  1. Great game! OT is always fun.
  2. Nix still making some avoidable mistakes but that's normal for a young QB in the league.
  3. Have to say Mariota is looking as good as I've seen him in the NFL. His throws are well placed.
  4. Oregon QBs facing off against each other on Sunday Night Football, so far both have had some great moments and some bad. Nix had an amazing TD throw as he was being dragged to the ground. Mariota has made timely runs and veteran throws.
  5. I fully agree with you having Dak and Gary makes it impossible for teams to double Sadiq all night. Most the time Dak was drawing doubles and running 2 guys way down the field to open up a lot in the passing game for everyone else. When Benson is your 4th pass catcher you have some pretty talented guys on the team.
  6. Atticus having a day, carrying the team.
  7. Run till they stop you then throw it over the top.
  8. It seems to settle his nerves a little too.
  9. Dante needs to just run on those wide open 3rd and shorts, he would have had it by a mile.
  10. Getting lots of pressure with only 4 rushers.
  11. Sloppy game with 18 turnovers that's the bad new. The good news is this team worked hard tonight and kept it close for most the game against the 21st team in the nation. If the Ducks get their offensive time right on a few more of those those mistimed passes and those go from turnovers to two points.
  12. Ball movent is picking up which is good overall but timing is still off. 5 Games in and this team is starting the process of gelling can't wait to see them at the half way mark.
  13. Don't love the jacking up 3s game plan this team is very hot and cold from 3.
  14. Wow 37-37 at the half. I tuned in late but liked what I saw the last 5 minutes of the half.
  15. Mixon on Lemon is a horrible ideas must have been a busted coverage.
  16. If Simpkins can start being the guy at the 3 point line like he was tonight things will start to gel and open up. Lot of new players need to figure out where they belong Shelstad being back will help a lot but it will take time.
  17. If you're going to take 35 3 pointers you better shoot the ball better than 30%.
  18. Definitely not, there's nothing to be gained by losing or winning.
  19. I was think the same thing, getting to play the number 4 team if you wine sound so much better than playing tOSU at 1.
  20. There's a few cautionary tales out there but by and large QBs who stay for their senior year end up with a better understanding of the game. Just look at Herbert, Nix, and Gabriel none of which I think would be doing as well in the NFL if they hadn't come back for their senior year. A former NFL announcer who started his career in the '70s and frequence my restaurant once regaled me with a story about Dak Prescott as a junior asking him for advice. He told Dak to stay in school and refine his game as he saw QBs get destroyed in the NFL when they didn't have enough starting experience. We we're talking about how NIL does have some positives. Lanning protected Nix his senior year and didn't ask Gabriel to do a whole lot of running either. He knows it's a bad look when you sacrifice your QB for a few yards. Throw in a few million in NIL maybe a commercial or two and you're making some serious money for a college senior. If you're going 1# then you have to go for it.
