  1. IMO if possible, send the defense out first and smash Fusky in the mouth. Ornery and mean. Continue it till the last play of the game. Leave them battered and bruised and make a statement to the Pac that this will be different than what they have been used to. Leave no doubt that if you choose to challenge the Ducks you will pay a heavy price. Offensively, just go do your thing. Your really good and well coached. You have some of the best skill players in college football and an O line that might be better than last year. I am feeling more aggressive the closer we get to this game. Compleatly jacked for this deal to go down.
  2. I like it when Dans salty. Rubs off on the team and makes the team salty. I want Oregon to play with a nastiness to them. After this Saturday, the rest of the teams on Duck schedule need to fear the Ducks.
  3. I found this interesting. I don't understand some of it. Maybe some of you guys do and find it interesting to discuss.
  4. Gonzaga has more value to the B12 than WSU and OSU? Clearly only Pac fans find value in these schools. The rest of the country seems to care less. I guess OSU should have built value in the program instead of whinning about Uncle Phil and Oregon over the years. Oh well, it's Beavus problem.
  5. I heard people are hired to hold the sign. Duck fan or not. I hope ther are 50 Bo signs in Seattle.
  6. Tim Tebow won a Heisman with 4 losses. I don't think going 13-0 would get Nix the trophy. Like said above, I don't know that it matters to Bo. Caleb Williams or Penix will probably win it even with multiple losses. I for one am fine with that. Nix, in my view, is a better all around QB and Oregon is a better program.
  7. Do student athletes lose access to scholarship availability once athletic eligibility has expired? If so, maybe extending the scholarship availability up to a doctorate would be made available. A time after athletics to really focus on education
  8. "Oregon is ruthlessly efficient on offense, and that is in large part due to Nix’s ability to run the offense. It isn’t flashy, but it is effective. Nix’s best hope to win the Heisman will come in continuing to do what he is doing: operate the offense and win games." IMO, this is what makes Nix the best player in college football. His ability to manage a game from "the booth". His football IQ is incredibly high. Nix is a second offensive coordinator sitting in the QB position. That is a dangerous man for opposing defenses. Nix can make all the throws. He can run the ball like a second running back option on the field. But what makes Nix special is cerebral. Nix will be the best player on the field this Saturday, every Saturday, because he has the biggest football brain in all of college football. Like a lot of this article says. Huge props to the rest of the team. They make it much easier for Nix to manage the games. Lanning has put together one of the best supporting cast around Nix in the country. This is a complete team across the first and second units. Go Ducks!
  9. Predicting the Final 2024 BigTen Conference Standings WWW.UWDAWGPOUND.COM Now that we have the opponents for the BigTen teams in 2024, we can start... I know this is from behind enemy lines but this Fusky seems to think Ducks will do just fine.
  10. My opinion, defer and punch them in the mouth defensively. Steal first possession and set the tone. Let Fusky know immediately how this is going to go down.
  11. Great pickup. Laulea has played enough football he might be able to contribute immediately. Thats important under the circumstances IMO.
  12. Great news to start a Monday morning with. He is not a Duck yet but atleast Oregon has a shot at this guy. Is Rushing a day one starter talent? Maybe, guess that depends on what Lanning can do in the portal this off season. The move to the B1G probably playes a small part IF Rushing chooses Oregon. IMO though, the play of the 23' Oregon defensive front is a huge part IF Rushing actually flips to Oregon. Lanning has a lot of work to do before the 24' season kicks off. Great start landing Laulea yesterday. Now land Rushing and get a head start on rebuilding this roster for 24'

  14. It might not grow as much as we think coming off the blocks. The natural bump most likely comes from the fans of new conference members. Naturally some of the fans of old conference members will tune out. Early in the season people will be curious and tune in. After a couple games I could see fans lose interest if Oregon isn't very competitive. A previous thread points out the struggles Oregon could face next year. If Oregon can't replace personel lost in the off season and remain competitive, fans will tune out. Ducks have a very young and inexperienced coach so this is a real possibility. Hopefully Oregon can figure it out a remain competitive. There is a flip side to every coin. And perhaps Oregon remains competitive at the top of the B1G. If that happens the whole country will be tuned in and the Oregon fan base grows tremendously. My opinion is that Oregon shows up and balls out. But thats a tough schedule. Here's hoping for the best.
  15. I agree, college football hasn't been amateur for decades. Look at the size of the modern day coaching staff, the assistance, nutritionist, strenth and conditioning, recruiting support and on and on. Look at the hours these staffs put into it just to stay competitive. To call it amateur is laughable. The mountains of cash alone is mind blowing.
  16. The past 30 years has been good to Oregon. Since 1995 they have had 2 losing seasons. One in 04" under Bellotti and one in 16" under Helf. 6 losing conference records during same time frame. Ducks have had some dominate years in the modern era. Arguably, They have been the flagship program of the Pac. The modern era is what matters imo. Next year Ducks move to the B1G and Pac records and accomplishments will no longer be built on. It won't take long before the Pac is a distant memory. Sad imo. I hope Ducks can continue the success in the B1G they have established in the Pac. That they can boast numbers that put them at the top of the B1G statistically right out of the gate. First year in, from what many say, could be a huge challenge. Ducks will be rebuilding a huge chunk of their roster. A daunting task for any head coach. We will see if Lanning is up to the challenge or if the first 18 months of his tenure was simply beginners luck. Going to be fun watching this new era unfold over the next few years. It's my belief that the Ducks will become a true national power that is feared and respected.
  17. Mariø is the worst coach in college football. How this guy got to this position is beyond me. The guy is a joke.
  18. USC is garbage. Not impressed. They will lose 3-4 by end of regular season.
  19. Flowe has always made bonehead plays. Not the highest football IQ on the planet
  20. Lol... and GT scores right after Calen Williams gets sacked. I think that was a greatest top 10 five seconds in my football watching history. Haha! Watched Caleb get sacked then hit the recall on the remote and watched GT score. Amazing
  21. Miami getting punched in the mouth. Down 14-10 to GT. Early 4th
