Coaching Jobs: Stein a Hot Name
Unfortunately I think they would jump all over him, and if I'm being honest would probably be a good fit for him. I hate even saying this but UW has a lot of the same things as UO has going for it. If you're going to move into the head coaching position, you want to move to a place that will give you some time and support not just send you off to the guillotine after losing a couple of big games. I'm sure Fayetteville and Gainesville are lovely college town but one of the fancy Seattle suburbs could be a nice place to raise a family. Couple that with a chance to win a national championship and decent fan support if I was him I'd take that over an SEC Job.

Oregon Football: 2025’s Best Defender So Far
Mixon has more of the natural instincts and isn't caught out of position as much as Jackson. Jackson seams to take less than optimal angles leading to arm tackles or being just a step behind a WR sometimes he can makes up for this with speed and sometimes he gets burnt. Jackson had gotten better at this but feels like the guy who never learned a technique because he's just so naturally talented.

Stunned at All the Freshmen? Me-Too...
Is this possibly a rewarding for the hard work of the young players while resting the veterans in a long season scenario? Also the young players don't come out flat as they have something to prove even against a lesser opponent. No one wanted to see a repeat of Idaho last year and these guys came ready to play. A clear sign of who the real starters will be is in week 5. Till then it's still an audition with opportunity for resting players and developing players over the long season.

Post-Game: So...We OK at QB?
O so sweet! Overrated Bamma looked like the number 45th team in the nation not number 8. Let the whining, crying and excuses fly.

We'll see if these young QBs will get the chance to play more aggressively in the second half.

TEZ Won the Day!
Nice to see that he's still a matchup nightmare at the next level.

How Many Times in the Past 20 Seasons Has a First-Time, First-Year Starting Quarterback Won a National Championship?
I feel like this is fairly disingenuous, the ducks have only five starters from last year's team but they have a bunch of starters that transferred in with a lot of game experience. Almost the entire defense started last year for the ducks or their previous team with a couple exceptions. The offensive line is in the same boat and really the only positions without returning starters are QB and WR. I get that they're in a new scheme, but a senior who's got starting experience that transfers in from Northwestern or Purdue are pretty seasoned and won't make the freshman mistakes that many first-time starters would.

QUAAACK! Nation's No. 1 Corner Chooses OREGON!
The secondary has boatloads of incoming talent! It's been a few years since we've had a true impact player in the secondary now it looks as if we might have several. Great job by DL and the crew addressing a weak point in the defense.

Impressive JUCO Pitcher Verbals to Oregon
Have we found a new pitch coach or have any promising prospects yet? This kid looks like a great addition but he'll need some great guidance.

QUAAAACK, 5* Athlete Jett Washington Chooses Oregon
Great get, I hope he stays slimed down and plays at safety rather than bulking up to play line backer. It would be great to have someone who can compete with the big WRs and TEs that we've had trouble with in the past.

Oregon's Pitching Coach Headed to Oklahoma State
Let's hope it's too make room for someone Waz found to bring the pitching to the next level. Hawksworth has been solid but tournament time has been a problem for the pitching staff with some big let down.

Crazy Ending to Michigan State-Nebraska Game
This is one of the few advantage of being the #1 seed, I guess, is knowing what you have to do to win and being able to get some backup pitches some tournament experience while starters get some extra days of rest going into the post season.

B1G Baseball Tournament: Information and a Bad Matchup?
Time for Sanford to get back in the rotation, if not injured, and build some confidence, we're going to need him in the tournament. He doesn't need to go for a lot of innings but could be a good starter or mid relief guy that goes for 3 innings. Pitching had been our weakness in past tournaments and 1 or 2 pitchers need to step up to make a deep run. Can't always put it on the offense.
