  1. It does concern me not hearing any updates (not because of coaching, but for him as a person). I realize medical information is private, but I'd think if he was improving, showing signs that he would be released from the hospital soon, that we might have heard that. On the other hand, it's understandable if he and the family just want to keep it all private.
  2. If Moorehead is still in the hospital, it could be a while.
  3. following surgery Saturday: https://saturdaytradition.com/big-ten-football/report-oregon-oc-joe-moorhead-remains-in-hospital-following-surgery-on-saturday/
  4. At the Celebration of Life for Joe Schaffeld. https://twitter.com/UKcoachbrooks/status/1445047465695055872/photo/1
  5. I've been wondering about that too.
  6. The number of injured Duck players hasn't helped matters either. And even the OC was out on Saturday--how often does that happen???
  7. Thanks for the update--sad, but not too surprising.
  8. Do you think there will be enough people parking for the Duck game near CCC around 2:30 so that I will have people to follow to get there without getting lost? Thanks!
  9. I think it's too soon to know. The current team is young, with 5 freshmen who have not been able to bond, because of the pandemic, the way freshmen ordinarily would in a regular season.
  10. I think usually spring practice doesn't start until after spring break, which this year is March 23-28, so maybe it will start on time.
  11. Good thought. It is only one box!
  12. I've been decluttering the house for months now and just ran across a box with football memorabilia in it. Programs, newspapers, posters, tickets, etc. What have you done with such items? Kept them? Tossed them? Donated them to Goodwill? They are such an emotional walk down memory lane for me, but they've been in a box for over 20 years! Will I look at them again? Or will the box gather new dust? football ticket.2.psp
  13. Two night games already. Ugh. Won't be sure until September if I'll attend this season, but if I do I hope the rest are day games.
  14. I'm probably just being nostalgic, but I do have fond memories of Aliotti's bend-don't-break defense. Yes, the opposing teams often seemed to zip right down to the 20-yard line--but then one of three things usually happened. 1) The Ducks would create a fumble and recover the ball. 2) The Ducks would intercept the ball. Or 3) The Ducks would hold the opponent to a field goal.
  15. So...was it Scott's idea that he lose 20 pounds?
  16. Well, I wish Tyler success at AZ or wherever, except if and when he might play the Ducks, of course.
  17. Not good at all.
  18. I wonder how Justin will do under the new Chargers coaching staff. He seemed to learn a lot with the one exiting.
  19. As long ago as the late 70s I remember fans in the stands saying we need Gus the Mule on the kicking team.
  20. In this it also says, "Feely, who plans to begin taking classes at ASU starting March 8, will be a preferred walk-on for the Sun Devils with an opportunity to be put on a scholarship starting in the spring of 2022." So it sounds as if a scholarship is not definite.
  21. And another job description is: Responsibilities: "The primary functions of this position include serve as academic liaison with the Office of Athletics Student Services; develop and implement a progressive life skills program in conjunction with Athletics Student Services; assist with orientation, admissions and housing process..."
  22. "Lucky for Herbert, in being drafted at No. 6, he went to the Chargers and not the Bengals. The Chargers are the better team and organization, as well as his childhood dream team." I think this is important. The team picking No. 1, after, is always the team with the worst record. And really, a player in the first round is going to get good money, even if he isn't #1. I remember it was predicted that Joey Harrington would go 10th in the draft, but instead when 3rd to the Lions. I don't remember who the tenth team was, but I'll bet Joey would probably have had a better start to his career there.
