  1. I know you should never, but maybe OBD could look to the potatoes of next week - BSU is definitely a bigger threat! We will be watching ND-aTm primarily at the 4:30PM slot. My daughter graduated a Domer, so we no longer hate them, LOL. This game will determine the future of both teams this year.
  2. No luck chatting with them. Guess deal is dead ☹️ "We appreciate you for being such a dedicated fan and value your continuous support to us however these coupon codes are system generated and we cannot allocate it manually."
  3. LOL, whatever team you were referring to, they are so tiny, OBD will stomp all over them with our giant duck feet!
  4. Very cool to have an SEC guy making this kind of prediction. RESPECT... Go Ducks! Keep the intensity up all season and never let up on any game! Personally, I think we will know what kind of team OBD will be this year, after the first 3 games. BSU and Rodents are not to be overlooked!
  5. The article didn't read like the usual biased a**hole that Rick is. His comments were actually very measured and respectful as he did give a lot of credits to the staff and effort for OBD's recruiting success. But sure it's nice to be in a position of envy for a change, a far cry from the 80s and early 90s...
  6. OBD has definitely come a long way since the 90s, but still couldn't get over the Natty hump. I think the most disappointing was the 2014-15 year when our only Heisman winner in history couldn't beat tOSU's 3rd-string. I bet that's still stuck in a lot of people's minds. Think about it - it's the same reason why Notre Dame is always highly rated even though they haven't been elite for a while - coz they did win a bunch of Nattys in the past. Going all the way will definitely push us over that perception hump. Let's all hope this is the year, or it will happen soon.
  7. Elite 11 hasn't been all that predictive of a player's actual success though... Check out the result of the 2020 one that really didn't age well at all. Final ranking of the best QBs from the Elite 11 Finals 247SPORTS.COM Oregon commit Tyler Thompson had a solid three days as did others.
  8. Being a long-time OBD fan like all of you, it's exciting to see all the hypes. But don't they make you nervous? Jinx, jinx? Let's pump the brakes a little and beat BSU and Rodents first, no?
  9. I hope we can beat this mid-major BSU team finally. How many times have we lost to them in the past 20 years?
  10. Is this for real? This damn state is just ridiculous. How is that fair, to pay for incompetence? Never mind, as soon as I typed that out, it just answered itself. I need to move out of Oregon and stop paying for all this crap. But I will forever be an OBD fan!
  11. Sewell makes Goff looks much less overrated. Too bad he couldn't be protecting Herbert or Mariota!
  12. I much prefer us being underdogs, vs everyone's target, now that expectations are higher every year... Glad we have a young coach in DL!
  13. Same logic applies when OBD beats UW next season, right? 😀
  14. I am just rooting for Anthony Brown to get to play, LOL.
  15. Yeah that may be. But not seeing them in top 25 for 2024 seems wrong. You mean they are not even better than Colorado? I guess this came out before the writer heard about Will Rogers staying. Anyway, huge grain of salt with these kinds of rankings this early.
  16. He is definitely a LESSOR Fisch than yourself, Charles!
  17. Agreed. I don't think we should celebrate yet until we know who is replacing him at the Fuskies. Let's face it, OBD fans are only happy he's gone because he beat us 3x in a row. I, for one, would rather that we have a chance to beat them next year with DeBoer as HC. Not sure how I feel about this news yet. Oh well...
  18. He is negotiating now. It's getting real. Might be official before the snowmageddon hits NW Oregon... ESPN: Washington's Kalen DeBoer negotiating to become next Alabama head coach WWW.ON3.COM Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer has apparently emerged as the top pick to replace Nick Saban at Alabama. According to an ESPN report on Friday afternoon, DeBoer is in the process of... 😂
  19. Hmm. Was excited about the talent, but I also see many potential red flags. He may be a good test of Lanning's leadership. Fingers crossed and Go Ducks!
  20. Good one. Dang I had no idea how expensive real estate is in AL. That's Oregon prices, or even California!
  21. Some coaches may welcome Nick's guidance. But it will be hard coming into a program like that, highly paid no doubt, and still have to watch for that shadow. On the other hand, having Nick around may help retain and recruit players too. So it really depends on who is the new HC...
  22. Other than performing poorly under pressure, Penix's other fatal flaw is fragility. He is easily injured and broken. In fact, last night's game may have hurt his NFL draft stock, seeing how he grimaced in the final 2 minutes of the game, being wrapped in that awful-looking tube in his mid-section. And he wasn't really that badly hit in the game. It will surely be worse in the pros. Not good...
  23. Here is yet another reason to root against the puppies - Harbough is more likely to coach Herbert if M wins. That's multiple wins for OBD fans: 1. Something to root for on Sundays 2. M may be weaker, improving OBD outlook in B1G 3. Puppy fans won't hold natty over us for who knows how long
  24. Nice move, Ty! Hope he does well there. Tulane is a fun school that should help him relax and show us all he can do!
  25. Enemy's enemy = friend. That's just basic common sense. Don't overthink it. OBD needs to and will earn its own championship. Counting on our enemy to earn points for us is not the way to think. I root for both teams to lose next Monday. 😂
