So your telling me Emmert was being paid 56, thousand a week? That's interesting to say the least. I can't fathom the NCAA paying that guy even 5000 thousand a week. That is ridiculous at best. That tells me that money goes everywhere everyday and lots of it to people who shouldn't be getting that big a pay day. People starving homeless and that clueless wonder makes that kind of money. I'm seriously so close to just making better use of my time with any sports period.

It all clicked for Dennis after he played Baseball that Summer. Belotti didn't want him to but it helped him open up his game. Man if he doesn't hurt his knee we probably win our first Natty! So close for something to get in the way and especially injury's. Unfortunately they are part of the game and that's why Oregon needs to recruit like Georgia does. Thompson needs to just keep working and stay hungry, humble and honest with himself. He could be great yet he needs to progress or he will get left behind.

love it! Be nice if Oregon could finally win the Natty then it wouldn't be so hard to listen to the people that disrespect Oregon. In a way I get it they keep wondering when if ever will the Ducks do it. I think with Lanning and this staff these guys get it and I just feel that everybody who plays for this team will all run through walls for this staff and this will fair much better on game days rather than watch average RBs run through holes 65% of the time. The old is finally out and the people that want to be here will be given the chance to step up and win their position.

I I read he will be coming on board this spring and doesn't mean he will be at the game or not but sounds as if he will be a Duck. To me this is perfect timing for Lanning to get the rest of the young men on board.

Yeah I still cannot wrap my head around him going to Arizona even after Mario left. These guys cannot for the life of themselves understand how bad a HC Mario really is. Lanning to me is the real deal and especially his game plan for BAMA in the championship game was legit. He also is comfortable enough in his own skin to do that and then still come west and win recruiting battles. So lets just say Mario leaving and Dan the Man being hired will pay huge dividends starting this fall. Enough talent right now for Oregon to win 11 games with the right QB.

Well if it is supposed to be the hottest day of the year then this summer will be officially screwed by moderate cold weather. No chance of that happening let alone snow this weekend. Man I sure would love to know what these weather reporters make for always being wrong most the time.

Yeah who would have thought after that huge win in the shoe that things would have ended the way they did. I just didn't see AB being the guy ever after the Stanford debaucle. I'm sorry if I don't understand what your asking, but if your asking people us regular joe's to give money to players I would say HECK NO. That would be the last string for me. Just my opinion but no way would I ever contribute one dime of my money to this. Phil Knight is like a 47 Billion Dollar man so let him give all the money. Well I can't hate on Mr Dye because the kid gave his all on every play it's just that I can't root for him at SC and that would be ever. I can't see him beating out some of the highly rated RBs on that roster unless they just don't give their all. Kind of like a certain 5 star DE that just left Oregon for the NFL who if he would of gave his all like Travis I'm quite sure he could of been the number 1 pick in Aprils draft. Makes me want to puke nonetheless with him wearing that ugly scarlet puke uni's. Sorry TD just can't root for you now.

Good ideas Dave and yes I would be thrilled to see our new staff in action because in the long run I feel these young coaches are not just good their all hard working Men. My only issue with the spring game is I certainly do not want to see " STAR " players getting carted off the field or limping off the field. Honestly I'd prefer to see Justin Flowe play a 14 game season is you know what I mean. Besides with this crazy pay for play going on I just don't see CF succeeding very much longer. They have officially ruined this Game with paying players as if they deserve more free stuff besides a free education with a chance to play in the NFL. Honestly I'm just about done with all College sports.

Sorry Dave that guy should have been better regardless of the secondary. Also we've all heard about the stuff that came out of his mouth which was very eye opening. He has talent yet he showed us that he really didn't bring it all the time and I and that's just me was very dissapointed in his play. Both those Utah games were extremely hard to watch from a team way more talented. Also he quit on his team when he wouldn't play in the ALAMO Bowl. The guy was getting paid to play. I will not root for him ever because i just can't root for quiters. Not my MO. Would you want a guy like that in your fox hole?

If Bo isn't the starter then that means Thompson to me will be primed for a huge season. That will be a huge relief from last years terrible season. I mean we beat OS in the shoe then everything fell apart. Not gonna be the case this year as I expect Oregon to beat everyone except Georgia.

