  1. Love it! That could make a great bumper sticker for them to give to their recruit's parents. UW. Adorably delusional.
  2. While I am not opposed to expanding the Pac12... I'm also not opposed to jumping ship. Oregon needs to do what is right for Oregon. Schill and Mullens are smart enough to understand that the UO is getting screwed with the Pac12 profit sharing. I would think they would rather be dividing profits with other schools that actually have profits. Like it or not collage sports are about money. UO earns it... They might as well keep it. I know change is hard. But, all of these options require change. So, might as well study up on ALL the options and make an informed choice.
  3. I'm not sure I agree on that. I'm from San Diego and I can assure you that UCLA does not draw an ounce of attention with SD viewers. USC isn't a whole lot better. Since the Chargers left for LA (don't get me started...) SDSU football has gained much traction in the community as the only team in town. If the Aztecs were on TV against any Pac12 team SD viewers would watch.
  4. To me expansion and Media Rights have to go hand and hand. One must elevate the other. There are some rather large media markets in the west being ignored by the Pac12. San Diego, Las Vegas, Hawaii are some just off the top of my head that are easily in the top 100 markets in the country. SDSU, UNLV, and HI all have decent (at times) athletic programs these schools could be of benefit Kliavkoff for media negotiations. But, I doubt the academia of the conference would see them as equals and fans would not accept them as competent competitors. Watching the Pac12 Network on my phone while traveling the country because no bar/restaurant has it... gets tiring. The current media coverage is simply a joke and without media coverage the Pac will never gain attention. I'm hopeful Kliavkoff can get us an upgrade regardless of whether expansion happens.
  5. My brother has been researching this a lot. He watches many videos on YouTube. I believe the channel he likes is called "World According to Briggs". This guy gives tons of different info on city or states. Like cost of living, community services, property values, etc.. He seems to know his stuff and puts in a lot or effort into his reviews. Seems to be a good source of info.
  6. I'm a homer..... But, not that much of a homer. No chance. Sorry.
  7. I hope your hopes come true! If this offense can bond and play as a unit. I feel this team can be special.
  8. As long as it doesn't affect his support of the Ducks I'm all for it!
  9. 100% agree. They have been great. Knowledgeable and good humored.
  10. How many points would your defense allow to Mario's offense? and I want the truth!
  11. I like it.... and I bet the recruits like it too!
  12. LaMichael was the best. But, you have to give a lot of credit to the great downfield blocking. That was a true TEAM.
  13. USC fans: "No, there was not NIL money for Addison"........ "There is no way Conerly would go to Oregon without a huge NIL deal"..... Oregon fans: "No, there was not NIL money for Conerly"......... "There is no way Addison would go to USC without a huge NIL deal"..... The likely truth: Conerly to Addison (and vice versa): "I love getting paid to go play ball with my friends."
  14. I go here quite often. Especially during coaching searches. Footballscoop FOOTBALLSCOOP.COM Since 1999, the premier source for coaching job information.
  15. Bringing in two punters makes me think that Snee is likely NOT coming back. I know he had some "issues" to get sorted. I wish him the best.
  16. Success to me will be seeing improvement every week, not playing down to the competition, and finishing off the opponent. If these things happen. It will be at least 10 win season. With multiple blowouts. Remember those?
  17. Yeah, a lot of build up just to cut the list to seven. But, at least DL and the boys (@UO) are still in it.
  18. Jaden Rashada, Pittsburg 5-star quarterback, cuts list, sets commitment date - Scorebook Live NEWS.SCOREBOOKLIVE.COM Pittsburg High School (California) five-star quarterback Jaden Rashada is one step closer to making his college decision. After teasing a mysterious Tuesday June 18th announcement. Oregon makes the cut.
  19. Isle of Man TT (motorcycle race) Monaco GP (F1 Race) Ducks vs Bama (NCG) 2023! Those are my bucket list dreams.... Planning on: UO vs GA Sept. 3rd 2022 Chargers vs Raiders Dec 4th 2022
  20. Very cool! Its been 25 years since my youngest was that size. Hope your son enjoys every second of it.... and you as a grandpa spoil her rotten!
  21. Charles, I appreciate your opinion and your passion for all things green and yellow. I do feel green and yellow are the school colors and should be well represented in all uniform combinations. Since black and white are not even "colors" their use within the uniform design does not bother me. When used correctly they can enhance the feel and promote emotion. Black strikes fear. White suggests superiority. These are both emotions that should be felt by all of the Ducks competition. Nike infused these shades into the uniforms knowing this. The recruits love it. Nike also realized that adding these multiplies the possible combinations to a near infinite number. This set our Ducks apart from every other school for years. Yes, others are catching up and it may be time to up the ante. This may lead to some failures (like the eggshell uni's). but may lead to the next great idea. I feel the blue bloods can afford to stay classic and Oregon needs to stay innovative. At least we all love our Ducks regardless of what they are wearing.
