  1. Nice discount. Just checked - the football tix are about 1/2 price of the going rate on Stubhub. Thanks!
  2. Not good at all that we are not just losing new WR recruits, but enrolled and seasoned guys too. That's the downside of having a QB like AB, unfortunately. Yes, these guys should be more patient, but who can blame them in this day and age. I am personally very surprised that our QB3 Butterfield and QB4 Ashford have been as patient as they are so far. Fingers crossed.
  3. This. Only AB can beat AB. And only Mario can beat Mario... Fingers crossed and focus on one game at a time!
  4. Thanks Duck 1972. But is there any news about their visit and what they thought?
  5. That's great - good championship teams need strong D. Having the likes of KT and Sewell has really done us well. More please... Weren't there supposed to be 2 highly rated receiver recruits at the WSU game? Did they like what they saw, I wonder, with all the running by AB and 130 passing yards? Opportunities or concerns?
  6. Yeah, I have heard that too, but just hope that it doesn't backfire again like the Furd game...
  7. Jonathan Smith may be the best fit, if they can get him to leave the Beavs...
  8. I watched it via Sling stream and the quality/definition seemed fine. What was not was the lack of cameras and how many times they failed to follow the ball correctly. The crew was also pretty weak - were they the same Tree alums assigned to the Furd game?
  9. I have always liked Adams too. What a shame that he was just one thumb injury away from NFL greatness. He would've been like Russell Wilson or even better. But not sure he was second best from Oregon though, depending on how you define it I guess. As far as NFL success, Dan Fouts has to be up there. Let's hope Herbert stays upright and keeps performing!
  10. Before reading the interview, I had always held a grudge against Harbaugh for LaMike's lack of success in NFL. Now it's clear that someone else was to blame. Still Harbaugh was the HC and he definitely failed to utilize LM properly. Too bad for NFL, but good for the burger field. Killer Burger is alright!
  11. This is fun to talk about, but don't want to jinx anything - could we table any talk of Utah game until after this Saturday? 1 game at a time...
  12. Thanks. It's definitely on my list. My daughter has season student ticket and always shared vids and pics about the atmosphere. I was planning to go last year to see the Michigan game until Covid happened. Will have to go next year before she graduates.
  13. If I remember correctly, the boos came when AB missed a short 3-yard pass when the receiver was wide open... But yeah, the fans were just frustrated about his misfires and MC's refusal to change things up. What's wrong with playing 2 or more QBs? I think this year's Oregon team is perfect for that. I know most Dux fans don't watch Notre Dame, but I do because my daughter goes there. They play 3 QBs very effectively, led by a super-senior transfer from Wisconsin, followed by a freshman and a sophomore. Couldn't that be our setup exactly? Start AB, but pepper in TT and Butter... I bet that will get the offense going when it's stuck, not to mention making the team more resilient in case AB goes down after one of those short runs to nowhere?
  14. That's why Suamataia's transfer hurts even more... We could really use a 5-star FR like him now.
  15. Great Analysis. But I also remember what happened when these 2 teams last played each other in the Pac12 cship. Nobody expected the Dux to have a chance coz Utah looked so dominant. This year the comps are much more in our favor, but then we have to play at their home... Overall I am hopefully optimistic - as long as we are prepared like tOSU or even the UCLA/UW game, we should win, despite moments of bad AB plays...
  16. One would have to wonder if the poor playing/coaching between tOSU and Colorado games is contributing to this (small) tide of discontent among recruits. I really hope I am wrong, but I would not be surprised. Fingers crossed that the Ducks kill Dawgs tomorrow and make statements in all the games remaining this season. That will help cement recruiting.
  17. We may have to really treasure this moment because this just painted a even larger target on our backs and you know how the Pac is beating each other up. UW, WSU, Utah and tosu, none of them is easy unless the coaches and AB bring their A game 4x in a row...
  18. Exactly. And don't forget Ty was playing with 2nd team offense too. Mario should've let him use the 1st team. I bet the INT wouldn't have happened. Another poor coaching decision, IMHO. Fortunately he adjusted this time and didn't cost us a game.
  19. Funny most think alike - with this team and the coaches, one can never count on anything. Just fingers crossed that they play just enough to win - that's what AB and the team has been doing all season. "Crushing" anyone is really the fanbase's false expectation and the reason we booed. Shame on us!
  20. Scratching the surface, huh? I wish Mario could get someone to change that... Oh wait, isn't he the guy to talk to?
  21. Apparently the gamblers agree with the pollsters too - the line for UCLA opened as -3 for dux, then instantly shifted to +1.5.... LOL. They are tired of getting their butt kicked, booing or not...
  22. The fan frustration was entirely justified. Every time they booed, I was booing at home at the TV too... The biggest problem with Mario is his refusal to change and adjust. So I hope it's correctly reported that the boos really bothered him. Now we will see which team shows up this Saturday, when they get to play without worrying about the fans booing - the Q3 team or the Q4 team of the last game...
  23. This and the remaining games on Ducks schedule this year will be stressful to watch for a Duck fan simply because MC is too stubborn to adjust. In that way, Ducks will be consistent. So it will be down to how the opponents play. If they play well, then we are doomed. If they suck, then we may get lucky win. We will probably never blow anyone out from now on...
  24. Well, until the top recruits stop coming, what do we know to second guess Mario? Apparently people in the business still think highly of him to want to come to play for him. It's hard for a Duck fan to see the team struggle or fail to dominate, but I say let's wait and see what develops in this season before throwing the coach under the bus...