I've It's called read on other sites that Oregon next year should be good enough to be a 4 seed and I spit up some pretty good wine. This team this year had the best talent ever assembled that clearly should still be playing. Makes perfectly good sense what coach A said about nobody was there early or left late. If that doesn't open up these players eyes then their all sleep walking. Look at the players coming in next year two top 20 players so lets hope they got work ethic. As far as Dana saying he thinks there will be transfers and even mentioned Bittle then he's obviously being clear as day. So maybe Mr Bittle was a little over rated or doesn't like working a whole lot when he should because that statement Altman made was crystal clear to me. Seems as there was a little bit of that on the lady's team also. First the Football team the the BB teams. WOW maybe they were all hanging out together a little to much. It was to say the least a very odd year for two of Oregon's top sports program. To me this " CODDELING " stuff is over rated or hey take a time out. No this is about a whole lot of money now and way to much than just the free DEGREE they are getting. I'm finally getting turned off by this and the rich greed that goes with it. I mean look at the whole world and the crazy going on and these players are getting 8 million dollar's to play for Tennessee? Then watch them when they say I don't want to play because I've got a hang nail, or my leg hurts, or I'm not gonna play because were playing Stony Brook.

Ridiculous! I'm not on board with this BS no matter how they play it. Its stinking greed at it's worst. Might as well call this SEMI Pro league but at a ridiculous wage. Somebody gonna have to stand up and stop this ridiculous amount of money these players are getting. I don't believe Kayvon earned whatever he got? I seriously don't think he earned one penny of that money. He under performed and the way he's acting now it's no wonder. HOF players at the next level don't worry about the money as they go out and earn it.

Honestly I feel really sorry for Coach that these players couldn't come together and play like he wanted them to. Altman is a great HC and look at the talent alone for just next years class and more than likely 3 Five star players who are all at the top at their respective positions. I'm thinking though he really misses his Assistant from the year before who led them in defensive team play. So something is quite wrong with this current roster in playing team ball and certainly doesn't help that Richardson wasn't available. Still no excuses for the players. SAD. Kind of feels like the Football season as in a huge let down. This wasn't on Altman though.

Tosh makes a huge difference period! I will just say that I'm betting this next class will be Oregon's best ever and maybe Top 5 and don't believe for a second he can't do this every year. Nobody thought Taggart or Cristabal would recruit like they did here either. Lanning I'm telling you gets it and he will make it happen. This guy is smart, super smart and everything he's done every day up till today proves it.

I mean Mario I don't believe was bringing in this type of talent this early or for that matter never all in the same day or weekend. I could be wrong but Dan the Man to me gets it many times over for his age. Three 5 star Defenders in the spring. Heck yeah sign me up. Lanning to me has done everything the right way from staying on at Georgia and finnishing what he started and I admire this young guy as he was raised the right way.

Just my opinion but this Cats only about the money. I'm not happy he not only got a free ride to the UO but that he also got paid more than likely over a MILLION Denaro for his play that if you really think about was not 5 star stats. Not even close not to mention he quit on his teammates for the Alamo Bowl. The guy is clearly about the 0's behind the checks. The NFL will more than likely get the same thing and it's really sad a guy with his talent and not giving all of it. He should of had no less than a sack every game and especially in the PAC 12. Not impressed with KT.

Every time I open up about this BB Team on whatever site and I see they lost to Washington, WSU teams they should have beaten soundly I just can't see this team winning the PAC 12 Tourney. I look at this Roster and Dana has all the ingredients on his team to succeed and they should have not lost many regular season games at all. So it just goes to show you talent alone isn't gonna get it done and I'm sure inside he's racking his brain trying to figure out why this team could go down to the LA area and beat both USC and UCLA and then lose to teams they shouldn't have. I mean do I really believe they can't win the tourney? Well with Dana as the HC we've seen the proof and to me it's insane to think that this roster is this bad, or excuse me doesn't seem to play hard enough to beat lesser teams with way lesser talent. Its like the Football team this year and we saw what the real issues were and I do believe most of that insanity was on the OLD HC that couldn't get back to Miami fast enough. That was all on him being a HC that thought he was the reason they won at all. Thank goodness we know Dana's isn't like that and he's a great HC in my opinion. We've seen him do more with way less and those teams just played hard most nights. Go Ducks as obviously we want you guys to succeed and you guys have enough talent to not only win the Pac tourney and also talented enough to go far in the Big tourney.

Lets be honest with Larry, he was a perfect fit for the PAC 12 because for some odd reason they never checked on Larry making the conference legit. He was just making a huge payday for himself. He was a fraud from Harvard as who would have ever thunk it.
