  1. David, Another well written and thought out article. I to was yelling at my screen during our red zone visits. I have to wonder if Cardwell being injured had some impact on the game calling in those situations. But, for the life of me, I do not understand calling the same play twice in a row to Dollars. I called the interception before the Dollars was out of the backfield the second time. I'm no genius, and even I recognized it immediately. I'm a huge Sean Dollars, and get excited every time I see him in the game. He has far too many skills to limit him to the same play. KD has to (and will) learn to use all his weapons in a variety of ways. I'm confident this offense learned for more than 1% Saturday. For this I'm grateful and extremely excited! Go Ducks!!!
  2. I still think Mario is a Duck... He left knowing we could and would get someone better. I say: Thank you Mario. We could not have done it without your desire to help! HA!
  3. I'm all for it. But, it will take more NIL than I'm willing to offer!
  4. LA to Seattle= 960 miles (by air) LA to NJ (Rutgers) 2450 miles (by air) So roughly 2.5 times as far. Without a west pod... Every flight would be at least 1.5 times as far. So there would easily be 3 times as many miles traveled compared to the small footprint of the Pac12.
  5. Jester, your thoughts exactly match the ones bouncing around in my head. Glad there is someone who can put it into written form!
  6. Not sure I've ever said this before... But, GO BEAVS!!!
  7. Hopefully our Ducks will hate hearing "and it's another Cougar first down..." as much as I do. It's worse than a chainsaw rev echoing in my head. No Cougar first downs..... PLEASE!!! Just please!
  8. Bulldogs do not eat rat poison.... they drool on it! I foresee another ring on coach Smart's finger.
  9. I for one would hate to see night games go. I know I'm odd. I'll admit I'm a night owl. You are far more likely to see me awake at 1am than 6am. I would much rather drive in the darkness of night than drive before the sun rises. I'm drinking coffee either way. I embrace every game at Autzen. However, I find a true night game brings the best fan experience. Something about the roar of the crowd in the cool air that feels like real college football to me. I understand many find the drive home exhausting. To them, I suggest having someone like me do the driving while they take a nap. As far as the east coast watching... I don't feel they are not likely to anyways. There are three times as many fan bases on that coast all fighting for the same times slots. We live on the west (best) coast. Lets use it to our advantage and play games in the slots ready for us. But, that is just one night owls opinion. Good night everyone!
  10. Ducks, 41-27, 2-TO, 3-Sacks, 302yds
  11. I was fine with Travis... until he started talking like a Trojan. When he starts talking like a Duck again I will accept him back probationally.
  12. Working fine on my Desktop/Windows 10/Chrome
  13. Jon, growing up in San Diego Dan Fouts was my hero. Yes it worked!!!
  14. Agreed... He apparently hasn't watch Oregon since 2016.
  15. Agreed!!! The coaches see much more than any of us. We all know Ty has the physical skills he just is lacking something mentally. Hopefully the game will start slowing down for him. When it does... he could be special.
  16. Seven does not appear to have the "it factor" that DAT had. Yes, he is quick and illusive. But, I have not seen anything from him yet that puts him near DAT level. I really hope he can get there at some point. But, DAT had it from day one... Seven not so much.
  17. Would You Rather be Dan Lanning or Jimbo Fisher? I would need to see a photo of their wives... and a copy of the prenup! 😉
  18. Direct TV does not carry the Pac12 Network. You would need DishTV or a cable provider. This was one of Larry Scott's biggest mistakes!
  19. I'm hoping he feels much more confident in his OL than he ever did at AU. If so, I believe the game will slow down for him, plays will be made, and points will be scored. Hopefully a few more than Georgia. Go Ducks!!
  20. Alex, I agree with pretty much everything you pointed out in your well written article... other than the game being played in Athens. If all three of these things come to fruition the Ducks will be in this game with a chance to win. Let's hope this is the case. My gut tells me the Ducks won't get embarrassed. But, Georgia will show they are superior team. Hope to see them again in January.
  21. Georgia 24-17 2 TO 5 Sacks 263 passing yards
  22. The FishDuck Feed is incredible! It is also overwhelming... in a good way. So much to read, absorb, contemplate. I love my Ducks! But, at some point I should try and get some work done!
