As I remember, the Ducks played in the first OT college football game and beat Fresno State. I like having some sort of OT rather than games ending in a tie.

I'm crossing my fingers and keeping good thoughts that he does!

The snapper might not have done it intentionally, but he might have been so ticked off that his anger caused him to snap the ball with too much force....

Happy! Happy! Happy! But now on to getting ready to cheer the Ducks on against wsu!

Why don't they have enough jackets for all the players? I felt chilly just watching them out there in that heavy rain and cold.

We aren't we running the ball more? I thought uw was not so hot at run defense?

That's what it looked like.

My reaction is, Yay! Now, let's forget about it and concentrate on beating the Huskies and then winning the rest of the games. 🙂

I remember years and years ago the beav fans were all hot to believe that they were going to beat the Ducks in the CW game. The Ducks won 44-0 or something like that. The next day I talked to my mother, who said, "That must have been a boring game." I said, "Not for Ducks fans!" Sure, fans of the losing team, or casual viewers who have no stake in the game might think blowout games are boring, but the fans of the winning teams do not. 🙂

Duck fans never get tired of seeing that! I hope they show it on the big screens before every game forever.

Everything that everyone's said about the game, plus it was a 12:30 start time, daylight throughout, though a bit chilly it did not rain--a great day!

But that is the thing with booing. People hear it and they are going to assume what they are going to assume. And then they are going to say what they assume, as if it is fact. Truth in advertising, I don't believe in booing: 1) Miss Manners would not approve. 2) No one can read the minds of the boo-ers, so those who hear the booing will make their own assumptions--it may not be fair, it may not be right, but, unfortunately, that's the way it is.

As long as the team does not look past them. 🙂

"Nick Saban demands his coordinaors to be on the sideline to call offensive plays instead of the box." That's probably so he can chew them out on the sidelines in front of the TV cameras.

No matter how big he is, he will always be his Momma's little boy. 🙂

I've read speculation that he's homesick. What can I say? At that age, I lived at home and commuted to college. Sometimes it just takes a while before someone is ready to take bigger steps and spread his/her wings.

In everyday life the typical body fat content is 25% for women at normal size compared to 15% for men. The article says that "The American Council on Exercise suggests an ideal body fat percentage for a female athlete to between 14% and 20%." There's absolutely no reason to expect a woman athlete to have a lower body fat percentage than that.

The uniforms grew on me too. Of course, the win makes everything look better. 🙂

Actually, people could sit down after the game and write a letter to the coaches with specifics as to where they are aiming their displeasure. Booing leaves a lot open for interpretation, including that some might feel it was the players being booed.

I don't know the answers to HappyToBeADuck's questions, but I do know that the talking heads on sports shows and even the game broadcasters brought up the subject of the booing. I'm hoping that since that Cal game is now more than a week behind us, that they will stop.

There goes my after-the-victory celebration evening.

I don't understand why Ohio State is ranked ahead of Oregon. The Ducks beat OSU, ranked #3 when Oregon played them, currently ranked #5. What is Ohio State's big win since they lost to the Ducks? Tulsa? Akron? Rutgers? Indiana? Maybe Maryland? OSU lost at home to Oregon. Oregon lost an away game to Stanford in overtime.

But Dye wasn't booing. He was being specific. 🙂 And he wasn't part of an anonymous crowd in the stands.
