This game could so go either direction. Their run game, tempo and a hot DTR could eat us up. But the team does always seem to get up for playing in LA. KT will be at full strength for a full game and have Swinson and Funa & Co. to help. This could be our best defensive performance to date. If AB can keep some of that 4th quarter mojo going in the first half...you could be right Confused. A big win on a big stage. With GameDay there, should be plenty of incentive.

A SEC team gets more attention and perhaps better recruits. Seems an easy choice to me. Not to mention more $$.

So right on! This game in the Rosebowl certainly will set the expectations for what this team can do. KT is so right, this team has not played it's best D or O. Seems to me that our guys seem to get "up" for games in LA. I'm hoping so this weekend. We will need an "A" game to beat UCLA.

Where are all the blue-chip players on offense? They aren't starting yet. QB, RB, WR are mostly still 3* kids. We are expecting better play cuz on paper we have star power, but it's not all on the field yet. Is this part of the issue? I think our run blocking schemes are at issue also. I know TD just had a great game, but tell me, is any else surprised that a Chip Kelly offense is leading the conference in the run game! Finally, we may be 5-1 now, but all the remaining games are teams better than who we've already played, save tOSU. If we go 3-3, will those critical of us who are disappointed now still think that all is good?!

Good points JJ. I think the issue of expansion came up too fast on a new commissioner who hadn't had time to get to know his people. In that case, putting off a decision is better than rushing into one you may regret. Also, dealing with presidents and chancellors with different alumni bases might take awhile to "work the room" and find out where everyone stands. IMHO, the best part of the alliance is not the 1 extra OOC game but the voting block power. This alliance effectively puts disney and the SEC in check. To me that's worth it all.

Seems to me that all our blue-chip players on offense are young and not seeing the field much, other than the 2 TE's. Also, didn't rotate O-line against Cal like other games.

Good points about Moorhead. He also has to be healthy enough to take that kind of stress. Btw, do you think his value has increased much being at Oregon?

Not only will he run tempo, but defensively they will key on stopping the run and make AB beat them through the air. That won't happen. Saturday will be painful to watch and with GameDay there, embarrassing also.
