Honestly I cant imagine hiring a head coach and not allowing them to pick their assistant coaches.

Thats the 8 million dollar question right there.

My hope for the Ducks is to be innovative--Rob Mullens job is to make that happen. PKs job is to pay for it and my job is to ALWAYS be a fan.

First off Im not the only one here that likes fast paced entertaining offense. Secondly I would prefer someone from the west to be our coach. Thirdly if you want the best recruits to come to Oregon you have to hire someone that is offensive minded.

one other thing The PAC is a REALLY WEAK conference-Im not sure if most PAC teams could win the Mtn West.

I would still be a Duck fan But I wouldnt watch the games--just wait for a good outcome on the score.

Hes probably a good choice if we are going into SEC land to get recruits, but even if we hired him will he be a good fit for Eugene?

My thought is that ANY coach we hire could be risky. As others have said just because a coach has had success or even failure doesnt mean we are going to have the same results as they had before--good or bad.

And the right hire will bring his own recruits too.

According to ESPN -Oregon is making a PUSH to bring back Kelly. Whats a Push? Sounds kind of serious to me but time will tell.
