Any team that schedule teams like Mercer at the close to the season and doesn’t play in the conference championship doesn’t belong in the playoffs. Period. I didn’t see very much of the Indiana game but I did see enough that told me their secondary was slow and no way would they hang with the big dogs in the playoffs.

I can’t help but wonder how Bill Belichik will adapt to the new college recruiting and portal world with NIL and unlimited free agency. I could be wrong but I just don’t see it working for him. In my opinion it is much tougher to coach in college than the NFL. It’s a full time fob with little rest definitely a young man’s game.

Maybe frustration has raised its ugly head. Loosing to the top teams in the B1G every season has to be the theme song of the lions. It’s ok for him to be frustrated I know I would be. The same thing will probably happen to him next season and Franklin knows it.

It’s hard to predict how good Willys next move would be. If he does go somewhere to a head coaching spot he is not apt to have anywhere near the offense studs that he will be able to tinker with like he will have in Eugene. The way he recruited this year ( responsible for three 4 star QBs this go around even though Smith is actually credited to last year ) it’s seems unlikely he is going to move on any time soon. Stranger things have happened.

Sorry IMHO any team that plays Mercer, loses to Oklahoma, and doesn’t get to their conference championship game does not deserve a playoff bid…

I was at that game against Tennessee and I think there were almost as many of their fans in their hospitality area as there were inside Autzen not to mention how great those fans were. Very enjoyable game for my wife and I.

Great win and I hate washington fans. In their defense have you ever been there!! Pretty much rains all the time or is extremely dreary fog is second to none. That alone is bad for your brain function. Have you ever tried to drive thru that town in rush hour traffic? Could cause brain damage. I was once in a traffic jam that went from just north of Olympia all the way to Seattle. One of the worst days of my life. People were standing beside their cars. They have, wait, no nba team. They have the Chicken Hawks. They wine like a starving puppy. And best of all they just got the crud beat out of them by a Duck. poor little puppy fans.
