock down most TEs.

Transfer Portal: QUAAACK! Committed to Ducks
I really like the idea Bridges at safety, he's just not fluid enough to be a CB. His top end speed is fine, it's his transitions that are slow and put him behind quick WRs. In zone he sees the feild and can react but gets beat in man a lot. We could definitely use a game changing safety like we've had for do many years prior to this year

LB Jestin Jacobs Game Changer for Ducks D?
I believe it happened in the second game and he had surgery the next week so hopefully for him he'll be able to participate in spring ball and be 100% for the season. Just was really impressed with his coverage skills you don't see guys that big cover that well.

Sean Dollars Has a New Home
Always like Dollars, I was hoping he could have competed with Hudson for the slot.

LB Jestin Jacobs Game Changer for Ducks D?
Found this video about Jacobs, looks like exactly the kind of LB the ducks need. Hybrid LB/Nickel that stands 6-4, 238 LBS and has the coverage skills and quickness to cover slot receivers paired with the muscle to cover the big tight ends. Can set the edge against the run as well. This sounds exactly like what the Ducks were missing this year.

Justin Flowe to the Transfer Portal
Make way for three new! I think Brown could be pretty good if he gets more game time. The two 2022 LB's recruits in Jackson and Taggert are intriguing with there speed they could really help in pass coverage.

Oregon’s 2023 Defense Rebuild: Look to the Portal!
Funa still has a year left?! Seems like he's been here forever. That being said I like how he developed this year in the pass protection. He was a little shaky at the start of the season but by the end he was pretty locked in and made some big plays. He sets the edge extremely well in the run game but his pass rush had never been great. A guy that could benefit allot in the draft by staying another year and developing more coverage skills. His lack of pass rush ability could be nullified by his ability to cover TE's and the flats. He's never been the flashy guy but he's been solid and that pick 6 this year was awesome!
